Hrt And Soft, Girly Skin...

I was really interested to find out from anybody how long as a general rule does it take for your skin (whole body) to have that soft girly look, I've been on HRT for 9 months now and while it has softened quite alot it still appears kinda "Masque" around my arms, neck and shoulders (not my face though)

I was wondering will years of HRT bring your body's skin to that of the level and appearence of GGs or will I always have skin that looks a little bit 'tough'?

I know it takes several years to grow but I can't help but want to hear the opinions of others :D

Anybody who has been on prologed HRT or has any idea about this would be gweatly appweciated :)

Much luv :)

You're vulnerable to breast cancer (as much or more than cissexual women), I'm not sure what causes cellulite.

As for skin texture, it should eventually be the same as most cissexual women. I don't know how long it would take. 9 months seems a short time though.

It took me 6 months just to get rid of my acne (that I had for 8 continuous years!), with HRT.

Not being a Dermitologist I can't remember how long it takes for the entire epidermal to replace itself, but it is measured in years I believe. And another factor is sun damage - that will never be completely repaired becuase women are subject to that as well.

Be patient Sweetheart, you are getting there!

Love ya,

Celulite is also known as fat, & it is created from the foods that we eat as well as from our climate (IE conditions cause the body adds or subtracts fat in order to keep the body warm or cool as needed) but it is more shifted around to give a more womanly apearance. And just in case you are wondering I'm not on HRT yet :P

Well... HrT takes aprox. 5 - 7 years to complete (its almost like doing puberty all over again, or for the first time if you're that lucky :D )

So it will take that amount of time for your full results.

Also you have to take into concideration the amount of skin shedding that has to be done for all the areas of skin to be fully female... Its literally like you're "shedding" you male layers. Since you have seven layers of skin, you're going to need to shed those layers before the skin that has grown under the HrT influence can be fully visible. So gradually after many months, your skin will be smoother.

Also the skin shedding process isn't general, so it will happen faster in more exposed areas and slower in less exposed ones. You should have nocticed that your veins are also becoming less visible which adds to the sofness effect :) this is a side effect of the more loose and transparent skin that is female skin.

Hope that makes sense! I'm tired today :D

I have been on HRT for less time than you and I was complimented on my skin texture last night - surprised me - a mother of an MTF at one of the meetings I attend. Wow - but I have always had womanly skin for a male - its now just that there is a boost to it I guess.

YMMV - your mileage may vary, I suppose

Like everyone says - just be patient.

All cells in one's bodies have a lifespan at max of 7 years, or so I heard. Skin is probably no different.

I'm complimented over the skin texture of my hands sometimes, they seem to be "girly" to some, although I did 5 years of warehouse/manufacture work, which haven't exactly been all that tender to my hands. They look like I haven't ever worked manually.

Been using the wok on the back deck a lot the last few months.  Just got another stock of udon noodles from Amazon and we are using those in the stir fry with onions, peppers and a spicy peanut sauce.  I did this often in the 90's too, but back then I was just using a standard Coleman camp stove instead of this high BTU wok burner.  I've had the burner for a couple years, but haven't been using it regularly until recently.

I’m a lefty. Learned to be a bit ambidextrous for certain tools that assume right handedness like scissors, but couldn’t write with my right hand to save my life.

Tangent, adjacent, opposite...  It's still rock n' roll to me.  I don't know about the "in god we trust" part of the money, but I like the lady with the scale.  And then I look left at the Indian statue on my mantel of Guanyin feeding a drop of liquid to the dragon at her feet.  In god we trust?  The lady with the scale?  Maybe this is too binary.  And then on the other side of Guanyin is that kind of pelican wood bird that sits two feet tall that I hauled back from South America through the Panama canal.  The beak broke in 1998 and I carefully saved the pieces (as I usually do) and attached them back about a decade ago.  I used a drill to make a small hole and then put a finish nail in there.  Then a hole on those two pieces that needed to be attached.  Upper and Lower beak.  There is still a seam showing.  I could cover that up, but the beak is a bright yellow and well, it's better with all the pieces in place and I don't mind seeing the crack.  I guess that is the tangent and the other two are the opposite and adjacent. -money  Why don't coders always code the "-" action in their search fields?  It's not that difficult!

@April Marie Yes, it's something to shop for at least for 6-8 weeks.

Definitely points to learn and keep in mind.  A bunch of stuff I had put in mental "cold storage" thawed out a bit there and ready again to run through my mill.  As said, a bit long and as usual from her a tad bit challenging.  Overall I see it and can use it as a working hypothesis.

Yeah.  I like Nebula, that was where I watched it.   I posted the YouTube cause I figured more people could see it.

We agree on most of this... and the church/state thing is kind of a tangent anyways. Oops. LOL   I think it has long been established that all different kinds of groups have access to public funds. In my opinion, either everybody has access or nobody does. I would prefer "nobody."   Relying on public funds gives the government the power to take it away, and puts that power in the hands of whatever group controls the government at the moment... the news article that is the topic of this thread shows a clear example of that happening.  Organizations trust government at their peril.

More info on Abigail Thorne here: https://go.nebula.tv/philosophytube and, Dracula's ex-girlfriend, on Philosophy tube.   "The reason why Nebula is so cheap for what it is, is because there's no upper hierarchical group looking yo skim off the top. Imagine how much cheaper EVERYTHING could be if it was like that for every other service or product; if the money went straight to workers, not up a chain of command until it reached someone who did exactly "jack" to produce what's being sold.
