Hi every one I think I'm transsexual but not sure , I guess I just need to be pointed in the right direction ,

I have a friend that is on LP that thinks I am a TS also .

I'm from Austraila if any one knows of some one here I can go and talk to that would be a big help .

Also any info on liveing stealth would be awesome .

Most people will probably tell you to seek out a therapist who is experienced with gender issues, this is a good starting point. You may want to consider finding a local Trans support group, to meet others. Ultimately, only you know deep down who you are. I wish you all the best.

While there are a lot of great resources here to do research and find some useful information. As Gina points out you will have your own journey down this path and a good place to start is a therapist, generally there are directories and sometimes some therapists will list that they specialize in gender issues.

The only person who can truly determine if you are trans is you. But a therapist can help very much. So let this be one more vote for finding a therapist qualified in gender identity issues with whom you can work. Be open, honest, and forthcoming to your therapist too.

Hi and thank you every one for replying to my post . And yes I'm really the only one who can say if I am TS and it's taken all my life to come to this point , so I am am now looking at seeking out a therapist here in Aus . I'm just not sure what the fist step is to find one I'm hoping that won't take to long . Again thank you all ...

I went to my GP/PHP/Family Doctor and simply asked for a referral to see a Gender Therapist.

But that is up here in The Great White North, things may of course be different Down Under.

Hopefully some one from "your neck of the woods" will chime in.

Thanks joann and Carla you all have been very helpful with the links and advice , I know I have such a long way to go and still much to learn and with help I mite just get there . Talking to my Gp is a good place to start and I had thought of doing that , I have been putting it off for to long
