Question about transsexuals in adult films

So everywhere I go and do research, people have pretty much confirmed that it is hard to maintain an erection while on hormones. You also lose the ability to ejaculate. But I've see a couple trans adult films where the girls can keep an erection and some even ejaculate. How is that? I'm pretty sure they are on hormones because they have really feminine features. I'm just curious to know.

It's possible that they aren't on hormones at all but have had a whole lot of reconstructive surgery.

.

The general answer is that when one goes on HRT, the doctor will tell you that most will lose there ability to get an erection and most will not be able to have children after an amount of time on hormones....

Notice that they don't say everyone.....

Well as far as erections are concerned I think viagra would probably help... for ejaculations, idk special effects maybe? I honestly don't know much about the subject, but they are definitely doing something different from the rest of us. Like MaryEllen said maybe they were never on hormones and its just surgery...

There is also a lot of stage effects involved, porn is serious special effects work. We won't go into the details of how I know, but a couple of Porn film companies were in my caseloads over the years, plus some of the stars. SigH,

I think most have cosmetic surgery, they just dont look like they've really taken hormones.

But if you look at stars like Bailey Jay or Kimber James.. They have to be on hormones, IMO. But they might be taking viagra, to get an erection. It's also possible that they are just young.. It seems that the younger girls that comment on this tend to be able still maintain somewhat of an erection. I've even heard comments that after awhile they were stronger than ever.

I also know how they are able to maintain an erection in the videos, but I won't comment on it as I'm sure it's highly against the rules here.

Hmmm....

Makin' this ol' gal feel purty special...

If I were so disposed, I could manage as well as most I've seen in such films, and I'm at almost 6 months of HRT...

Maybe tomorrow the well will run dry and the pump will cease to function, but so far, so good...

Fortunately, I have little antagonism for my boy part, but I sure do wish it were 'Slot B' and not 'Tab A' instead...can't say my GG spouse agrees with me, though, lol...

Funny how wide the variety of experiences there are along the transition highway. YMMV indeed!!

Love and extended functionality, :) Svenna

A lot of those actors? also use a vasodilator injection of trimix. That stuff would stiffen a corpse. So not everything you see is as it seems. Kathryn

I'm also really curious about this too... and would like to get more info on it if possible, although i know the topic is taboo, and most(like 99%) want their erections to go away, however i'm part of the minority, and i know i'm not alone on this... from what i've researched, i've read interviews where the adult actress will get off hormones for awhile and abstain from any sexual activity before the actual shoot, and voila... if anyone knows any extra info than that, please share as i'm really trying to find out more!! :D

well , proof is in the penis so to speak . if you look at the genitals of trans pornstars specially the more attractive ones , you can tell which are almost totally surgically altered meaning , they have prolly never had a drop of synthetic estrogen in thier bodies . and which ones that started HRT at a very young age to achive the same level of physical attractivness, look at the genitals (if you are watching it then you prolly are any way) i have seen a few of them my self. and as a long term user of HRT . i'm not talking about months or or even 3-4 years . over 10 years of hrt . specially starting as young as i did, i can tell you........ it stunts your growth, and your ability to us it , dramatically .

so looking at thiers , if they have genitals comparable to that of an average male in both size and function , then the vast majority of thier looks were prolly achieved by surgical intervention. now if you look at them and they have little tiny winkies that do little more than flop around , then they are most likely all estrogen and at a fairly early age.

but take heart , as i have been in many many many of these "will my penis still work post hrt? " coversations if you are a later transitioner at least physically , and allowed you genitals to properly develop IE you didin't kill them to death with preteen HRT use , the consensus i have gathered is that you should still beable to achieve a working erection though baby batter(sorry trying to be an un vulgar as possible) production will be greatly reduced if not stopped all together over time. thems just da bricks , sperm and semen production is totally dependant on a higher testosterone level. but this is all contengient on the question of. " will i still have the desire to use it after a few years of hrt usage ? " , it is not uncommon for it to kill any desire to use it weather it still works or not . a male sex drive and libedo is greatly dependant on testosterone as well, so the desire may be long dead before the member is .

It's possible to go on hormones for a while. then stop and regain that, err, function. I did hrt for a little over a year in 2005-2006. Lost that function but regained it a few months after stopping hrt. Didn't loose the breast development, although of course that stopped progression as well. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody though. My mood turned extremely to the worse.

I've been on hrt for 15 years and can still maintain an erection. I can't think of many reasons why I'd want to but that's a separate issue.

I know that it kills sperm production.

But has anyone ever heard of a transsexual inseminating someone after extended time on HRT?

And I mean naturally.

I'm totally curious at this one, lol.

Well I don't think it completely kills off sperm production in everyone... It drastically reduces it, but doesn't necessarily stop it completely, as long as there are some of them then insemination is still possible even if unlikely (in other words don't count on it for birth control, better to use a condom). It did shut it down for me though, 8 months in and my orgasms are 100% dry, not even a dribble (sorry if thats too much information).

It's not tmi. But I guess that's a good point.

I've studied biology so I know it's probably close to impossible once sperm count drops below a certain level.

Just seems like a scenario from a really bad movie, and makes me laugh lol.

I was a bit obtuse up above. I cannot post a link to it here, and in fact there are many of them, but a Google search in areas you MUST be over 18 to access will get you to some manuals and publications for people posing and shooting adult fantasy videos, and even a listing of places you can "Sell" your home brew vids.

