Happy holidays!

MTF haven't come out yet except to one girl i had a crush on since high school that recently explained she's a lesbian, though she found happiness with someone else. Have been transitioning off and on for years stopping just before anything irreversible trying to make sure i'm doing the right thing and taking it slow. I'm quite sure i'm female for as long as i can remember. Parents found me having/doing many feminine things/actions; i'm quite sure they know something. I've been trying to forget it and just live life as male but my conscious doesn't permit it; kinda like the feeling of having something that doesn't belong. I don't pass off as gay and i'm attracted to females too. I don't take many pictures of myself. As far as how i feel, i am female except i look male and have male parts. Not so much trapped in wrong body but not matching what i truly am. Maybe i'm just weird. I'm conscientious and shy. I just started a new job in a career advancing position so i don't think i will fair well transitioning on the job.

I feel so alone.

Hello, Cristal!

Welcome to the Playground! Wonderful of you to come in. We want you to be comfortable as possible while you're here, so, cookies right there on the table, and hot coco on the stove...

shoes off (we pad around here in our socks) and have a comfy chair...

Wait til you meet some of the wonderful folks here...they'll be along shortly..

Don't be afraid to speak up, although, sometimes it's hard to get a word in edgewise with some of the more "exuberant" members... :P

Aw...we all love each other here...

Have fun...

We all have been trn and troubled, but somehow we have come throught o the bright sunshine and yes we are a bit confused, and wonder "how come, why me," at some point we realize Holy Cow how lucky we are to see liife from different views and different angles.

Believe me Cristal you are among friends here and we want you to join in and be part of the dialouge, us old ladies have been there and now we are done with the conflict and into acceptance. So talk some more...................My best Mia.

Looks like i don't have permissions to PM anyone or view my profile. I looked around to see if there was something i didn't do. Guess i could send an email but thought best to post reply here.

There's quite a few nice people on here and this seems like an ok site. I hope i'm in the right place!

Seems like this is pretty safe site! I really need someone to talk to. I kinda feel stuck.

Oh and i wonder if i goofed my name by having it lowercase and my gender selection thingy by choosing 'transgender' instead of 'mtf' when i joined.

Hi Cristal,

Sorry that I have taken so long to great you, I've been out!

I noticed that Donna Jean has offered you the refreshments and you've met Mia as well! :D

Lucky you to get a post from Raymond - he's really sweet, but he spends most of his time moderating in the FTM forums.

I would just like to help you with the way you feel about yourself, Mia mentioned being lucky to be able to view things from different angles - I;m going to give you the ever so positive sounding way to think of yourself!

You are Gender Gifted - now doesn't that sound nice? :D

You have a gift that others do not - you have lived a man's life and now you want to transition and live a woman's life, the one that you know is the right one for you. Single gendered individuals only have the one life - how boring!

In case no one has warned you about me, I tend to be very optimistic and deal with the most serious of subjects with humor.

None of that means that I don't care or take any questions seriously - I do! It's just my way of getting by.

Love ya,

Sally

LOL..

Yes, dear...we all so gender gifted that we can hardly stand ourselves! It IS truly a perfect way to see it (Sally, you're a genius!) and a perfect way to be!!

And here, all this time, I thought GG meant "Genetic Girl" :P

Good 'ole "Gender Gifted" Donna Jean

See even Donna Jean can learn on this site! (And she has been known to have her blonde moments - they can't be senior moments because we are the same very youthful age! )

Enjoy your time here, but one warning, while the snacks are all virtual and therefor calorie and fat free - the site itself can be addictive! :D

And there is no rehab center for that! But who would want one?

Love ya,

Sally

Hey - you have replies from some of the best people here on Laura's! We try to catch new members because it can be so terrifying to come to a site like this and not know what to expect. Me, I came here in November and now I am addicted to it - ha - it has helped me so much. ;)

Baby - you might just have come home!

