A few points.

1)this sounds really stupid.

2)An apology from the opera house over an event that hasn't happened but is still going to? Riiiiiight.

3) "Goldner also highlights the problem of individuals not of a particular minority putting themselves forward as representatives of that group.

She says: ‘My understanding is that Trevor is a gay man closer to drag than any wider sense of sex or gender identity. He is in no position to comment for people who do experience gender issues. He is not speaking from our perspective.’

Sally Goldner doesn't get to decide who is under the TG umbrella. It includes gender identity and expression. If it didn't, the definition would be 'some CDs' since many do not ID as female at all.

4)I'll sit back and watch the comments in a few days. "Overly sensitive hormone crazed person" I think is code for TG?
