That's a great story. You can really see her happiness in her smile and her eyes. Her coming out speech sounded a little like mine, except I did it in front of 85 people. But the reaction was just about the same. I got a little misty eyed reading this. Thanks for posting it, LizMarie.

So thats what it could be like when everything seemingly goes right...wow

I dont know how many tears were shed for that smile to emerge but it is a great smile none the less.

I wish everyone could have happy stories such as this with understanding had by all.

She seemed to keep the important people in her life intact,albeit altered to whatever degree,but intact.

I wonder how much more difficult it is to come out to co workers like that than to do all of them individually over a period of time like I am currently doing. Seems like it would be nice to just have it all done and over with in one sitting. I dont suppose everyone can handle that much fear all at once though.

Wonderful story of a lovely lady. I certainly know what she meant by saying if she had come out earlier i.e.. the 70's she would be dead. Things have changed quickly and it is wonderful when any of us finds ourselves.