So welcome-welcome- welcome. We hear your story - sweet - it's our story too. You are indeed among friends. So ask questions, make suggestions, be helped out, help others out - maybe we can make it through life and be happy, everybody on the site.. And don't be sad here - ain't no cause for that - we probably understand you better than anyone else - ha!

Me? I am 60 plus - but brand new at the same time. All my life I was a girl growing up in a male body, so I thought. My therapist helped me see the true me. So I am also married and have a wife who ain't too pleased, but is supportive. I too an not out to work and as I work as a professional, that is a real issue. I am out at home. :D

I am on HRT (hormone replacement therapy) and started three weeks ago. I am fortunate in not having male facial features, so I may get by without a lot of surgry- in fact, went out today and saw myself in a full length mirror at the restaurant - darn, kind womanly now - heck, very womanly now - must be my attitude - gonna be pretty obvious soon that something is going on. And I live in a small town- yikes. Out to my grown children... all thats positive.

Negative - well... everyone has negatives. I am 6'2" but I am older so I am aiming at a tall mature madame life, eventually (not that type of madame - Cristal, shame on you - ha!)

But ya know what? I am happier now than I've ever been. That's obvious in my silly posts - just can't help it... joy-joy-joy! :P

Sorry - blame it on the hormones - grin

And we are so optomistic, Oprah calls US for inspiration!

A heartfelt reply from another "gender gifted" individual (Cristal - sorta an inside joke - Sally just came up with that phrase and WE LIKE IT! - wow)

WELCOME-WELCOME-WELCOME :D

Dizzy Lizzy :P

It's been too long since I was there, but isn't the Hawaiian term for crazy - lolo?

I can't find my book on speaking Hawaiian! :(

it depends...pronouncing it really fast like lolo means smart and pronouncing it elongated like loh~ loh~ means idiot. :3

i think the word in Hawaiian for crazy is pupule...

...but I don't speak Hawaiian usually so I'm not the best person to ask for Hawaiian languages. :3 I know more Spanish (and definitely more Japanese) than Hawaiian. Muy loco :3

Back to the introduction....

I'm also just starting my career up as a filmmaker. Not a successful one yet of course, but I'm finally getting some jobs as an editing assitant. I haven't really come out either so...I'm in the same boat in that way. Hope we can both figure some way to be out and have a career though. :D My new boss kiiiiiiinda senses the feminine qualities and already covered the "I don't care if you *bleep* pigs or *bleep* guys so long as you're a good person and you can do the work," speech :P

That's interesting, you're so like me! I've been trying to teach myself Nihongo for a long time! I even wrote a program in C# two years ago to help learn the kana. I have a fluid speaking friend at work that thought it was good. I've been immersing in rosetta stone, music, movies, etc. I think i know as much of it now as i did Español. Oh and i dated that girl i had a crush on in high school but we drifted apart and last year she found me in Publix of all places and we started talking again but she recently got another girlfriend. I told her who i was and all that; she says she understands. I thought i was alone.

haha, yeah, that's the gist of how mine's went. We came out while talking on the phone and when we had a moment to be silent, we kinda both grunted in this funny "It all makes sense now" way. lol. A laugh later, we were friends again =P

Ooo, and if u need help with 日本語 lemme know :D

The numbers were not impressive really considering the magnitude of our largest counties.  The article does not say how many signatures were collected in the right areas or if the signatures were verified by the county ROV's.  The story is meant to be impressive and may sound that way to people in less populated political areas, but I am glad to say it turned out pretty weak.

