Do you love the feel of shoes[Pumps,Heels or Flats} when you are at home with your desires and your internal lover? Or do you prefer nylons, panties and bra only?

Depends on the time of day, which day it is, and if I feel that I can dress, even a little for a while.

If the opportunity arises, I'll be really happy to spend the (winter's) evening after work and it's dark enough to close the curtains to come home from work, draw the curtains and get fully dressed. That's bra, panties, tights, or stockings, blouse, skirt, wig and shoes and I LOVE the sound of my heels on the wooden kitchen floor! I seem to take twice as long to do anything then as normal, as I find myself carrying a cup from the cupboard to the table, then a saucer, or a knife, then a fork and so on!

Other times, like this lunchtime in fact, I've tights and panties on under my male trousers with my white heeled court shoes, but I will also have a pair of socks and slippers to hand, just in case the bell rings!

:P Court shoes - oh my goodness, so BRIT - I LOVE the idea of shoes at a formal gathering, with hats and gloves and a cold gentle rain... perhaps a fantasy, but that is what the name evokes - sigh. I wasn't aware of court shoes until I did a little researching. Elegant, simple, feminine...

In the USA - weddings take on that feel of glamour - ah weddings... the young girls new to heels, in those impossile shoes... so sexy on the dance floor it seems impossible that they aren't immediately swept off their feet and ravished. But the overdressed young males on the side, uncomfortable in tux - modern cut and cumberbun, oblivious - such fools.

Me on the side, my heart begging to be a young girl - aching to be one of these angels...

I can't enjoy the pink sherbert punch and overly sweetened cake, I an so enthralled...

But at home I have shoes.

Back home I can be me - court shoes - super high heel pumps - strappy backed open toes - anything goes... If I can find it in my size :D

Oh yes - nylons, panties and bra? Sure - but the shoes... ah the shoes...

And the clicking heels...

And how they make us walk just a hint differently... don't mince now dear... but dance across the floor in all the glory of womanhood

Yikes - we have it bad

Ah reality... yes

Cloud nine sitting in an early posting at Laura's... life is good

Its the real world that can be a bit hard... getting away for a bit keeps us sane, I think - I have to laugh.

Oh yes - I now wear flats most of the time, sensible loafers mainly - practical - but I still dream... HA! :P

at home...ballet slippers...plain black leather simple/elegant. It would have to be flats outside the house...unless I was around a lot of basketball players or Amazons...LOL...so I'll never be called tiny...hmmmm...thinking on it...I never was...maybe I SHOULD look for some heels...it's been a loooooong time for THOSE, Kelly Ann

At home I usually wear sandals or flip flops. Out, I wear either flats, tennis shoes or heels. It just depends on what I am wearing and where I am going.

I do it as the mood strikes me. One time cleaning the house, I wore a pair of jeans and a t-shirt with, ov course bra and panties with flats. I have also been in a dress to clean. Once in a year the summer was real hot I had a couple of pairs of shorts that worked quite nicely and t-shirts.

Otherwise just for lounging around even right after getting home, it is shower and straight into a nightie and panties and barefoot if I don't have to go anywhere.

Gotta love the shoes ^^

I usually where flats - i love wearing heels, but it can be a bit awkward sometimes when you don't want to put in the extra effort to walk - so i usually wear flats :)

Funny when I was younger I used to love wearing high heel ,now a nice comfortable pair of sandles with open toes are so comfortable.Plus they feel so feminine. Sensible shoes for now, and I am happy. I used to have a pair of woden Dr.Scholls that I loved and wore them from April thru Oct. I loved the clicking sound they made, and showed off my back side so well. Can't find them any longer.

Hey - looking at this old post... How did you people stand me! I was so outta orbit. :P

Okay - update SHOES  Flats now, my therapist likes my shoes, even. I am tall so I am CRAZY to wear heels unless its an extra special event.

But everyday? sensible heeled penny loafers - and most importantly I can also wear most of them to work - women's shoes, but not noticable - makes me able to combine 'out' at home, 'not out' at work, much better, head-case-wise. :D

And hey - I did an inventory last night after the bath - softer skin in some interesting new places... won't need heels to show off my legs after a while... gonna be that way natural like. I was worried about losing muscle, but it seems to be filling up with female distribution softness... Hey girls, there may be hope afterall... B)

And I like the idea of wood clogs. I had some YEARS ago - really nice to claaack claaack around the house - forgot about that.

If I'm just lounging around, I'll usually go shoeless. Although, I'll wear some nice heals while cooking and cleaning whenever the feeling strikes.

I actually did have a pair of 4" stilletto pumps once and almost put out my eye when I abruptly inserted my foot in my mouth :o , it happens occasionally  when I go into motormouth mode. Had a really nice pair of 3" ankle strap sandals too that had a larger footprint heel and they were easier to walk in for me...when the strap broke so did a little piece of my heart <sigh> Mostly I'm barefootin' (that was/is a fun tune to dance to) and keep my feet and slippers clean...er just in case...the Nude Nailpolish I've taken to using on my little piggies does taste better than bright red...dunno why. Gurning...er...learning to be more ladylike by the day, Kelly Ann

Its the dead of winter here. Around the house? cute sox and cute sweats and a t-shirt and usually a flannel shirt over that. I've got some cute sleep shirts now (before I "came out", I slept in boy-boxers and a t-shirt, but still they were cute).

