I got a pretty 'straight' body...as in I don't think I have many curves. Which is great in helping me pass. Sadly, that also implies that I have a very small, fragile looking body. My skin is also very soft. My skin should get tougher after more time on the hormones, and Ill get abit more muscles but my body will always stay on the smaller side.

Sorry for invading your thread! B)

Glad to have you here, I'm always in the FTM Forums and that was before the excuse of being a moderator!

My therapist gave me a whole list and although I am very tall and at the moment at least 145 pounds over weight, my facial bone structure is more feminine (Baby faced is the term males use), I have very full lips, no brow ridge at all, and not much of a jaw line, very narrow, she also refered to my 'cute toes' (she never wears sandals because of how her feet look and she says that mine look better than hers) - my electrolosyst told me that I had feminine hands and I can wear a woman's watch by taking in the band and that while I'm still over weight!

It all looks pretty good for transitioning completely and passing even at my height!

Love ya,

Sally

Sorry for the flippant response above .

I have always had wide hips "a girls bum" was the comment I remember from high school . I don't have thin lips and my hands and fore arms are slender . Although most people think I am thin I am more fleshy rather than muscular in fact it is fairly hard for me to bulk up so I stopped lifting any weights along time ago . Some mannerisms such as the way I cross my legs or hold my head with my left hand at rest are definate give aways and the leg crossing has been commented upon as well when I was younger . Oh yes I have long legs and normal trunk

Male physical would be large feet .

I have been read as androgynous and mistaken as gay for years so when I started coming out it was just to set the record straight (no pun intended)

yes I was lucky to have feminine hands, arms, legs, feet and facial features. Unfortunately I made the mistake of weight training when I was younger and didn't seriously think about transitioning. So I developed a manly (but not big) physique and when I transition I'll have to slim down. I think its doable-it'll just take more work.

I regret not having gone through it in my early 20s when my body could've been more easily changed to female (now I'm in my 30s). Hopefully I'll get to begin my transition within a few months-I'm dying to get it going. I'd start now if I could but I have to sort out some major things in my life first.

I am very thin, but not disgustingly so (arms, legs, torso - I weigh 103 lbs), I have very little muscles, i have feminine hands, I don't really have a masculine face, I am not particularly tall (5'8" I think), and thats all i can think of.

Sadly, I have absolutely no hips :(, but other than that (and no chest, and my parts) I can't think of anything else masculine about myself :D

Oh, my...lets see.....

Well...

5'-7" and 135 lbs which is a good place to start from......wife gets PO'd 'cause I'm smaller than her and now I've inherited some of her clothes that she can't wear :P (she always bought nice stuff when she was my size)

I've got small hands which has always been a curse for playing guitar..but hey...now it's nice..small feet, too...

My manerisms and actions are all going female...and I'm sure there's been a few wonder if I was gay...Nope!

Just Gender Gifted!

I'm transitioning from Female To Male:

Female side:

Small Feet

Big Eyes

Male side:

Hairy

Wide shoulders

Naturally Muscular (without too much exercise)

Low amount of body fat

Not very wide hips

Adam's Apple

I think it's natural to look for things in yourself that are the gender you should have been. After all, the line between "male" and "female" is very blurry. Society wants us to be THIS if we are male and THAT if we are female, but the beauty in humanity is that we are all different!

Love this topic! Where have I been???

I know the following is too long and no one cares anyway - but it was interesting for me because I had never run an inventory. :P

Girl side face: my therapist said i wil make an attractive woman, but big.

no really male facial features, not much brow, no large chin

narrow nose - feminine already

dark natural semi-curley hair - full head at age 60+ no balding

Woman's forehead shape

High cheek bones - again feminine already

Almost black color eyes - which I think is a plus

Pale skin

Good complexion - no large pore problem - no acne scars - few wrinkles

Medium size ears - just passable - and they are pierced

Adam's apple doesn't show

Extremely light beard, none at all on by front cheeks - should be easily removed

Boy side face:

Extreme underbite - but both my daughters inherited it and they survived

Bad upper teeth profile - not a good female smile for showing teeth

nose profile a bit stark

Brows - but they are un-tweezed and that will change

Face neutral problems:

Some minor facial scaring from a bike accident - can be repaired

Neither full nor thin lips - goes either way

age - not too bad, but need to lose the neck wrinkles

medium size head - goes either way

slight asian double fold lids - American Indian heritage - bad for eyeshadow

Girl Body:

some natural breast development

very womanly legs and thighs - best feature right now - long shapely legs like a model

good pale skin

good toes - pretty

no body hair - really unusual - a bit in the lower legs and lower arms

tall but not broad skeleton structure - really almost small boned but lengthy

I am tall in the legs, which gives me my height - but average sized above, so I wear average women's clothing except for the inseam when buying pants

I am capable of skinnying down in size and still looking okay

Somewhat girly muscle structure

finally - no beer belly anymore

Boy body:

only some breast development

medium hands - nail size okay but could go either way

long narrow feet but proportional to my height

extremely tall for an average woman at 6'2" - worst problem

medium male voice - really needs work

I was never extremely maculine in the body

medium wide shoulders

hatchet butt

Is there HOPE??? Donno

Hatchet butt????????Does that mean you get the ax in a barroom situation. :D Liz you make me laugh.

