hello my name is Blaire Ruth, you can call me blaire.

I'm 52 years old and i just had the best year of my life. in 2008 i found out who i am, more on that later, found out that family and close friends were willing to stand by me thru this time in my life.

ok, last jan on my birthday i started therapy for my gender issues. the previous year i had attempted to kill my self because i just couldn't take the internal war anymore. luckly i was not successful and a new friend i had met online suggested i find a therapist to talk to. not being comfortable around men at this time i looked for a woman. i found one who turned out to be one the sweetest human beings i have ever come across. she insured me i was not crazy or going crazy and so we started our relationship and my therapy. she is a friend as well as a therapist to me. she introduced me to another wonderful woman who has also become a wonderful friend and mentor. she is post-op trans and a source of encouragement.

anyway back to who i am, i started on hormones therapy in aug. of 2008 and the war inside of me ended. seems my femm side found an "A bomb" of sorts in the form of spiro. when the testosterone went away so did the struggle inside, however the estrodiol amd progesterone have made me happier than i have ever been. ok it's not those drugs it's the fact that i am now becoming that person i always wanted to be. who i should have been born as. but i am happier today than i can remember.

i am a born again faith believing christian, however i will not preach at or to anyone. but that is a part of who i am. i call God Daddy and he calls me his little girl and has opened doors for me. such as, no one has rejected me when i came out to them. i thank him for that. ok enough of that

i know that i am not a beauty queen and will probably never be one, but i do hope to get some FFS soon as well as new teeth. and of course a trip to Trinidad is most definitely in my future.

I'm a 57 year old fellow Texan, I am so happy for you, I wish that I could say that things have gone as well for me, but that is another story.

I am so glad that your attempt was unscessful and that you are here now.

It's a little on the warm side in Texas right now, so instead of the hot cocoa and cookies, I'll offer you some peppermint ices tea and some homemade brownies!

Take all you want virtual food, while comforting, has no calories or fat!

You know you can get your drivers License changed

If you find a sypathertic clerk, and explain your situation as transsexual

And have the proper letters from two therapist and a court order from a judge

And explain that you really don't want to spend the rest of your life, miserable with the indication on your Drivers Licese.

And it is used as an ID by everyone and it is soooo embarrising...

Well... with all that - maybe a simple little erasure here and a simple little addition there...
