Waiting For T-the Hardest Thing I've Ever Done

>.< I'm 15, I can get T at 16. and I can't STAND waiting! >_< 245 days till my B-day. Oct.9 -_- It's making me go insane. I need advice on making it not seem like an eternity. Once my mom gets money back from taxes I'm getting an STP and Compression shirt, so that stuff should make it a lot easier... but still I have to wait for them to send the check, have it cashed, then I gotta order the stuff, and wait for it to come. -really needs advice bad on making time seem to go faster, other than sleeping 12 hours a day.-

and while I'm at it is there any ways to naturally increase T, or just increase T in general without a prescription? I want to increase it just enough to help with my muscles, I lift, workout, I drink whey protein, take B-vitamin supplements, drink Creatine, and I want to start eating huge amounts of fresh broccoli, and food that I guess has stuff in it to free up testosterone in the body. (Can't hurt can it to try?) Any ideas?

Hummmmmm

My therapist says impatience is a true indicator for transsexuality- we wanna GET TO THAT PLACE - augggggggh

So - bad answer - but you are typical!

Only thing I can suggest is work at things you CAN control. AUGGGGGGGGH - me too - so many hoops to jump through!

I think I know the problem...time runs different in Pensylvania then the rest of the world..... :P

Well...I'm waiting, too....

Wanna hang out together?

We can go down to the flower shop and hang out in front..I think they change out the begonias this afternoon....

Oh, wait...that may not be fun for you......

I'm really sorry that the wait is so agonizing for you, Hon...really....

It will get here, but, there's not much to do unfortunatly to speed it up....

Hang in..it'll get here!...

Well I may not care about flowers but I wouldn't mind planting a garden... if it weren't 40-30 degrees outside... and that's at best. I think when it gets warm out I wanna plant a veggie garden.... that's something I can do :D when it gets warmer I can plant a veggie garden! :D and I can find some science experiments to do, taking observation on growth and development of the veggies. Vary the amount of sun, or water the plants get... etc. I guess once June comes, and it's summer it will be a lot easier to pass the time.

If you want to make the time pass quicker take a tip from the Chinese, instead of a shovel, try plowing the back forty with a pair of pool cues!

From what DJ has been saying about the weather all you will be able to grow is snow peas!

Grow your own frozen Vegatables!

Seriously, here's a project that will make the time go by - try to stop me from making bad jokes and quoting every body who ever lived.

Just plan way too much to get done before you start on T and then try to get it all done - the time will go by quicker and you will accomplish something at the same time.

Love ya,

Sally

Donna Jean - you just did it - you answered a post and forgot to approve the post that you answered - I'm not the only one! :P

When I first started I didn't have a lot of monet so i did what I had to do.

First for a stp divice I made my own, I cut out the inside of a plastic lid, ( a chinese container from some soup got) I rolled it up in my hand and made sorta a funnel, it worked.

Secound for a binder I used a back compresent and a sports bra not the best but layer your shirts.

Third keep working out yoou mingt not have bulk now but you have strengh and that counts for alot. It did for me 'cause when I did get T I bulked up real fast.

hope it helps.

I'm sorry you have to wait. I know how hard that is. Do you have everything lined up so you can start T as soon as you're sixteen? That is, do you have a doctor who would be willing to prescribe and monitor it and all the things that doctor requires (such as a therapist letter)? If not, focus on getting that stuff taken care of. That way you'll feel more proactive and you won't have to wait as long once you are of age.

I hated waiting too and I was always angry because of it. However, now you can really think about it and get ready for it before it happens. Think of it like christmas! The best part is all the extra goodies you get before the big main gifts!

Don't rush anything.

I agree with not rushing everything. It will come. And it is better to wait and do everything under medical guidance. Anything else will potentially risk liver et al issues. And, btw, in regards to your shoulder question (your other thread) the T will help somewhat with that along with your existing workouts (given your age and such) if you take T before 25.

Hold on, you can get T at 16???? I thought it was 18. Is it only in your state?

Hey okay - just keep it general now - Laura's is for info - not for specifics, but a type of discussion is fine. I suggest that to find out about the availabilty and age of T - a therapist or physician needs to be asked.

Just my opinion

I'm in the same boat as you, only I'm likely going to have to wait until at least my sophomore year in college...and I'm only a senior in high school. >_< It sounds like your family is fairly supportive if they're buying you a STP and binder, which is good. Lately I've been trying to pass time by immersing myself in fantasy -- I play World of Warcraft constantly, read tons of books, play other games, ect. Those are good for passing the time because they distract...but I find I'm not really happy. I find myself actually enjoying life when I go outside and can be myself. My suggestion would be to immerse yourself with good friends, especially once you get the STP. I know it makes me happy inside when I get the chance to go into the men's room, and things don't seem as bad and as far away as they really are.

