Has anyone got one of these? Does it live up to the manufactures claims? It retails for £300.00 (that's $482.48), which is down from £450.00/$723.71. They (the manufacturers) even claim it removes grey hair!

Has anybody got one? Has anyone got access to "Which Magazine" online? They specialise in reviewing products and services. All IPL machines will be reviewed by them. So if you have it - there is a fee to have it downloaded - you should be able to decide which system is best for you. Alternatively, you should be able to use a library computer to access "Which."

Here's what the manufacturer's saying about their product:

The old adage comes to mind that if something seems to be too good to be true, it most likely is. If the praises being told came from an independent study, I might believe it. That's a whole lot of money to be spending on something that's iffy. I'd say, buyer beware.

I was all set to buy this gadget but I now realise that it would be unwise to pay £300.00 for something that might work. I was euphoric when I saw the advert but there seems to be no rave reviews forthcoming. Most probably a bunch of conmen (the manufacturers) making hugely exaggerated claims - particularly the bit where it even works on grey hair - to milk money out of desperate people. There'd be a lot more enthusiasm on here if even any of the IPL systems worked

My thought, since we are not in the time of 'Star Trek', quick and painless hair removal sounds like simply another tag line. Trust me when I tell you thst I'd order it right this second if there was verifiable evidence...

possibke snake oil? Time will tell...

I looked up the new ADENA IPL hair removal system that is supposed to remove even white/gray hair.

Its very new and sells for around $3600.00 to $4600.00 so something that sells for about $450.00 seems to good to be true.

Keeping an eye open for something real.
