How to get a binder?

There is a potential problem with gynecomastia binders for men. Natal male bodies have denser bone and binding with the male gynecomastia shirts can cause us serious damage-the same as binding with in appropriate materials like waist cinchers or and such. Used for any length of time they WILL cause damage but from what I have read some people can also run into trouble after just a few uses. And the problem is not just pain but things like lung tissue adhering to ribs, lifelong lung problems and sudden trips to the ER as well as being unable to bind again. Ever, no matter what. An emergency trip to the ER will out you to your family very quickly. Just not worth the risk. And I do understand the need-I am very chest dysphoric.

At your age binding appropriately is especially important because your bones are more susceptible to damage and much less able to handle the pressure of something made for an adult male. There is a thing called a FTM chest where guys have ugly concave chests that even chest surgery can never make look normal male.

You have a long, long time to live your life as the man you are but also a long time to pay for mistakes you make now. Go with athletic compression shirts-Under Armour and the higher end brands work best- and layered or lose clothing. The deal with the compression shirts is that they are easy to get and everyone is wearing them -for sports but also for heat in winter and cooling in summer. I get a size smaller than I am-in fact use a youth lg or adult small-I will layer two and wear them every day -including 4 or 5 hour hikes without any problem and I have lung damage from multiple bouts of pneumonia. The difference with the compression shirts is that they are designed to provide some compression but also give four ways to allow normal activity. The science behind them is extensive while there is none behind binders.

If you walk and talk and have the confidence of a guy then some chests won't out you. I have to fight all the time with my need to have a flat chest because I work out and being on T developed pecs which because they are solid muscle don't compress. I know intellectually that other guys strut their pecs but they drive me crazy. But I also know that over binding and being unable to move freely or breathe right makes me look far less male so I don't for that reason as well as the health risks. I am seen and accepted as male 100% pecs and all.

Please be safe with binding. If you look you will find several threads here where guys thought they could get away with it and found out differently.