Hi @Arushi, welcome to TransPulse and thanks for sharing. Your story sounds familiar to me in some ways: I used to go out dressed femme exclusively at night and received a lot of attention from guys. Back then I had no interest in them, mainly since their attention so often resembled sexual harassment. But that was 12 years ago and a lot has changed. Now I am exclusively into guys, and proudly trans.    You ask are you wrong to crossdress; I would say absolutely not. It sounds as if this urge comes from a place deep within you, and I doubt you could suppress it for long if you tried. You also describe no harms that have resulted from your crossdressing. But maybe the real question is how do you feel about it? Leaving aside the societal stigma that can surround crossdressing, do you feel there is anything wrong with your behaviour? And lastly, does your wife know? If not, then that may be a problem. But if so, then imo the problem is in not being open with your wife, not in crossdressing. Crossdressing is a morally neutral act.

I am opening up for the first time to someone other than myself. A bit about me; I am an Asian Indian male, 45 , married and dad, working professional from Portland. I have very mixed body features. I don’t have much hair on me and I wax so have a smooth body all over, light wheatish skin color, nicely done eyebrows and definitely size B manboobs, 6’2” tall and slightly curvy body, so I look like a tall woman when I am all dressed up. Growing Up; At a very young age , I got very intrigued with Wigs and Bra’s. I used to try on Bra’s starting age 14 and stuffed them up with socks. I used to roam wearing panties , and gown , usually taken off my dryers from my neighbors laundry. I remember this one weekend , I was all by myself and tried makeup for the first time and did my best , let’s just say it wasn’t bad for my first time. That was my best weekend being in woman clothing’s all day long around the house.  As I moved out of the house for college , I started freely and frequently cross dress, I bought my own silicone breasts , bra’s , panties  and dresses. I used to go to thrift stores and Ross, pick up the best in the lot, 44DD size and go into changing room and try them on with my Silicone boobs. I used to look for slightly worn panties , to make me feel I have been wearing them for ages. I got some cheap makeup, eyeliner, lipstick, foundation and the whole Shabang and 4-5 beautiful wigs. I had a closet full of items . Every Sunday, I would spend 3 hours dressing up , and sneaking out in public in my best woman attire, I used to get compliments all the time, many guys even approached me , I was flattered but never felt aroused for guys. Only when woman would stare , I would get a bulge .  Today: I still have a collection of cross dressing items and really good stuff from Sephora. I still cross dress and roam around in the streets of SF during my work travels (when I am off work) , you may run into me on one of my work trips. My wife and kids go on trips to visit my in laws for a month in summer, that’s when I am always dressed like a woman all around, with nail polish done too. I so feel in my element dressed as a woman. Sexual preference: I am into Woman, dominating woman that would control me, dress me up and take me on a girls night out. Make out with me in ladies room . Am I wrong in doing so? Should suppress my desires to cross dress?

Yesterday I appeared on Brisbane community radio station 4ZZZ discussing the Cass Review, the recent NHS-sponsored review of gender-affirming care for kids in the UK. This is a seismic event for trans kids and their families worldwide, or as I said yesterday, “a world-class piece of anti-trans propaganda”. I have researched this solidly for the past month and will have waaaay more to say on the topic, but for now I hope you’ll listen to this quick overview. The episode is available to stream as a podcast via Spotify and Apple Podcasts.   Trigger warnings: transphobic healthcare, sexualisation of children (touched on briefly, but it is upsetting).   My heart goes out to trans kids and their families in the UK and anywhere else these policies are being enacted.   https://open.spotify.com/episode/3LAHs3VZB8zuGWGt41rzaL?si=BRUHUvz3QmWr5cyCEYyB0Q&context=spotify%3Ashow%3A3Jay63nMJ67bBMI9M59tKe

No, though I am generally happy with my life. Transitioning later in life has left me in a position where I don't pass, and it sometimes confuses people, which makes me sad. I am able to live quite normally due to a supportive community, but I neither chose nor wanted to be trans, so I do hold a level of conflict with it. Early in my transition, my psychologist told me I needed to come to terms with my new role (but she had no advice how to do this) or I wouldn't find peace, and I doubt I ever will. I have learned to live with this, and I am trying to make the most of my time, but true peace and happiness has eluded me.   Hugs,   Allie
