Anyone order a packer from them? I'm looking to buy a new one. I went from completely hating stp fitz, to wanting one from urimate, and deciding on getting one from dj dicks but I found the transitional male site for packers and have now gone to undecided because I really really like theirs. They custom make them for you and I just wanted to see if anyone had anything to say about them.

Well, I just put in a request for an STP from them (the one with out the packer). I'll let you know what kind of customer service I get, etc. If I'm impressed I'll probably order a packer later.

i think all these devices are very uncomfortable and difficult to use - you know a lot of bio guys sit or squat to pee because they dont like to use urinals, they have a bladder problem, they have a gold ring in their foreskin which makes then spray pee everywhere - when i lst began all this, i thought it would be the ultimate to stand and pee but really it isnt, but good luck with your trials.......ive not found one which you can feel comfortable wearing and quite honestly, after a while, it ceases to be important - well at least to me............. ;)

Sorry I can't help. I found making my own works best for me. I have to use one every day hiking and can't afford to have failures or discomfort out there several hours from home. I also have to use an STP because squatting in the woods with hidden tree stands and game cameras around is just not an option for me. Not to mention the more male my appearance the safer I( am roaming the woods alone.

Please let us know how whatever you decide on works.

Yeah I put in a request too, and have yet to hear a response. I guess we shall see!

I can't go without one lol. I just feel "empty". I like the feeling of something being there, it makes me feel whole. I guess everyone is different.

Nick runs a very good web site at the Transitional Male. And, he's been out in our community for years, way before a lot of these other guys that are running around spouting stuff. And, if you need your new underwear fixed to pack, he can do it for you. I bought some stuff from him quite a few uears ago and he was very accomodating.

................i dont mean i dont pack - i also would feel something was missing, ive got so used to it - i pack all the time, except when im alone i bed or in the shower, but dont use a STP, simply because they are uncomfortable and unless you need to "go" when youre outside, then not really necessary, though i understand that some f2m's see standing up to pee as a part of their passage (pun intended) - well you gotta laugh too - i was living in a tent on the beach in Andalucia, southern Spain, just for a while, just before having my chest op - well the missus and i had been having a good old time drinking the local vino and i was so sozzled, i forgot i had breasts and was walking to the showers with a towel around my waitst - i think in the back of my mind, i must have been simply ignoring my physical state, a bit of wishful thinking, lol! - but also, later, (several bottles later) - i also thought I'd pee up against a tree - again, so sozzled, i also forgot i didnt have a penis, so it went all down my leg - i prefer to look at the lighter side of my "difficulties" - and still laugh about it today............having said that, when i was a kid, i used to stand on the toilet rim and stand to pee - that way worked - but being older, i would probably lose my balance and fall in the hole - but at home, when i have no clothes on i can, if i hold myself in a certain way - apply pressure with my stomach muscles, make water come out in a kinda fountain - till it gets to the last drop, when theres no force, then its a bit tricky, so i ony do that now and then.

Unfortunately I don't have a great bladder-a result of childbirth problems - but have had to learn a few things other guys learn about standing to pee as toddlers. Like making sure which way the wind is blowing, the slant you are standing on, and exactly where that shirt tail is in relation to your equipment and not losing focus as it were ( I can be a day dreamer and mentally wander off at times when an interesting idea strikes). Has made me cringe and laugh more than once

Kinda nice to find a place I can mention it. That is one subject my family does not want to hear anything about.

I must have not read your last post right lol. But your story is hilarious. I always forget I was born female, until I take off my clothes, and when I remember, its always disappointing :(

I would have never thought about the wind myself, which is probably something that should easily be known lol. The problem I have is, is the way I am standing. I tend to push my hips forward in order for things to work better, and I still have problems controlling flow because I leak at least 70% of the time.

Leaking was a problem for me till I found the right kind of end that works best for me. Nothing but the medicine spoon works and now that I have found a way to make a soft end just like it, so those eye watering pinches are a thing of the past, it's all good. Leaks, when you are away from home shopping all day or a couple of hours hike from home with weather in the teens, just isn't something I can live with. The cheapest way to find what works best is to get a Playtex baby nipple, a medicine spoon and one of the cheaper whiz things on ebay along with some latex tubing from ebay and work with them till you find what works. ( I made a couple of threads about making STPs with more specific info. They are in the FTM forum). I'm really financially challenged right now-far worse than any time in my life-and just couldn't afford to buy different STPs till I found the right one.

I do remember when I was first trying to use an STP and using the wrong kind for me and had leaks. It would seem to work sometimes and then suddenly fail or leak. I felt like throwing myself down and having the full blown temper tantrum of the small boy that the failures made me feel like. Wanted to give up too because it made me feel worse and not better about my situation but that wasn't an option with the hiking and I finally got it worked out. I wonder if we all don't go through a time like that but find it hard to bring up or talk about?

