Wrong number - sound like a guy

I was taking a nap when a phone call came through on my cell phone I missed the phone call I called back half awake the number on the call display and a girl answered I asked the girl hi somebody just called my number and she asks me if this was Kaitlin and I said Kaitlin yeah this is Kaitlin  She says this is Kaitlin and I say correcting myself this is Krisina and she replied I sound like a guy and hung up.

That really didn't make me feel good I wasn't expecting a wrong number call, I was half awake and I wasn't thinking about vocal range either.

Aw, dang, girl, I know how you feel. It really sux when that happens. But you know as well as I do that voice is a tough nut to crack, it sometimes it just doesn't work the way you want. You certainly had a good reason - an unexpected call when you're half awake is not the best situation.

You'll do better next time, I'm sure. Just chalk it up to a bad day and put it behind you.

I am sorry for your experience. I know this won't set you back!

I try hard to not respond to any calls when I am not completely awake.

It never goes well for me when I rush to answer while still groggy.

Kaitlin is one to talk, she apparently can't use a telephone! Don't worry about it, someone you don't know who obviously isn't very mannerly. My aunt sounds like a gentleman, but you would never catch me letting her know that over the phone! I love my auntie.

Uggh - that can be rather distressing to have happen. Something I have found that worked for me when I found myself in that type of situation is to grab a glass of water really quick. I have no idea if it would work for others, but it seemed to help me when I was working my way to my female voice.
