Mommy Why Is That Man Dressed Like You?

No I haven't actually heard that comment. But believe me I don't pass and I couldn't care less. My inner beauty and womanhood is all that matters to me, my wife or any one else who knows me for my real self.

But today at "work" part time/short time" an employee came up to me and said "I hear you wear women's underwear.

I looked him in the eye and said, "doesn't every one?'

Then I said I do in pink. purple 'lavender and flesh tone.

He laughed and that was the end of the conversation.

How and why he asked or new or heard I didn't ask and I don't care. Would You/

Any similar experiences/

Actually they are fun and who cares any more,,let the world see the real you,,like Geneee said enjoy the journey not just the destination. Isn't life really fun for us whether you are CD. MTF or FTM we are all so connected.

Oh, Mia...Where did THAT come from???

Your remark and attitude were super. Good for you!!!

You know, Hon..our age is a plus in this endeavor as we can get away with way more than most! lol

But another consideration is our acceptance of ourselves...Not all that long ago I would go ape if someone made a "Gay" type remark to me...denial no doubt! And now it doesn't bother me at all...actually, some where I work probably would guess me as gay if it weren't for the fact that I'm married and she calls me a couple times a day...But, they're certainly wondering what's going on ...lol...That's the funny part..I really don't care. I am the woman I was born as and I'm sliding into that skin...

So when I hear remarks..It's different...

When I think about it anymore, my attitude is "It's your problem, not mine!"

Don't get me wrong..I'm sure I'll get hurt plenty during all of this. I'm just able to bear it better.

So, Mia...what were those colors again? (GRIN)

And I do so love you, too!

Mia I laughed out loud when I read your post. Great reply!

Anytime someone asks me a question that I KNOW they are trying to get my goat I just agree with them and smile. It can take the wind right out of their sails.

Wonderful self confidence, Mia...

You go girl!

How can anyone get your goat if you just hand them the leash - takes all of the fun out of it!

What a strange sentence that was, but then who would want to get my goat and why would I care - I don't like goat's milk and I have a lawn mower!

Love the attitude - it's what makes you special!

Love ya,

Sally

Hmmmmm Mia...it seems that this individual has more than a passing fancy for ladies under garments...LOL...look him up and down Mia and 'guesstimate' his size, and then give them a clue 5?/6?/7?/...12?. Why do we all feel so embarassed about who we are? There is NO reason to be embarrassed. Raspberries on it Rocky. Stick your tounge out and give them the BRZZZT. You will definately feel better afterwards, Kelly Ann

I'm a 7 & he is a 12.Big giant bear of a guy,but harmless. Not a lot in the gray matter. Too much of the 60's for him. He's Ok,but what a strange comment.

I have been proposed to, asked for dates, and complimented by both men and women. It gets more interesting all the time.

It hit me hard - that is so true - bless your heart!

I get looks - I have yet to be actually questioned, but I know it will happen. I LOVE your comeback... I have written it down and put it in my wallet.

So when a big ole guy comes up, says whatta doing dressed like that? I can say 'jus' a second, hon," ramble through my purse, find my wallet, search for that note, say "workin' on it dear, jus' a second more," pull out a bunch a papers and look thru that - no.... and then realize I used that paper to write down my grocery list on the back, hummmm, when? last week? ... and then probably threw it away. "ratz" Then I will look up - he will probably have given up and left by then. Darn, snappy comeback from Mia - what was it??? I am such an airhead, these days..

And if he stuck around after all that? I will jus' hit him with my purse!

Kidding girls and guys - NEVER be confrontational - it can be dangerous. Use humor - or disdain - hummmph, walk away - whatever, but never get defensive or challanging in attitude.
