Happy Holidays to Everyone, and A merry New Year.

I got a new job. One that is not so tied into the stock market. I start this Monday. After Thanksgiving. I will be running UPS trailors to Omaha NE., for the next 3 weeks, after that I will be running Fresh and frozen Foods out to Ca. Tx. Id. Nv. Og. Ut. Az., (sorry if any of these 2 letter states are wrong.) bascily the West coast. I will be making a little bit more money, doing so, and when the boss is running the Harvist season. I will be totaly in charge of where I will run, how far I will go, when I get home. He dose not want me to be out more then 10 days. He only has 2 trucks, and is planning to buy one more in about 2 weeks. B)

The bad. My laptop is down and out for the moment. The Tip for my power supply broke, on my pug.:(:banghead: Now I have to buy a new one from Tosiba.com, but if I want to have some entertament while out on the road. I need to spend a little money. The really bad is, all of my Maps, my log book, and everything else that I need is on my laptop. looks like I may just have to do everything the Hard way Untell the Power Supply comes in the mail. Hopefully I will be able to get some Photos here soon.

But anyway. Everyone Have a Safe Thanksgiving, A Merry Christmes, (as mush as I dont want to hear about that holiday, havent been shoping yet.) And A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Amanda!

Well, that is wonderful news! A new job is always exciting to start and in your case you get to travel and have time to sit and think..(unless that's not your thing) ^_^

Sorry to hear about your computer :( I go into melt down mode if my computer is down for any reason.

You stay safe out there and drive carefully.

Hi,

is the power supply that big deal?

We in europa have adapters for the cigaret lighter of the car to the notebook. I can not belive that you do not have same stuff in USA. So take a look to the electronic store to find one of this adapters. This adapters has different plugs for different plugs.

If the plug is still inside of the notebook (without the cable) it is possible to remove it.

It look like this:

Yes. I have been to a lot of computer stores They all have adaptors that will fit but they are anywhere from $150 to $200, I do not have that Kind of money right now. I do have a power converter in the truck that will allow me to use a home outlet for a cig. lighter.

I can spend $100 and have it overnight prioity to my house and it will be there on Monday or Tuesday. I have a adaptor but it dose not work. I am using it with the help of my mothers powercord. There is a little notch in the cord that is allowing to charge my bat.

Untell I get a new one then I am just out of luck.

Hey Amanda, be rilly careful pullin' them doubles, Babygirl. I pulled 'em for FedEx Ground and it's a bit of a diff. game, yu know? If ever your comin' up on a mean-donkey grade on bad winter roads, get nice n' slow by the point you hit that crest, apply some pad on 'er and keep it there LIGHTLY as you descend until your near the base. Doubles are just funky like that. I jackknifed up on Cabbage Hill in Oregon and I hate the thought of that happenin' to anyone else, especially if I had the opportunity to make even the slightest difference. Had I not managed to get that beast off in the happy direction and quickly off the road, I prob. wouldn't be sittin' here typin' atcha n' tellin' yu whatcha already know. Heehee! Anywho, coolness on the job score. Hope it works out well for yu. That's some rilly nice hometime you mentioned, you realize? Some truckers roll OTR for years before landin' a score like that. Lotz n' lotsa luck to yu.

I am an evangelical  I am also transgender.  This is an issue. I have read up on it.  I am not an expert, but I have done a lot of reading.   One thing I do not get about people who take that position is that evangelicals are all about salvation by faith alone by Christ alone by grace alone - unless you are transgender.  Then you cannot be saved, these say, unless you do the work of un-transgendering yourself.  Which is, practically, impossible.  I have read the "solutions" and I don't buy them, obviously, because they do not work.    In evangelicalism salvation is by faith alone, Christ alone, grace alone, without any merit of our own.  That means, to an evangelical, we come to Christ as we are,  in the words of a glorious hymn,   1 Just as I am, without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me, and that thou bidd'st me come to thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   2 Just as I am, and waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot, to thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   3 Just as I am, though tossed about with many a conflict, many a doubt, fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   4 Just as I am, thou wilt receive, wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; because thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   We do not clean ourselves up BEFORE we come to Christ.  We let Him clean us up AFTER we come to Him.    Those who insist that transgender people cannot be saved are actually preaching another Gospel, a Gospel of works, and have wandered away from the glorious Gospel into works.  That is strong but true.   Struggling with legalism and grace, I have found more of God's mercy and grace available to me because I struggle with being transgender and seeking His resolution of it.  Which, not having the struggle, I would not have needed to seek Him earnestly on this.

Eventually, (especially if you start T,) things will even out. The excitement you feel is from everything being so new. Finally knowing yourself and having others recognise you can be thrilling. However, because it is your natural state of being, eventually that wears off. There's nothing exciting about it anymore because it's "just you." (Which is a perfect thing to be!) This, however, can lead to disappointment. Trust me when I say however, that that disappointment and jarring reaction to wrong pronouns will go away, and you'll once again feel comfortable in yourself.

I love long hair. I'm wanting my hair to touch the floor. I guess we shall see how long it can get.

I wear a wig most of the time.  But I can get by with my natural (shoulder length) hair if I wear a hat or something to cover the mostly empty top. Unfortunately that train has left the station, sigh.

Oddly enough, just this weekend I read some of my poetry at a local event.  In this case it was a Pride group so I didn't have a particular advantage.  But I have read in more inclusive (of cis people) situations, and been fairly well received.  Let's face it, cis people do deserve an equal chance.   I suppose this might be a problem in the future.

Of course we do.  The few friends I do have are almost exclusively cis or trans women. I think I could have a relationship with a man, but he would be kinda "other" to me.  Could be interesting though. I never have understood guys - even when I was trying to be one.