He got back to me quickly.

I've tried the medicine spoon and it doesn't quite work, so I ordered his larger option, and the silicone tubing (I have latex allergy), with the removable catcher option so I can change it out if needs be later myself.

I'm not ready to pack, but want to have the hang of the STP by the time I go camping next month. I hate porta potties.

hmm you think I should put in another request? I haven't gotten any kind of response.

i have yet to try the medicine spoon. I've tried the nipple style which didn't work at all for me and am now using he whiz which tends to leak here and there. I'm wondering now if the medicine spoon will be a better option for me.

i had a hystorectomy ih l996 because, after 2 episiotomies , my insides were practically falling out - they made such a mess of me with 2 difficult births, but after the hysto and repairs, i was lucky it didnt affect my bladder - I have come to the conclusion that stp's are just too much "bother" - as ive said before, lots of bio guys sit or squat to pee, male toilets here are usually a nasty experience anyway, they stink and in a pub or club on a busy night, you find you are ankle deep in other guys urine - i have been known to urine in a bottle to avoid them, but when i misjudged just how much i needed to pass, it has overflown, lol..............sometimes, seeing the funny side of these things helps

Another tale i would like to relate was, when i was a dragking, in the late 1990's and early 2000's, one of my characters i invented was Little Billy London, he was a 12 yr old orphan from the east end of London and lived in the "workhouse" - where people went in Victorian times if they were homeless and starving, My song and dance routine included some very risque jokes and songs - including "the little boy that Santa Clause forgot" only instead of the treacly words my mum used to sing to me, because Little Billy London was also a transboy and the gig ended with this song - the words went like this: I wasnt on T then and had a very high soprano voice.......so could make my voice very boyish (wrinkles were a bit of a probem - lol)

Im the Little Boy that Santa Claus forgot

And Goodness know, I didnt want a lot

I sent a note to Santa for a penis and some testicles

It broke my little heart to find

He'd finished all his calls

In the street I envy all those lucky boys

All urinating up the wall with so much joy

Dont feel sorry for this Transgender - (then I pulled the apple from my pants, bit into it and threw it into the audience)

Ive ony got a Fanny...................

Im the Little Boy that Santa Claus forgot................

We have a automatic naughty word filter that will alter most four letter words.

i never use 4 letter words Mary Ellen, not even at home, I dont use bad language at all - it wasnt one of those it was "pis---g" which is used on all trans and butch/femme sites - i.e. Pis---g packer etc and isnt, so far as i know, a swear word.......?? but i shallnt use it again as perhaps its a naughty word in the U.S. which i wasnt aware of and i certainly wouldnt want to offend anyone - anywhere!

The most altogether brain free method (might even work if you were drunk-- not that I recommend it) would be the pstyle. No way is it really great for discretely carrying in your pocket. OTOH, if you got the clear one, no way would anyone have any idea what it is. Get off amazon as it is quite a lot cheaper. It would be there for you when hiking and you won't be missing. It would fit easily in a day pack.

Also the fenis/mr. fenis is good. I think like all those other silicone jobies it depends on how you hold it.

Practice an stp in the shower as ymmv.

I've been practicing in the shower or in my own loo. I tend to miss the spot with the medicine spoon, usually when I think I've got the hang of it and gone to practicing in clothes.

Aaden, Did you send a follow up text confirming your order as requested? He answered my text pretty quickly.

No, I didn't. That was probably my problem lol. I can't get back to the number. I'm just gonna redo the request, and let him know what I did, so that it doesn't seem like I'm just submitting a lot of requests.

I sent him the text message and he responded with "congrats on your surgery. I have a new phone please give me your last name so I can add you to my contacts. "

Thats just weird. I didn't even say I had surgery?

Hello we are The lake. So called because This One has not determined a name for oneself but has in a way created an environment to try out multiple names as different people. Currently Some of us use she/her pronouns and one uses he/him. We hope to learn more about being transgender and the intricacies involved. Once again it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance and we hope to be of further help in the future.

https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-politics-and-policy/18-states-sue-biden-administration-transgender-worker-protections-rcna152239     When the R's are in power they love having the EEOC promulgate rules favoring employers.  But when the D's are in power, they just hate it when the EEOC makes or enforces rules that favor employee rights; most especially trans employee rights.  Then it becomes "government overreach."  Funny how that works out.    Carolyn Marie

Wholeheartedly agree.  Whether a compliment is backhand or forehand, I take it gladly.  They are offered rarely enough these days.    Carolyn Marie