Wish I could get an STP, my Mom made some not-very-nice comments about what would happen if she found out I got one before I get outta the house. Perhaps if I got a friend to buy it and give it to me sneakily and kept it hidden...>_>

I totally agree. That's how I kept from going nuts while I was waiting, not that it still wasn't difficult. Doing all the prep stuff helps keep you occupied and you feel like you are taking positive steps.

I hope our members from the Mid-South are doing OK today.  A lot of places had a real disaster overnight.  Tornadoes dropped all over, through Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee.  Lots of damage, and many people missing.  Pray for those involved, and that there won't be another wave of it tonight.   My county was spared almost all of it, but a neighboring county was hit hard.  Our Defense personnel were mobilized this morning to assist with access control, because all their local LEOs are needed for search and rescue.  No idea of how many are injured and missing, but there have been several deaths.  We may not know for weeks.  Rural areas here have a lot of shacks and trailer houses, and most people were asleep because it hit at the worst time - early morning on a Sunday during a holiday weekend.  Tornado hit a retirement home, and lots of elderly folks were hurt bad.  There was no forecast for this, and little if any warning.      Electrical outage is widespread, and it has been followed by a really hot, humid day.  Heat index is around 115 - it's killer heat.  I went out with my husband this morning, since everybody with a CDL was needed for a convoy.  I'm back home now, since I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night.  He'll probably be there overnight, and GF is there also helping with mechanical issues.  They've converted a big Baptist church into a community shelter for people who have lost their homes, and set up a generator and AC.  I'll probably go back tomorrow to help some more, as they're working on setting up a kitchen...nobody wants to eat MRE's forever.    They're getting no help from the state at all yet.  Governor didn't bother to declare an emergency until this afternoon!   The National Guard hasn't been activated either.  If it wasn't for Defense personnel, there'd be gawkers and looters. Its ridiculous, like only the cities matter.  Two rural towns literally no longer exist - its like a bulldozer a half-mile wide went through.  I've seen tornado damage before, but this is the worst.  Its just heartbreaking to look at it.

You are absolutely experiencing the same thing many, if not most, of us have faced...and still face.    The best thing I did was to find a therapist skilled in gender issues. She's been a life saver (and we work entirely on-line). And, for me, it also has made sense to move ahead slowly and in synch with my wife.    Just know that you have people here willing to listen and help, as you need it.

A decided exception to the concept of Free Speech, this one shows the consequences of taking the concept off the rails.

Idaho drag performer awarded $1.1m in defamation case against far-right blogger. A blogger, Summer Bushnell, falsely claimed Eric Posey exposed himself to a crowd, including children. The Kootenai county district court jury unanimously found that Summer Bushnell defamed Eric Posey, a resident of Post Falls, Idaho, when she posted a doctored video of his performance that included a blurred spot that she claimed covered his “fully exposed genitals”, the Coeur D’Alene Press reported. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/may/26/idaho-drag-performer-defamation-case-far-right-blogger

I met them on the street one day when they lived in my city. Said hi. They seemed nice. P.S. I think Fin's pronoun is "they."

April, Thank you for the shout out. It is difficult. Sometimes I wish I was just like everyone else (whatever that is). I haven't figured out how to present it to the kids (not sure I'm ready, or want to). I'd imagine  everyone on this forum has felt this at one time or another.

Thanks, I may start a separate thread for the hobbies etc.  My wife and I have also been creating a recipe book we are both quite proud of.

Thank You, I tried to balance the rooms decor with equal feminine, artsy, and a bit of 90's grunge/alternative influence.  Unfortunately, the camera I used didn't show the drawings well. I may decide to make a separate thread for the drawings/arts/crafts.   Hugs

@Amy Powell your aesthetic reminds me of Anna Sui. Kinda art deco meets romantic meets Bohemian meets rock n roll.   Fashion images: https://www.google.com/search?q=anna+sui+fashion&client=ms-android-google&sca_esv=87940c84487c33f0&sca_upv=1&udm=2&biw=412&bih=790&sxsrf=ADLYWIIV5j67lhM8fvT9dj5QsjqC4t8JAw%3A1716744540336&ei=XHFTZs-SFKiQwbkPyvS6kAQ&oq=anna+sui+fash&gs_lp=EhNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwIg1hbm5hIHN1aSBmYXNoKgIIADIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIHEAAYgAQYGDIHEAAYgAQYGEjWKlDuCliMJHACeACQAQGYAaUBoAHhD6oBBDEyLje4AQHIAQD4AQGYAgigAqkGwgIEECMYJ5gDAIgGAZIHAzQuNKAHsVA&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp
