Women with Cleft Chins...

So this has bugged me for the past few months.. I have a Cleft Chins(Butt chin) and i was hopping that it would slowly round out and maybe go away with me being on HRT but sadly i can tell that's not going to happen.

I been looking online and even Women Born physically Female can have Cleft Chins and that's helped me in accepting my chin

How do you all deal with it if you have one? And would you have it removed if you could/had the money?

I might eventually address mine along with other FFS, I'd love to take care of it. I have seen many cleft chins on born women, despite the cleft they are still typically more narrow than mine.

Here's current for me:

I'm obsessed about my mustache shadow, it's been the bane of my existence for 22 years now. Measurably cleft chin? maybe later.

Kyla, I cant say that I have much of a cleft in my chin if any at all, you can only really see it if I'm doing the most extreme smile possible lol. Honestly though even if I did have one that was noticeable I more than likely would not have it changed if I had the option. The majority of women on my fathers side of the family have cleft chins so it wouldn't really seem all that out of place for me. Both of my cousins that are more like sisters to me than cousins have cleft chins, so I really don't think it's much of gender trait it's more representative of your ethnic background than anything.

When I looked through some of your galleries before I hadn't even noticed you had a cleft chin to be honest! The first thing that popped into my head was your great skin! I don't think your chin is a problem at all.

I agree with Sarah. The only thing that needs to go is the straight parted hair combed straight down the sides. I have that very same problem. If I part in the middle, I pull some bangs forward so I don't have the long haired dude look. Try different parts, or no part at all.

I hate my facial hair with a passion. A good concealer such as Durmablend works for me. I also blend in a little orange lipstick when applying it, so I get more of a natual color on my face. Then I can choose to use very little foundation and color over that as desired for a day, work , or night look. Your face has a lot going for it girl, just try experimenting on the look. I think your chin is a non-issue.

I don't know why we associate cleft chins with maleness because it's just a dominant gene that causes it from what I just read. The only FFS I need is a trachea shave. BADLY. The adams apple makes me feel so ugly and it's a dead giveaway. I feel naked without anything to cover my neck.

All you have to do is choose the "event" option on the home page (under "Wedding, Birthday, Anniversary...") And you would just put "Kyla started HRT" in the box. :) Thanks for asking!

Yeah.  I think this is what it is about.  Since they are not transgender, nobody else could possibly be either.  I'm not sure that a cisgender person can understand being transgender.  But that hardly means that a transgender person's experience is not real - just because it is not theirs. Why is a transgendered person's experience not valid, while a cisgendered person's is?  Why should it be the cisgendered person that decides? Nobody is forcing a cis person to transition.  What I do for myself is my own business.

I've been thinking it is a matter of belief.  They simply do not believe someone can validly be transgender and should not be allowed to practice their beliefs, but should be forced to practice their belief, that is, that there is no such thing as transgender and it is all mental illness/sin/hormonal imbalance.

I am really kind of sick of everybody who is not transgender deciding on what we need and do not need in the way of procedures. They act like all of this is play acting, and we can just apply cosmetics to our entire body. It might be refreshing if someone asked us directly what services we need in order to transition. I could say more as I am frustrated, but I do not want to violate the TOS.

I discovered her "Whipping Girl" when my egg first cracked.  It helped me understand some things.

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

At the other end and in our favor is Julia Serano's analysis of the Cass Report Fiasco   https://juliaserano.medium.com/the-cass-review-wpath-files-and-the-perpetual-debate-over-gender-affirming-care-8f56d0c4d0c6   Serano is a Trans Woman and a molecular biologist herself, guess whose evaluation I honor.

That's great @MaeBe hopefully the company will offer your wife a moving package with the new job position. That's how I was transferred from the St. Louis Metro area to the Indianapolis Metro area. The company covered all the moving expenses, as well as a three week stay in an extended living hotel while we chose an area to build our current home.   Good Luck and make it a happy adventure.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Birdie is the day care in charge of your MyChart, Hospital, and Doctors as to how you are cared for? There has to be some way to prove that you were born intersex and have a choice on your chosen pronouns. I wish we could do more for you. Keep pushing forward.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
