Epilator vs Wax

Both Epilators and waxing have a similar technique when removing hair, but which one would be most effective?

They both pluck out hair from the roots, are both painful, and does their job as they should.

Personally, I was thinking about getting an epilator since it's less messier than sugar waxing(it's sticky) and takes less time and efficiency. I would have to sacrifice a time consuming(Yea I make my own sugar wax) less painful method in exchange for a more swift method with risk of temporary reddening of the skin.

What's your input on both of these products?

I've only had my eyebrows waxed. One quick ouch. I tweeze instead because even though it takes more time it is more accurate.

In other areas i use an epilator. It is painful but i just go as long as i can take it and quit. I must admit my stomach hurts the worst and either way ouch.

Epilator definitely. Not only less messy, it's cheaper over the long run, and if you don't get all the hairs in the first pass, you can go over the area until you get them. Not so with waxing.

I remember an add on TV for a product called "Nads" that was named for the inventors daughter, has any one heard of or tried it? If it is any good, is it still around?

Ive been epilating my legs for a few months about 2 times a week now. Its only about 20% the pain it used to be at the start so Ive got used to it. yay. still get quite a few hairs breaking rather than pulling but hardly any jaggy like day after shaving.

I've had my epilator for about a year and a half and I just love it! It has definitely paid for itself and made my life so much easier! There is a chance of getting ingrown hairs, but exfoliating and body creams seem to help. I just love feeling smooth and soft all over. I also use witch hazel to help reduce redness and is very soothing.
