First short haircut?

Hey everyone. So, I came out to my parents back in November, but since then very little has changed. Im not out at school yet either. When I first came out, my mom asked me if I wanted to get q boys haircut, and although I did want one then, I wasnt ready for it.

Now still being in school, I really want a haircut now. Ever since I can remember, all of my family and classmates knew me by my long (past shoulder lengh), blonde, thick, hair. It's like my signature, but I dont really like it. It makes me hot in the summer, gets in my way, and I wear a hat over it anyway. I want to get a boys haircut, but Im afraid of how everyone will react. Ive never had my hair go above my shoulders before. Although there is summer where I'd be entering high school, I have no patience lol.

Im pretty sure my parents would allow me to the haircut (although i have no idea hat kind of cut I want) but idk hat to od about school and class, any suggestions? Thanks all.

I'm sure a haircut will be noticed. Some will moan and say how much better you looked some may compliment your bravery. The trick, i think, is to not worry about what they think and instead concentrate on your feelings. If you want it short go for it. Style will come with time, just like it does for guys. You might want to find out if you can donate to "Locks for Love" who donate hair for cancer patients. As far as when....you will always have folks around.

Hugs,

Charlie

Cutting my mod-back length hair was the first step I made and I was actually afraid I might regret it because I got more compliments on my hair than everything else put together. I didn't regret it at all-and because I was not on T or anything no one saw anything weird about it though people did mention it was a shame I cut it but it looked good. However I knew why I cut it and it made me feel much better. I haven't missed it at all. Did find out my hair is very hard to get to lay flat really short so most haircuts are a disaster but other than that no problems. I seem to wear it shorter all the time. My daughter has even quit moaning when I threaten to shave it.

Your hair can be a powerful symbol for yourself-enjoy

Thanks guys, I think I'll gather up some courage, and hopefully get it some few weeks. If I do, I'll make sure to say so! I shouldnt care what others think, after all, it is my hair, you guys are right. I'm looking forward to see uow it'll all turn out, but too bad I have no idea what kind of cut I want haha. I'll probably donate it to Locks of Love, as I have twic before. ThNks again. -Grayson

All i can say is, don't do as i did....

Bottle up your desire because of anxiety and then one day go mad and shave your hair off and have a few accidents with it.... Yea....

I agree with the person above about the short and simple type of cut. I just asked for a traditional boy's cut, which is the same thing. Just rock your haircut and don't let anyone else stop you from getting it, it's for you more than it is for anyone else.

Thanks :) . I aaked my mom and she's ok with me getting it cut, so we're thinking by summer vacation I can get it cut. I'm really excited, and we're looking around at haircuts. I'll make sure to remember that is just for me, that'll be key.

My kitty has a litter box, which she uses on occasion.  But she prefers to make me get up to led her out. I could install a "cat door" but I'm afraid it would be used more by the possums and raccoons.  I have had possums in the house more than once - even without one.

Isn't it amazing, how animals have it all over us!   Good luck!

Good morning everyone,   It was our first night with our European Boxer and it went well. We got up at 05:30 let him out of the cage and went directly outside to give him a chance to go potty. It has been raining for two days and nights so the grass is soaked and nearly up to his belly. I don’t think he’s ever been outside while it’s raining or wet. I had my rain jacket on and a big brimmed hat as well as rain boots, he just stayed at my feet no matter where we went in the yard. I took him to the previous locations where out daughter’s dog had gone poo, but he just sat at my feet. Once inside and drying him off with a towel. He took a poo right there. So I gathered up his mess, and took him and his poo outside. So right now it’s dog one, trainer zero. Now that the coffee is brewed and I have a cup, he’s chewing on a toy.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Strange that I awoke from a dream dreaming about "being able to pee standing up!"   I know that sounds strange from someone AMAB, but intersex issues have always prevented that.    I wonder what made me dream like that? That was a first! 🤔

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
