Very cool, Wendy. I do wish that the company would make such a policy at least for its company owned stores, of which there are many. But its a good step.

The irony is not lost on me, either, that this news was brought to us by someone named "Wendy." :) Very fair of you, girl!

You know, when I was doing my research for a GT, I spoke to a therapist who stated that Washington is the premier state for transgender equality. I seriously don't like the cold, but I just might have to look at it as a huge sacrifice on my part and strongly consider relocating there. :)

Hi Sophia,

Yes, sometimes I feel blessed to be living here. And, at the same time, I recently was a guest in Florida for three weeks. And, I didn't feel that I was treated any differently there than here.

It really isn't that cold here. But, the wet weather can get to a person. About now, when we'e had 5 months of clouds, people start getting a bit edgy? But, there's a Tulip Festival nearby, and our beloved green is reappearing! When summer comes, we make the most of it. If you come to Capitol Hill some July day, when it's a comfy 80 degrees - you'll never go back!

Love, Megan
