A corset...

So I have what's called a beer belly... It works in man mode, but... well, I don't have to tell you all how much it can make my lady clothes.... Let's just say I have to pick my cuts pretty carefully.

I was thinking about a corset or something similar; however, I kind of feel it may just squish my tummy down and make me look deformed. Do any of you bigger girls or eve n finally-smaller girls have any experience with this? I've tried a few different kinds of shapewear and I just don't like it...

Any insight is appreciated!!!

Hugs,

Belle

I like Corsets for their overall style, and I have a friend who has done some waist training.. but honestly corsets are not for the lower belly area they work middle area where the "curve" is suppose to be for women. It's useful for enhancing that curve and overtime cause the body to conform to that shape.. but it isn't very good for shape wear on the whole stomach. What you are looking is something more like a girdle.

Ideally your best bet would be to work on getting into better shape over time, that is ultimately what I did.

I'm trying to get my belly down a bit. Dream of a bikini in the summer - would I dare lol.

Seriously - reduction in alcohol may not entice an attractive man (oh - a girl can hope :) ), but too much will certainly put everyone off! Even in man mode.

Even with the amount I drink I know that abstinence would work wonders.

So would a corset for my waist!!!

Belle: Let me make this suggestion. I believe in motivation, and exercise. I think Sarah was giving sound advise for getting into shape. Go ahead and purchase a corset and hang it up where you can see it every day. Start and exercise program that will help you get into that pretty corset. Hard work does pay off. Oh and by the way to me there is nothing more feminine than wearing pretty lingerie especially a corset. Good Luck and Hugs to you Amber L.

Sarah's right. Although wearing a corset gives me the narrower waist and something like an hourglass shape that I like, the stuff inside has to move somewhere and I have had to accept a bigger belly than before. People come in all shapes. Asking a woman or transwoman when the due date is, when they're not expecting, is never good.