Wow, a shop that actually respects a customer's truck?  That seems like a miracle!  My husband does most of his own work, because he really, REALLY hates people who mess with an interior, with grease spots or footprints.  His personal truck is old, but super clean.  And since he's the transportation manager for his company, he's pretty picky about people respecting company equipment.  "Take care of it, and it will take care of you" is the motto.  Drivers should be able to go through a DOT Level 1 inspection without worry.
    • awkward-yet-sweet
Literally the word means "hatred of women" and so I don't think that's quite the right description for what you encountered.  Possibly chauvinism?  Or maybe just not wanting to bother somebody he figured wasn't interested or capable of doing the job?  Who knows.   But on the other hand...be glad you're passing
    • VickySGV
Finally found a site that gives the definition of defemination as a process of loss of feminine characteristics or continued loss of them.  Not a word I would use every day, although I can see where it would be a problem for some who value those feminine characteristics.  Yes I have seen it happen and now get the idea, and yes, not in so many words, but yes I have been up against others who do put down my femininity as being a pseudo female at the most polite and I cannot use the words hear for what it is at the worst.   Online, there is little to do about it except leave and block the people who do it and the places it happens, since it affects you much more heavily and negatively than it does the person doing it, and you need freedom from the stress.  The rules here which our "powers that be", namely the staff say we do not put up with members denying the authentic identity of other members.
    • VickySGV
I still maintain my "male" skills and almost have to laugh when that sort of thing happens to me with Cis males, and it does happen.  On the other side there, I have activities with the Trans community  here where I live including Trans Men who love to show off their new lives.  I have had a couple come over to my house and I have done some shop teaching that is always fun.  When they offer to help me by doing "male stuff" in a group, I do not take it as misogyny .

This guy asked me to help with his tire.  So when I turned around and he saw that I'm a woman he's like,  oh nevermind

I think that’s an important point. In my case, I’ve found transitioning to be such a relief and a joy that I have no difficulty focussing on the positives. Maybe in your case you could make a practice of noting when you are gendered correctly? Do you keep a journal? I find doing so is major help.   After saying I rarely get misgendered, it actually happened to me yesterday in a local store. After recovering from my shock (the salesman called me “brother”, which to me is about as bad as it gets) I wrote my first complaint letter to a business w/r/t misgendering. That felt good. I also reflected that, to a degree, for those of us who don’t pass, I think gendering is correctly can take a conscious effort. Some Folks seem to automatically see me as feminine, others have to work at it. So if you’re often surrounded by people who have no desire to work at it, that may exacerbate your problem.
    • Betty K
I don’t know why anyone would go to the effort of advocating for trans folks only to charge people to read their articles. It seems so counterproductive, and I seriously doubt they’re making more than pocket money out of it.
    • KathyLauren
Oh, how I wish we were over-reacting!  But I don't think we are.  The danger is under-reacting.
    • Ivy
I understand your feelings. I have the same fears.  NC has made a swing to the right as well, and I'm not optimistic.  I want to tell myself I'm over reacting.  But seeing what these people are  saying, and doing when they do get into power can't be dismissed.  It's proof of what they will do if they take over the federal government. I'm getting kinda old now anyway.  It took me over 60 years to get here, and I'm not going back.  I suppose they can revert my gender markers, but I will still be legally Ivy.  And I have every intention of dying as Ivy Anna.  If I can't find my hormones somehow, I'll do without.  The physical changes I do have are permanent.   Trans people have always existed.

@KymmieL I think we all have had to deal with a person who would not apologize when they were wrong no matter what.  In my case it was my MIL. Actually called me a lier I front of my wife.  Even when she realized she was wrong she wouldn’t admit it to my wife, nor would she apologize to my wife for any of the things she later admitted she had done that affected my wife.  I had a boss that accused me of saying things I did not say in a manner I did not use.  Even another employee told him that I had not said the things nor used the words but he still refused to back down.     Unfortunately, all too many people in this world believe they are always right no matter what.  Some are very famous.  lol   Willow

I wish I could cope as well as others. I feel very defeated in that all of the consideration, and then treatment to transition, could all be wiped out by this time next year with the united effort by the R party to eradicate all that is transgender. I fear that the national election could turn out to our detriment, and we will face a national push to eradicate us. Tracking us down will not be that hard to do. Once they know who we are, forcing the legislation to reverse our name changes, gender marker changes, and other records, will not be that hard. We saw an example when the AG in Texas was data mining the driver licenses for those who had gender marker changes. Who will we appeal to? The Supreme R Court? We would have an easier time trying to convince a Russian court.    We need to get out and vote in November. There is not enough Ben & Jerry's to improve my outlook on all of this. In some ways it is a cruel thing in a way. In the early 1930s, Germany was working hard to hunt down the LGBTQ population and eradicate it. Now Germany has better protections there than we have in many of our own states. About 90 years ago, Germany was seeing the rise of their very own dictator...Now the US is on the verge...Oh never mind. What a difference 90 years makes...    History may repeat itself, but sometimes it shifts the focus a little...