My male parts, thinning hair  wide hands. big shoulders, deep chest, body hair, big adams apple, thin upper lip, currugated forehead

Female parts long fingers. great legs( 23 yrs of competeive cycling,) tight butt( well formed ){hatchet??] slight breast development, A Cup, blue-violet eyes with extra long eyelashes, full lower lip,and a heart  the size of Sally's home state............ :D

Another FtM... I'm also being very self-critical here - others might not even see it that way.

Female side:

pointy chin

snub nose (*pukes*)

chubby cheeks

not a lot of body hair (except for the legs)

not really wide hips, but notably female

only 5'7" in height

full lips

I talk a lot and fast

Male side:

glove size XL, generally male hands

shoe size 9 (US men's)

very muscular (thank you, grandpa... I inherited it from him via my mother)

pretty wide shoulders

already (without T) a receding hairline, especially at the temples

generally a male forehead

visible adam's apple

pretty deep voice

dark and thick eyebrows

cleft chin (it looks very manly on me at least)

slight bow legs ^^ comes from soccer, I guess

Sally's from Alaska? :P

Hatchet butt - skinny and projecting.

Yes I think our best MTF feature is our big compassonate hearts - we see it here in the replies at Laura's so much.

HEART! Ah Mia - We transsexual peoples need to have those big hearts to hold all that comes our way. Yet we always seem to have room for the problems of others. Fortunately, research shows women are unique as we relieve stress and grief by crying. This results in a chemical reduction and elimination of certain stress hormones. So when we cry over the lost and hurt, we are only enlarging our capacity to hold even more.

So sob away - people - its your patriotic duty (where did that come from?)

Liz losses it - mark the time and date.

Blue-violet eyes? Ya gotta be something girl. Mine are cow poop dark brown.

I've always found that as long as I was slimmer, I took on a more male look.

I have found that these things have not changed no matter what my weight

very little eye brows and almost no body hair other then (you know)

a multitude of stray hairs on my chin and jaw line

broad shoulders

medium to low voice

high cheekbones

decent jaw line

9 1/2 -10 size male shoes

medium strong hands

medium to high laugh

low growl

Girlish side:

5'4" tall

cute butt

small feet size 6 in mens, 8 in womens

nice legs

Boyish side:

thick eyebrows

deep voice

barrel chest

huge arms (still can bench over 200lbs and haven't lifted seriously for 15 years)

I think I have decent legs and a butt that would pass. Heehee!

I've been told my face would need little work.

Can't argue with my height at 5'6", I guess?

Sometimes I can still fit into a size 9 shoe. Yeehah! I love it when that happens.

Much to my dismay, I would likely look like that little thick jock-chic that played softball and basketball in high school.

I absolutely abhore my God-foresaken Popeye forearms too. If they develope a muscle stripping procedure I'd prob. opt. 4 it.

I want smaller hands with slender fingers.

I started estrogen (oral) a little before age 50 and not the maximum dose either and also no blockers. It almost immediately accentuated the feminine features I already had, and expanded my already soft areas of skin, widened my hips and distributed more fat to my thighs and increased my breast size. There seem to be some subtle changes to my face too though I doubt I am any more passable than I was a decade ago, it’s just nice to not use breast forms anymore. I haven’t switched to injections as planned and there really hasn’t been much change after the first 6 months and my body fights back; my E levels dropped and T increased even on the same dose so it has not really done much for me. It sounds like injections are the far better way to go, plus progesterone after a while if the doctor will prescribe that.    As is often said, everyone is unique and one’s mileage may vary, and what works for one person may not for another.

This is so sad. The violence in general in Washington State seems to have ramped up a lot, and gender-based violence and hate crimes seem to be worse as well. My parents once lived in Renton but I don’t care for that city and never go there. I don’t think it really matters though as crimes like this can happen anywhere and often are perpetrated by a male who was in a prior relationship with the victim.

I’ve never been in therapy specifically labeled as such, butI think IFS therapy evolved from treatment of dissociative identity disorder in which one’s various alters or parts are treated as an internal family, and each part is like a separate individual who can be spoken to individually or have dialogue with other parts. In a person with full DID, doing that supposedly helps to break down the dissociative barriers that cause that person to not be able to remember what they did for parts of a day or longer. This was the case with me.   Anyone’s mind, though, can be thought of as being compartmentalized to some extent and we all can have an inner child and various aspects of our selves, yet the dissociation is never to a degree that it causes problems like with DID. But the same aspects of working with an internal family or different aspects of self, like the inner child, the rebellious teen, the persecutor parental type, etc, can help heal trauma nonetheless. I think many of us do have sides of us that we don’t like, or others don’t like, and it can be useful to examine how they came about and what purpose they serve as they are often a means of self-protection or coping with anxiety.

We had soup and steamed rice for dinner tonight.  Simple, basic, feed-a-ton-of-people kind of food.  With strawberries for dessert!  We have a huge strawberry patch, so I spent a couple of hours this afternoon picking.  And there's some left over, which I put in the downstairs kitchenette.  Time for a late night snack!     Outside of meals, I mostly live by nibbling on fruit and a few green things.

Well, it is officially summer.  85 degrees outside the last two days, and GF is sick and irritable.  I have to curl up under heavy blankets in my nest, because she's got the AC turned down to the point I expect to see icicles growing on the ceiling.  This is what life is like when your partner is an arctic creature. I should be used to it by now, but just when I think its nice and warm, she has to freeze me.

I just can't resist.  Does all that mean that.............the bird is the word?

Well, that might be interesting.  At least since she's 24, its not like you're on the hook for expenses.

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.
