Definitely just Satire, the trans status is not immune to being the target of comedy.. I mean everything can become the target of comedy! I would expect more of this especially as transrelated issues are becoming more and more prominent in mainstream society and media.

I haven't seen it yet. We tape the shows and watch them the next day so i have a treat coming. If Colbert hurts my thin skin , however, i can't think of a better person to do it.

I found it quite funny myself. He was basically making fun of the haters and not trans people themselves. While he did mildly make fun of old people it was not in a nasty way. The man has a way with sarcasm and sarcasm is my number #1 language.

Knowing Colbert i felt affirmation not abuse. Satire is his world and he he lives it so well. I was happy with his coverage and saw nothing offensive.
