Early Greek belief systems

Does anyone follow any of the Greek deities?

Personally, the few times I use a name in prayer I pray to Nyx, the Greek deity of old. (I am not one to pray to an individual deity, I am more of an interfaith believer myself, but when I do pray to an individual deity, personally I choose this one)

Just was wondering, for those who follow the older religions and belief systems, which deity do you pray to? And if you like to share, why do you feel that one fits in your life.

For me, Nyx, the Goddess of the Night who hides in shadows, watching over all, fits my life, both past and even present (although I don't hide in the shadows as much anymore, I do continue to watch over others). Personally she (although she is a loose term in referring to her, general pronoun usage is female but she is more of an embodiment of neither sex) resonates with me, mind, body and energy.

Just curious if anyone else follows her, or another of the Greek (or other early belief systems) deities.

*hugs*

P.s. Moderators, if I placed this in the wrong category I apologize, let me know which one is appropriate please (although it is not a pagan belief system, except in the Christian system where all non-Christian beliefs are 'pagan')

I've always felt a connection to Pandora, though she was not a god really, and I've never prayed to her. Thrust into a life she didn't want, reviled for what she was... I mean, sure, she was the key to opening all evil in the world, but that wasn't by her choice.

@Maria_B that is an interest choice, Pandora was one of my favorites in mythology for the very reasons you listed as why you felt a connection to her. All we can do is our best, just like her. Thank you for responding and sharing *hugs*

@Mia J Thank you for the advice, I will repost this in the pagan thread later. As I had said, I wasn't sure of the appropriate thread to place this in, I had thought the Other Religions and Beliefs was the best category, but I am sorry for being mistaken *hugs*
