Tips or ideas on how to make my voice a bit deeper?

As I have said before in other posts, my voice isn't feminine or high pitched. It's middle range, leading more towards a young teen guy. My uncle said that "You (naturally) sound like your brother did at the age of 13". I'll be 19 in less than 3 months, so sounding like a 13 year old guy isn't a good thing. My voice is naturally gruff and loud,it's not feminine at all(family/friends wholeheartedly agree with this) but it's just not quite deep enough.

I'm trying to pay more attention when I talk, so that I sound a notch or 2 deeper, but that's all that I can think of to try and do.

The main thing is that guys tend to talk in a more monotone way that women do. We stick to a smaller tonal range when doing things like pitching our voices up at the end of a question or when talking to small children.

Focusing on that was the main thing I did before starting T. And it usually worked unless my kids were with me (I tend to pitch my voice up more when talking to them without thinking about it).

I've done that a few times Ravin, only because I was told to talk like that and in smaller words so that kids can understand me. Like at VBS, when a little 3 y/o girl wanted to swing, I tried to talk in a softer smaller voice when talking to her. My voice normally stays the same middle of the road pitch unless I'm excited.

Your voice staying middle of the road is probably a big reason why it already sounds masculine.

And that pitching up thing is something most people, male and female, do when speaking to children--across cultures and languages too. Little children hear the higher registers more easily than low tones, and it sounds less intimidating to them, too.
