Look much better when smiling.

I wouldn't say you passed, but MtFs do even with months of HRT (sometimes years). It's not all physical though, certain things (like confidence, and a "I know what I'm doing" vibe) will make people not give as much weight to such cues, thinking it's obviously a fluke and that you're an outlier woman, rather than a man.

Take the example of rowdy bearded women, who still give off a certain "female vibe", and come off as butch women rather than men.

The wig is better and the smile is a huge improvement.

Try not to let the light come from below your face, it is very unflattering and that is why they use it in horror films.
