"but I might like some therapy, if I can find it (should be SOMEONE in NYC I could see...),"

There are plenty of gender therapists in nyc. I found Katherine (kit) Rachlin off the list on this site. She has been great for me to talk with. My wife, A and I had back to back sessions. It seems to have helped a lot. My wife is no longer saying she is going to throw me out. There is also the center on 13th street they have inexpensive counseling, support groups and partner groups. I have not been there yet. We are waiting to see how we can work things out. We are both socially avoidant but I think we will start going to the partners group in this coming year.

good luck

1. Off and on for the last 10 years or so since my early teens.

2. No, but had thought about it in the past when I was still figuring things out.

3. Being Female and Male each satisfy me in different ways. I know I could be happy in either direction, but settling for one side would be rough and I would miss the satisfaction and the experiences of the other.

OOPS I hit the wrong button anyways--Black rose WOW I have had those same questions you posted and have even wondered if eventually maybe my husbands crossdressing would lead up to more ???? Well I have to come back here and remind the SOs here that everybody is different!

Some will cross dress forever and be perfectly happy - that was where they needed to be!

Some will feel the need to live full time as a woman or man and that is where they needed to be!

Others will require the surgeriy and be where thier path lead!

Some will continue with a number of cosmetic surgeries (just like natals) trying to look perfect and that is where their path is taking them!

I would not feel that I was in the right place only dressing a little, living as a woman without the surgery, but beyond the SRS - my path doesn't like surgery and recovery, so if it ain't broke - don't fix it! I'll stick with this face - I'm kinda used to it - it doesn't look to bad with a little make up and a better hair style! :D

In other words - no one can know what the future brings, enjoy the now!

Love ya,

Sally

well said sally that is how i feel-- dwelling on the future and the unknown will only hurt us more. The present is what matters right now and I know for myself I am going to enjoy the love of my husband, our life and take each day as they come. jess

1. how long have you been crossdressing?

A. over 30 years now.

2. DO you like just crossdressing or are you aspiring to change your gender?

A. now, I really like just crossdressing. at times I gave a small amount of time to whether I wanted to change gender, but it just is not what I want to do.

3. Does crossdressing fill you?

A. when I can do it - YES! I can be stressed out about something, or tense and if I get a chance to XD, that tension just melts away.
