So...do I pass? I'm hoping that my % time passing will be better now that I've had top surgery. If one more person refers to me and my friends as "ladies", someone is getting popped in the head.

First, finish getting better. Then......Sounds like you're ready for a little social testing. B)

First, be alone, I figured out that sometimes passing and such is affected -both ways- by the company we're in. Go out, lookin dudified, and say NOTHING to anyone you encounter. See if you get ma' am'd or reacted to like a woman might -a door bein held open or somethin. If you do. Then you know its not the voice its something appearance wise doing it. If you get he'd, could be your voice screwing it up.

If it's not the voice though, next time go out and still say nothing but be stationary. Sit on a park bench/mall bench or something. You might even do something to "be in the way" so someone has to address you. If you get he'd its not the look then you know its movements or walk or something. I've been doin this over the last week trying to isolate my problem areas. Start paying attention to the circumstances (even mood) of when you pass and when you don't.

I'd gladly trade cookies for the lobster tail, Donna Jean. :) I wasn't a big fan of lobster. There was some icky stuff in there that I wasn't prepared for. Gross! Next time I will stick with just claw meat. Also, it might help if I knew how to cook it correctly.

Evan, I definitely will do some "field testing" once my drains are out and I am all better. I don't think it is my voice because it's dropped at least a little and wasn't too high pitched to begin with. We'll see though. I'm a man of science, so I will wait for the empirical evidence.

Thanks for the votes of confidence everyone. I'm sure things will get better the longer I am on T. Right now I am about to drive my friend crazy with the obsessing over new facial hair. She says my lip dirt is coming in nicely though. I've been growing that out all week.

More pics!

It's going to be so awesome to have these stupid drains out.

Hey you look great!

When you get better and have the drains out - you shouldn't have any trouble at all!

I told Evan in another post how to walk masculine - here's the short version: Women hold their hads above the waist a lot, walk with their arms swinging away from the body with the palms turned slightly out and they place their feet directly in front of each other and the toes point straight or slightly inward making the hips sway (Bet you never thought about that did you) - Men walk much stiffer let your arms drop to your sides, turn the palms towards your body and put on foot in front of the other at about shoulders width and point your toes slightly outeard - your hips won't sway and you won't look feminine at all!

I hope the soreness is going away.

Love ya,

Sally

Wow-whee!

I could have sworn you are that guy who used to live in the neighbourhood that I grew up in, especially the last photo!

But since that is nearly 30 years ago, I don't think you are.

Thanks to everyone mentioning it's a lobster in the first photo!

I have been puzzling, I thought it was some exotic decoration or a shoe that you fished up from some deep scary waters...

You look really good, so go with Evan's advice, find out which part of your guys life is 'non-passing'.

Ditto. I can only imagine you as a guy. And you definately pass in your pics. True, as a young dude, but still a dude. And that I think is true for all of us on our best passing day until there's some sign that the clean face only got clean cuz of shaving (unless you're like 20).

*blushes* That's awesome! Next time you see me I will be all dudely and stuff. It feels really good that my friends are doing better with the pronouns. Getting slapped down with a "she" is a real bummer. I understand that it is hard for people who've known me for a while..but still...it hurts.
