Won't be able to begin transition if my DACA case get denied.

Wasn't really sure where to post about this, didn't want to post in the wrong section so politics will do. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

And please excuses me while I rant, I'm feeling very depressed and just needed to vent.

I don't know if many of you have heard about the Deferred Action law that was passed around the same time as the Dream Act. It would allow immigrant students to work in the United States legally, and obtain drivers licenses. Well I entered my application and I'm currently under investigation, I needed to supply more evidence stating that I was in the United States my whole life (which I have). But I'm starting to get very depressed because I can't pay for my transition without being able to work. HRT and endo visits are a lot, and as each day passes I get more and more frustrated. I should have started my transition months ago when I got my letter from my therapist but I lost the under the table job I had and that's where everything went down hill.

I don't know what to do anymore, I'm hoping and praying that my application gets approved but honestly I wish I could start my transition now! I'm really not trying to think about the "what if" my application gets denied. Anyone have a similar case like this? Or can anyone offer advice?

I don't have any experience in this area, but the one thing that you must absolutely do is to stay as positive as you can and not let depression get the better of you. Depression will only work against you, mentally and physically and thus nothing good comes from it. (((hugs)))

You might want to do an introduction on the introduction forum.

I think Vicky has some good suggestions.

I think it is so sad that we have people in this country who want to persecute folks like your situation over something they had no control over. I hope that others see your post and can give better information on what you can do.
