Well, since I switched exclusively to women's jeans I've run into the annoying problem of not having any idea where to put my Wallet... or my cell phone.. or my keys.. The wallet was the worst though because Ive had it forever and it has a chain on it that I would usually hide the majority of in my pocket. I just lack the pocket space to carry all this stuff around on me now! I mean if I did try to stuff all of this junk into my pockets I would look really.. really strange.

So I decided that I would grab my friend who is way more fashion knowledgeable than me, and he helped me pick out a really nice smallish shoulder bag big enough to fit everything I need inside of it, and a matching wallet. Honestly glad I got some help, as my instinct would have to have been to go with something black, he had me go with a white bag with black trim, and I have to admit it really does look better especially for spring! Was a little costly though, I swear transitioning just leaves me perpetually broke.

Anyways it's really my first purse of any kind, and it's sooo nice to finally have somewhere to put all this stuff with out trying to stuff it all into these tiny pockets! Maybe I'll take a picture of it here later tonight or something. :D

I always hate tiny pockets. My wallet is too thick. Hnnng.

Congrats on the new accessory!

I'm working on losing weight so I can fit into a nice suit.

Also what video games do you like?

That's really nice that you got some help in picking out a good bag! I know I'm going to need to think about getting a bag soon too. I keep everything in my coat for the time being.

I'd definitely want to see pics of what you got!

Ah, the first handbag. Then soon it is the second. It is all so innocent. Then you leave the handbags together by the bed, or in the chair overnight. Next morning POOF!!! you have six or eight of them. LOL! It's a girl thing. Giggle. Hug. JodyAnn

I got a lot of them early in my trans life but now i have a favorite. It's an old black leather coach bag. It holds everything so well. Just enough space for me if i keep the wrappers out. it feels right with just about anything except a really formal outfit. I never have a chance for that anyway so its been great for a year = now. Can'r leave home without it. i wouldn't ever want to put things in my pockets again.

Hugs,

Charlie

Alright, finally got a picture uploaded, my Phone decided to take a 2 megabyte picture so I had to do some editing to get it uploaded! lol

FirstHandbag

Got it at JCPenny, wanted something that wasn't huge for now and the shape was a good fit for what I was wanting.

And yeah Jody, I actually saw a second one there that I liked and seriously thought about buying but it would have been way to expensive to get both! So I got just the one... for now.

Angel, it's pretty short. It's just big enough to go over the shoulder with some extra room. Just about what I was looking for for the time being. :)

Thanks Sam :) My sense of style tends to be a little to punky/darkish, I'll go with black 99.9% of the time. Even though there are alot of styles I like I just have no practice going out and actually going for said styles. lol

I'm totally with you on the black thing... at some point, the vast majority of clothing I had were dark colored or just black...

Love it except I like them long and black goes with anything and the the longer the better feels more comfortable over my shoulders

What brand is it ? It's not Prada is it ?

Angel :)

Nope not Prada, it's LuLu by Lulu Guinness.

Though to be honest my friend would totally like to get me hooked on designer stuff like Prada. :D lol

The other one I looked at, the same brand had a longer strap, and the bag was a bit bigger. It was so pretty but I couldn't afford both so I went with simpler for now. :)

I love purses. Beware though: I started with a small one, just like you, to carry the essentials.

...then I needed more essentials and as a result, my purse got larger.

Oh, it's a rule! The bigger the purse, the more the stuff. I started with really small purses, they expanded. Giggle. Then someone gave me a really big purse, telling me it made me look smaller. After I had small, medium and large, the flood gates opened. Now I have a litter of purses. Dump it out on the bed, pick the one for the day. Scoop all the needed goodies into the new one. Grab it and fly! The curse of the purse comes at bedtime, when you have to figure out what to do with what is still laying on the bed. Sometimes it's really weird treasures. No complaints here...

...other than I don't have THAT PURSE! Sooo Jealoussssss. Just kidding, it is a great purse though. Thanks for the pic. Hug. JodyAnn

That was what my friend said too when suggesting that particular color combo! :D I really actually like it.

:D I'm sorry Angel! Hopefully you'll find something you love!