A good part of the information is HOW to stage and film sexual intercourse so you get the most impressive shots of certain physiology, and if you can name a special effects technique, it has a sexual photography counter part. And yes, stunt doubles are used in some scenes. Dove dish soap is a great stand in for certain male body fluids in photography. There is cosmetic blood in several colors and consistencies too so. Not all is "Fake" but it is not "exactly like in real life". A camera hold can make things last forever that were really over in a flash, and a wide angle lens is great too. Dirty minds like to know!! It is a profession based on fantasy and surreality that goes with good storytelling. I have had to meet some of the "stars" in real life and the person off cameral is not what you see in the finished vids. It is acting. It gets some trans people where they want to go, but it is work. Hey a job is a job, and someone has to do it.

At that, some of the more mainline acting members of the entertainment industry that I met were NOT as nice to be around as the adult fantasy entertainment actors I had the ability to meet.

Have you met any trans models/actors?

And I have to imagine. Honestly it's all a fantasy that I would become this feminine beauty and turn into a great porn actress lol, I'd never really want to degrade myself that way even if I had the body for it.

I recently realized I share a birthday with two characters in my favorite show!   Kirishima and Tetsutetsu, both which are guys who comment on things being manly (not in a toxic masculinity type way? They'll call basically anything they find positive "manly"). Kirishima especially is considered a poster boy for positive masculinity, and Tetsutetsu serves as comedy in being very similar to Kirishima in almost every way. I guess that makes October 16th the manliest birthday lol   I find gender affirmation in the strangest places 💀

Short answer, yes. Not easy!! And the "overcome" part is a continuous work in progress. A story is told:   Say you're lost in the woods on a moonless night. It's so dark you cannot even see your hand on front of your face. What do you do? Pick a direction and start walking. You may be on the path out of the woods or you may be going deeper into the woods - you don't know and for some time there's no way to tell the difference. But you keep going. After some time, you begin to see a glimmer of light, not much but just enough to contrast with the previous deep darkness. But it's enough to encourage you that you're going the right way to escape being lost in the dark wilderness.    It's an allegory for the spiritual path. Or if you're not spiritual, call it the path to metal health. For a long time you simply go through the motions and do your best to keep up the forward momentum. You don't perceive yourself as making any progress - it all seems the same. But you practice and develop strength and keep going. Then you begin to notice small differences. You're not as reactive as you used to be. You still have nightmares, but somehow you have more agency in them. There are moments where you experience peace of mind.    Trust is probably the #1 biggest issue for people who've experienced trauma. Certainly it has been for me. Trusting love is real - that's major. But I've found that trust in love is not developed via relationships with others, but rather by learning about yourself and how to feel self-secure. And that is not a matter of autonomy, but rather gaining insight into who you are, essentially. Who you are is indomitable and adorable. You come to believe that in a profound way (not in an egotistical way) and you feel safe anywhere and in all circumstances. You have a feeling of communion and goodwill with all. You are not attached or affected by the actions of others, but are profoundly self-assured in unconditional love for yourself and all. Easily said, but that potential lies in all. It requires guidance, will, discipline, grace, and patience.

Yeah.  I'm a short ways out of town here.  Hay field across the road.  Pasture on 2 sides in back, and lots of trees in my yard - back yard is basically a small woods.  I'm a bit of a tree hugger.

There was no such thing when I was growing up.  Some of my kids played them though, but only the younger ones.  We didn't have a computer for the oldest ones. About the only game I've ever played was Tetris, and that was on one of those old gameboy things.  I still have little interest in them.  My ex did do something for awhile, animal crossing I think.

I remember living that way. My parents didn’t get an air conditioner until the mid 1970s, just before I moved out. Their house was built to utilize cross winds or fans to keep air moving. In those days it was very important to keep the screens in order so the mosquitoes 🦟 out. Flies were dealt with by using fly traps. You do get acclimated to the hot or cold weather in those situations.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well I have been absent recently due to my new hobby of computer gaming. I have worked on a collection of NES, SNES, N64, Sega and now revamping up my PlayStation 1 and 2 collection and then will get Xbox original. My computer isn't powerful enough to run Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 games. It's fun to see the old games that I grew up with.

It's truly bizarre, the changes that have happened over the years. Larger houses on smaller blocks of land which means less trees because there's no room for them, so less shading and the resultant need to run air-con harder, which adds to suburban heat sink, which results in higher local ambient temperatures, which results in increased air-con use. Vicious circle.
    • Ivy
I don't have "air" here, so I pretty much live with what Mother Nature gives me.  Fortunately, there are trees in my yard which helps in the NC summer.  Windows and doors open all summer - closed up in winter. I do have fans, ceiling and windows. When you think about it, everyone used to live this way.

I cannot say that I have. As much as we hope that love, compassion, and therapy help, sometimes opening ourselves up to individuals who later to out to disingenuous, results in worsening of the original trauma. In addition, it may provide a secondary trauma. I have experienced this first hand, and it has left me hardened more than diamond or titanium. There is an emptiness that grabs you when you have been betrayed for innocently opening ourselves up, only to find someone who has went behind your back, and tried to destroy your life.    As for therapy, well, for some of us it works I suppose, until we either run out of money. Insurance is often not useful. There are many "counselors" who will not accept the insurance payments, but will willingly charge much more. When my counselor unilaterally decided to increase charges from 130/session to 180/session, I said enough is enough. I survive, sometimes despite myself. I have paid a fortune out of pocket for everything, and have no illusions about it. If I did not pay what I paid, I would not have received the services including the counseling. Transactional? Yes. I already knew I was transgender. That little gift will exist until my last heartbeat occurs. I will endure because I want to, and because my job/profession benefit others.    It was hard enough coming out later in life. I knew it would be hard. If I had a choice, would I choose to be transgender? No. If I had it to do over again, I would never tell a soul. I would take everything to the grave with me.

Good question, when it comes to love, the trauma from past makes it hard for me to know wither someone really loves me or not. My therapist suggested that I embrace my femininity more, due to my past trauma held me back from doing so and forgive those who mistreated me.
