I was born catholic raised catholic i was abused by a priest and others who where involved with the church

I left the church , i went through so many faiths trying to find the real me am still struggling with that

I have OCD and sometimes my OCD makes me have blasphemous thoughts about Jesus i dont mean to have them but they pop up every so often

i want to think about Jesus in a nice way not with thoughts like this

My OCD thoughts are also think that the world is going to end because of something av done

its really bad at the moment

i see a minster every few weeks at a mental health drop in and i have talk to him before about myself being trans

he been really understanding and he also runs a group for GLBT that am thinking about going to next week

I see him on Tuesday but will not be able to talk 1 to 1 with him

I am sure that if you ask he will arrange for some time to spend with you. Please don't think that God holds your words or thoughts against you dear. Don't forget they all come from a power greater than ourselves and forgiveness is there for us at any time we ask and then accept it.

Hugs,

Charlie

I am glad you are getting help. There is nothing to be ashamed and it is often the best way to feel better.

During one of my "dark nights of the soul" such as you may be in, a pastoral counselor I went to told me "Those who hotly curse God passionatley in their lives are closer to God than those who say they love God out of social obligation and without any real feeling to it." It has been the times God has been lukewarm to me or distant that I have truly been in trouble. Also the same pastor told me that between people and God, the people are the more terrible when they use God's name.