Well, now that I think about it. I'm sure I could find more stuff to fill it with, and there was a larger purse that I did like but ultimately didn't buy. So I have no doubt the same thing will happen with me! LOL Though there is still quite a bit of room in this one... but I don't really own any makeup yet either.

Jody, I can't say I have a pile of bags yet, just the one.. But I am already totally there with Shoes! :D

Good morning, everyone!!   Yesterday was lawn mower battery day. I've been nursing the battery on my Zero Turn mower for two weeks. It gave up the ghost when I stopped to refuel yesterday so I had to run over to the local shop to get a new one. And forgot my wallet so I had to drive home and back again.   Then, I was using the garden tractor with the bagger to pick up the clippings. I cut about 7 acres so it took me awhile. When I was done, I went to refuel it and, of course, it wouldn't start when I'd finished putting in the gas. I'm hoping it was just some corrosion on the cables - cleaned them up, gave it a quick charge and it started right up. We'll see if it will hold a charge now or turn out like the Zero Turn.   House cleaning day today. And then I'm going to just relax outside for a bit and enjoy one more warm day before our temps drop and rain comes in for the weekend.   Enjoy this beautiful day we've been given!!

In 2014, a missing woman on a vacation in Iceland was found when it was discovered that she was in the search party looking for herself. In 2005, Mark Zuckerberg unsuccessfully tried to sell Facebook for $75 million. Back then it was called TheFacebook. Strawberries can also be white or yellow, and some can even taste like pineapples! I attend a medical day-centre in Texas for needed medical services. It's religious oriented, so not gender fluid friendly. I of course dress 100% in female attire yet androgynous to keep both "them happy", and I really don't mind.    I of course am imposed rules that no other participant is bound by. The examples are the allowed size of my backpack, or how many visits per day I can see my Representative payee.  The gender neutral restroom use was a compromise that all off us have agreed to.  Not being able to wear tanks tops or shorts that aren't "Bermuda length" are other examples of where I am restricted more than any other participant. "Bra talk" is strictly forbidden, even though their doctor and occupational therapist were the ones that told me I needed support due to neck pain.    I found myself being reprimanded by staff three times yesterday for very petty details, and they have constantly pushed for me to remove myself from the program voluntarily. I am of course someone not welcomed in the program, but federal discrimination laws prevent them from removing me. They instead are just making life miserable with the hopes that I will leave on my own.

Nope.  I live in a rural area.  Pride events are for city folks.  The normally quiet LGBTQ+ club kind of changes atmosphere during that time, and things get a bit political.  As a non-Democrat, I avoid it.
    • awkward-yet-sweet
For me, definitely the size thing.  I'm 5'4" on a good day, and 100lbs.  I can pass as a teenage boy, but never for my real mid-30s age.  And since my husband looks older than his age, I'm often assumed to be his kid.  Or folks think there's something illegal going on.      Also, my lack of the typical aggressive "masculine" demeanor.  I don't really desire the typical masculine social role, nor could I do it even if I tried really hard.  I'm usually quiet and kind of timid.

I am sorry for your struggles. I cannot empathize, but I can surely sympathize. I wish only the best for you!

No, they are the only provider of services I need an my area. 😑
    • RaineOnYourParade
My size. A lot of guys aren't 5'3" at seventeen. My hands. It's a less noticeable one, but my hands are very "feminine"? If you know what I mean. My voice. Very high-pitched. I don't just sound like a female, I sound like a little girl sometimes My chest. I've had to stop binding due to frequent aches doing so, and it's not nearly small enough to just cover with baggy clothes My family. They still call me she/her, so that's an automatic out. My anxiety. I might be able to pass better if I had the courage to correct people. Instead, I'm too scared to speak up, so I find it hard. My lack of men's clothes.   Anyone else have these problems, or other ones?

From what I have read and heard most people are so.busy with their everyday lives and either looking at their phones or in a hurry to notice you out and about.

This exactly ^^^   I actually really liked games where I was required to play a male character. It felt homey, in a way.

Anyone play war and order on their phones?
    • violet r
I can relate.  I have always played a female character when given the opportunity. Not really and reason except I just alway pick them since I was young
