How long can "going stealth" last?

Heya guys/girls! ^_^

So by making this topic I wanted to ask you when do you think is the line when you no longer can go "stealth" (and by stealth I mean transition but still pretend and be in a "boy-mode")?

I myself live in a country where it's pretty hard being transsexual, too few people live here and the LGBT community is scarce and you can't undergo HRT or SRS here cuz the laws don't allow and don't approve of sex change and transsexuals are regarded as mentally sick people... Soo yeah you might get the point of why I'm going "stealth" =o

So I just wanted to hear some of your thoughts and maybe suggestions of how I can still be stealth, but also feel good about myself, cuz sometimes I feel very depressed about how limited I feel in this country...

Here's me today @ my school. Did I cross the "going stealth" line and people can tell, or do you think I'm still somewhat passable as a boy?=d

I think you look fairly androgynous in a pretty sort of way. I don't know how androgyny is viewed there, but it seems like a safe line to walk, at least it is where I live.

It's really hard to see the Man... But i am sure if you talk in a Deep voice people will follow you by calling you Him/He and seeing you as one.

At best i would save up money and get the !@#$ out of there

Young male, look 15 but your profile says 22. Careful because too young male for real age = male fail.

I can go along with the androgynous look, hon. Change the hair style around and maybe more towards the male side.

Hey thanks for the suggestions so far!: ) Well I do hate looking male.... >.< but sometimes I gotta pretend.. ehhh... I'd like to just pass as a boyish lesbian cuz that's how I identify myself as.

If being yourself is going to cause you to be arrested and prosecuted, I would seriously look at ways to move to another country. And you look very androgynous in that photo but with the right visual cues, you should be able to continue to present male successfully. Consider things like a very male looking wristwatch to add emphasis.

I was just reading about Lithuania. Seriously? Almost sounds like the state of Texas moved to the EU. I hate to see any one be something they are no because they have to go underground to be safe. Nostros, got a few questions for you...so I understand this correctly. In your country...are the IDs of transgendered people marked that they had GRS? That is what I am gathering from what I am reading. What are the exact restriction that have been placed into law that are affecting your happiness?

Thanks. I am totally disgusted that you or any trans in another country are suffering because of the laws created by some small minded waste of skin on planet earth.

Hey Nicole! Thanks for your support!

Well I think you can get the regular "F" in your passport/ID card but you must have had SRS done (which is not allowed in this country, so you have to go do it somewhere else and also you can't get the psychotherapist approval here since it would mean that they would loose their license if they would approve of that and if they would prescribe you HRT since transsexualism here is either not treated at all or treated in some asylum...) anyways if you even do get SRS in some other country and then return here to have your documents changed then you have to take them to court (the government) and then they make a big fuss about it and the news media then take photos of you and make articles in the newspapers and stuff... soo yeah)

I have been seriously shocked regarding Lithuania. I had absolutely no idea. Lithuania ans Scotland have such strong links but scotland is so Liberal. Lithuania is still a young democracy so perhaps in the near future things will start to thaw out.
