Make-up.

Maybe I'm lazy or maybe I have finally made it to reality, but on some days I just don't wear make-up. I woke up late this morning and sat down in front of the mirror and just said to heck with it. I'm not doing it. I tied my hair in a ponytail, put in a few clips to keep it out of my face and I went to work.

I could get used to this.

Sounds like my wife, generally her prep routine is check the mirror, and do what needs to be done, nothing more for work. Often times that's a spritz from a spray bottle to style hair and moving on. I'm jealous of that, I have chores to do out and about today. I have stubble. 50 hour old stubble, because of electrolysis, it bothers me.

I put gloss on in the car. I did that more because of the way it feels. I can wear lipstick now, so I do just because it makes my lips feel good

My daughter often just does some quick foundation, eye liner (she's good at it and quick), and a soft or neutral lipstick or gloss. She says she can be ready to run out the door in 5 minutes and I believe her. And she looks good too. I plan to ask her for makeup tips when I come out to her (soon but not quite yet).

Hehe

I'm chronically late. My dogs are always on the wrong side of the door. in/out/in/out/in/out... Drives me crazy. I have to let them out because if I don't and they have to go, it's my fault if they make a mess.

Anyway, I have gotten very good at putting on eyeliner and mascara while sitting at a light. It's actually pretty cool cause you know they guy in the car next to you is staring at you. :)

I love to where makup, especially love making my eye lashes as long as i can get them, but some times it can be a pain. I was with my therapist the other day and i started crying, talk about face runs :poster_oops:

But hay if you cac pull it off then go for it.

Lol, this is pretty much my daily routine now.

I'm trying to find a basic tutorial for makeup use. A book or website would be best. Something that covers basic selection and use of the tools. I've got a lot of mechanic in me so I keep looking for the manual when I try something new.
