An Interesting Quote

I found an interesting quote from Lewis Carroll's THROUGH THE LOOKIN-GLASS. "Well, now that we have seen each other," said the Unicorn to Alice, " if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you." If you project a happy, confident woman (or man), then that is what people will see, and that is how you should be treated.

People come in all shapes, sizes and ages. Wearing the right clothes does help but it does not, alone,make the person. A good positive attitude, and a good belief in yourself makes the real difference. Many women wear boyish outfits but still project a very feminie appearance because of their self confidence in themselves.

Before going out the front be sure that you are in the right mindset. As they say, "attitude is everything." Believe in your self - and smile - before you know it - they will be smiling back!

I love the quote hun. Not to mention what you had to say. I made a lot of sense. As I am just starting my process at the very beginning it is foremot in my mind about passing for a genetic woman. It caused me to think how many genetic women are mistaken for men so it stands to reason some might think I was one of those. And I already act feminine and am comfortable in that lol. I was just thinking about it yesterday, but i still have a hughe prefference for feminine clothing, anyway, as Kalie said, a lot of women can be mistaken for men, and yet they still women, clothing is just one part of it. By the way, i loved the alice in wonderland book and i started reading through the looking glass a couple of days ago.
