NoNo hair removal

Ladies:

For the past 40 days I have been using the NoNo Hair Removal System. They give you a 60 days trial period and if you are unhappy for any reason, they will pay the return postage and refund your money.. Well, I'm not returning my NoNo. I used to have a pretty thick beard. In the past 40 days I've been using my NoNo on my face, arms, chest, and legs. It's starting to work. Hair growth has been slowed and I've noticed the arm and leg hair is less. My beard, I think it's starting to affect the hair. It feels different. Not as thick. I'm going to take another 40 days and see if I have pretty much clobbered all my body hair, I'll report back about.

I've heard results are good, but you need to be aware if you aren't already that the NoNo is NOT permanent hair removal. It will certainly give you better and longer lasting results than most every other method short of laser or electrolosys, and I'm guessing you don't have the beard shadow to deal with ? I wish I could afford one....I think they're great, I just want to make sure you know it's not permanent.

Your daughter is adorable. I finished my internship and stayed home with my daughter. We have a bond that I cherish. I hope she makes your world go round and round and round.

Give her a hug for me. Kathryn

Your hair has got multiple phases that it goes through, one of them is a "sleeping phase".

These tools and products play on the natural phases of hair growth, and the longer they put them in the sleeping phase, the slower the hair growth. But that doesnt mean anything because at the same time, you still got every hair coming back.

I have owned a no-no and I was totally dis-satisfied with the product and and the outrageous cost.I my opinion,it's a 29.95 product with only marginal results. So girls,be careful.

After reading this thread back when it was originally posted I decided to research this product. Here is what I found:

This product has over 153 negative reviews on Amazon, Negative being 1 star...

every other review totaling 2 stars to 5 stars totals 11 reviews. 11 reviews above 1 star, 153 reviews that are at 1 star... or wishing they could give it no stars.

If you would like to try it, I can say that it's cheaper on Amazon and Amazon will play middle man between buyers and the company if you need or want to return it and they give you problems. A lot of people say to take their risk free 60 day trial but I've heard mostly bad things about that as well. As I understand it you can only be eligible Things like they won't give you an address to return it to so you have to keep the product while they keep your money and other such under handed stuff.

There is no miracle product for hair removal.

If you have good results with this machine then you are very fortunate because it seems the greater majority of people who use it don't.

Do your research before buying.

I read about her this morning. What a shame! She was beautiful and it seems she had a strong support system in place and could have had a wonderful life all to have it end like this. Such a waste. I truly hope the monster that killed her gets everything he deserves.

I am so glad you enjoy them as well. The help things “stay put” so well. It got me through some of my most dysphoric times.   Wow, I hadn’t heard this at last week’s Zoom meeting if you had mentioned it. That is a huge milestone April Marie.I have no doubt that this confidence will only grow in time. The freedom of being yourself, especially in public, is a wonderful feeling. I am truly happy for you.😘   *Big Congratulatory Hug* Susan R🌷

@Abigail Genevieve, that is not an appropriate question, IMO.  This isn't the Army/McCarthy hearings.   Carolyn Marie

Don't think Americans would go for the "compulsory" part. We kind of like not being told what to do ... Amazingly, there is great pushback on voter ID laws. The opponents say it discourages voting, especially among the poor and minorities. That is really a smokescreen IMO for those who want to harvest ballots from as many places as possible, including folks who don't exist or don't hold citizenship...

Pretty soon I think I might be ready to talk about gender-affirming care for kids, possibly w/r/t the Cass Review and its shortcomings.

She was a beautiful young woman ...   "What we do know is that the offender was a very violent individual and should not have been on our streets.”  Whether gender related or not, the mental health and incarceration issues in our country are incredibly bad and need to be addressed.

April,   I'm glad my entries are interesting to you.  TransCentralPA is a great organization with so many caring people.  I would strongly recommend you find a way to attend the Keystone Conference.  I guarantee you'll find it an amazing experience.     Hugs,   Sally

Dear @Sally Stone.  I think you should author a memoir based on these posts (maybe you're already working towards that?).  You could decide at a later time if/when you might want to publish.   I appreciate you sharing your deep connection with your friend Willa (and I am sorry for your loss) and the benefit of having a Trans friend and mentor in our Life and Journey.  I was fortunate to have found one also in our TGP friend @Kasumi63.   As you know we share many common Life themes in our stories.  Drop me a PM if you'd like to chat about it.  Looking forward to the next 'chapter'.

Voting is compulsory here, for better or worse. Would doing the same in the US snap people out of their apathy?
    • Abigail Genevieve
I am noting you use CRT terminology.  The comment is not out of the blue.  Some of your remarks on religion suggest atheism.  So it is believable that you are a Marxist, knowingly or not.  Are you?