When I first came out to Mom and Cathy, we did some dress-up practice, but it's still winter here, and NO ONE wears a skirt/dress unless they have tights on underneath. The first time I wore even a skirt in the house was a couple of nights ago when we went out to dinner and I was practicing sitting for a few minutes before we went out (and even then wearing tights underneath).

Maybe when the weather gets warmer I'll have something to report. By the way, in this part of the country, no one wears shoes inside the house.... sort of an asian influence around here.

Absolutely. Being able to encourage, to help, others is so empowering. I've been helped by so many people over the years, I love being able to pay it forward.

Good morning, everyone!!   A busy day ahead for me - need to cut the grass and then pick up the clippings. The grass grows so quickly this time of year. I cut almost 7 acres so that will take up most of my day. At least I can get some sun on my legs and arms!!   Time for another cup of coffee as I catch up here.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given.

I started shaving my legs years ago - I started getting an occasional mild contact rash on my shins. That became my excuse to shave them for both me and my wife. Over time, the rash didn't expand...but my shaving did. Full legs....groin......chest......and finally my arms. Keeping the rash at bay was my excuse until I came out to my wife. Now I typically do a full shave on Sunday mornings. The hair is lighter but I just feel better with it gone - it helps with the dysphoria and dysmorphia. I will also typically do a chest touch-up mid week since I notice the growth more there.   I wish someone would invent a pill that would stop hair growth everywhere except on your head.

Good morning.   im not sure where the time went.  I had a decent nights sleep,  didn’t  tell Alexa to let me sleep another 5 minutes,  I didn’t do anything extra but it’s almost time to leave and I just got here.  Definitely only a one cup morning.    I have the overhead console out of the Ford. It needed some repairs with toothpicks and glue.  Been sitting all night t for the glue to harden. I’m always to impatient with glue but not this time.  I want it to hold. Ok the next owner won’t be able to change the lightbulbs however in my defense, the are led so they will likely still work when the car goes to the salvage yard.   gotta go. Not as much on my plate at work today but it’s always busy.   Willow

Yes, my programmer friends and I think that antivirus software is a virus.  It's constantly searching your system and slowing it down.  If you install your own OS and software on your machine, and you make backups of your personal files, then you can recover from viruses in an hour or two.  My computer is 10+ years old and is working as good as the first day I had it.   As long as my computer is doing what I want it to do, I don't care if someone is spying on my system.

If you get a ticket, always say not guilty and go to court. Much of the time, the officer will not show up, and often the district attorney or the judge will not want to take the time. They ticket harvest because most people just agree to the fine and send them a check by mail.   If you are not a commercial driver, Most states also have a ticket forgiveness program. You take a little easy Driver's Ed Course, and it doesn't go on your record or increase your insurance prices. Explore your options!

Shaving my legs (very early on) was the first BIG STEP in my self-affirmation.  It also felt Real and Natural ... Finally (after all my years with fairly hairy legs). My wife was shocked but I think she thought it was 'OK' as long as didn't go any farther ... well that wasn't going to happen.  It was actually Step 1 of many to follow.  I did feel the need to hide it from others but eventually didn't care.  And, men shaving their legs is much more common these days. Home IPL (laser) made the hair removal permanent over the course of a year or so.  Whatever was leftover has been reduced to peach-fuzz by HRT. I don't deny or reject all my years living in the realm of cis-males ... it was part of my Journey to get to where I am today.  But since committing to HRT and living in an environment and community that supports my transition, I find it difficult to go back into Boy-mode.  The times that I do have to do that ... I can feel the dysphoria rising up again.  No going back ... at this point.

Congratulations @EasyE on your continued progress! I think it was about 6 - 8 weeks for me that I truly started to notice (and feel!) the changes.  They were not enormous (no pun intended) but I could notice my breasts were starting to plump up and my hips also.    fyi - I talked to my Provider a couple of days ago and based on recent labs agreed that I could start progesterone.  I did a LOT of research and after expressing any concerns with my Provider we both felt confident in starting.  I have been almost a full year of estradiol and I think my breast and other body changes have started to settle down.  Hoping the 'P' will give them another jump start. Thank you for sharing your progress.  I think you're going to be Happy with with the next couple of months brings

I have this one particular antivirus with the VPN, I thought I paid for everything to be activated, but it turns out to be I have basic protection and they want more money from me to turn it on. I wished the store salesperson told me this soon, I would have brought something else that has everything in it, not half protection missing lol

Hi @Mealaini - nice to meet you and Welcome! You have an important story and experience to share so I am happy you are open and willing to do that.  Also, I want you to know that this Forum was a very important part of my own Self-Acceptance and helped me navigate both my Progress and the Coming Out process to my wife, kids, and other family/friends.   It's not an easy Journey - sometimes it can seem slow and painful - but for most of us here, it's one that is essential to our Well Being.  I hope you have a similar experience as myself as you connect with others on this Forum and gain the benefit our each individual Experience and our Shared Humanity. Deep breaths ... One step at a time
