Belinda's Back And Loving Every Minute

I have had a five week hiatus from dressing due to my personal circumstances. I did dress as Belinda all day on Friday, but somehow the session did not seem right. Not sure if the combination of dress and tights was quite right or whether it was because I had things weighing on my mind. Decided to dress again on a whim after midnight and I feel absolutely right. I am not wearing anything particularly glamorous just a simple grey off the shoulder blouse and a black and white skirt from an inexpensive store in the uk called Peacocks. What has really made the outfit for me is a lovely pair of black tights in 90 denier. They feel so warm and snug. Wearing this outfit has really rolled back the years I feel a pretty twenty-something office girl. I craved this look back in the 80's when I used to envy all the young girls who worked in my office, how I wish I could have looked and dressed like them with their black tights and stiletto heels.

Just like Cinderella I do not want the night to end. I am having a ball singing and dancing in the mirror to one of my favourite girly cd's Rita Coolidge's Greatest Hits.

It's really great to divest myself of my male side and be a soft Woman again. I am relaxed at peace with myself and loving every minute. I am so completely and utterly proud of my femme side.

xx

Welcome back, Belinda. I love the way you describe how you feel, and what you are wearing, and what you're doing. I can sense your joy and fulfillment. Thanks for sharing with us, and I hope that you get to be yourself many more times in the coming days and weeks.

I love the Cinderella feeling. I also just hated the idea that midnight would come. Enjoy those glass slippers.

Missed you a little Belinda. I'm happy to see you back :) .

You know it is interesting when you (and others here) describe what they have been wearing. I build up a mental picture of myself wearing the same clothes and what occasion or whereI would like to be when I do. I also for a picture of the wearing the clothes. You will have me going to Peacocks looking for the skirt lol.

The Cinderella feeling too I have recently known. I was working on an outfit that would work for Halloween. Specifically the choker to finish it but I still have not got it done. Maybe next year? I had no occasion to wear it anyway :( . It would have been very risky out alone as it is rather Goth with short dress so would really attract attention. I was thinking more of the Goth weekend at Whitby but yet again I missed out. Cinderella sigh.......

I so totally agree with your last paragraph though!

I don't much about what is common in Wales or the rest of the UK for that matter but, I bet its a lot easier to wear a kilt (cilt in Welsh) than here in the States? I and a few others wear them from time to time but if you don't have matching bagpipes you get stares and not a utility kilt that's made of bloody heavy canvas. My pleated ones feel soo good as they swish around. True, not as good as wearing the whole girl kit but, the lasses that prefer trousers get the message. Here Welsh cilt link. http://www.welsh-tartan.com/

Glad you were able to enjoy time dressed, Belinda! I've had no time at all to do so in the last 5 months. I'm getting a bit grumpy. I do agree on the tights! I love 60 - 70 denier stockings with a suspender belt. No need to wear socks under work trousers. And similar with tights - very warm and cosy! And so long as I have my boots, I am totally happy.

My work wear? Matching satin camisole, suspenders and 60 denier stockings, lacy knickers, and mid-calf real leather ladies boots (no heel). All under black jeans and a polo shirt. It can be done - and I love being there and doing it.

So glad you could be yourself!

Hugs

Eve

My kitty has a litter box, which she uses on occasion.  But she prefers to make me get up to led her out. I could install a "cat door" but I'm afraid it would be used more by the possums and raccoons.  I have had possums in the house more than once - even without one.

I read it on medium.  I have an account but I don't remember paying that much for it.  Sorry.

Isn't it amazing, how animals have it all over us!   Good luck!

Good morning everyone,   It was our first night with our European Boxer and it went well. We got up at 05:30 let him out of the cage and went directly outside to give him a chance to go potty. It has been raining for two days and nights so the grass is soaked and nearly up to his belly. I don’t think he’s ever been outside while it’s raining or wet. I had my rain jacket on and a big brimmed hat as well as rain boots, he just stayed at my feet no matter where we went in the yard. I took him to the previous locations where out daughter’s dog had gone poo, but he just sat at my feet. Once inside and drying him off with a towel. He took a poo right there. So I gathered up his mess, and took him and his poo outside. So right now it’s dog one, trainer zero. Now that the coffee is brewed and I have a cup, he’s chewing on a toy.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Strange that I awoke from a dream dreaming about "being able to pee standing up!"   I know that sounds strange from someone AMAB, but intersex issues have always prevented that.    I wonder what made me dream like that? That was a first! 🤔

Morning y'all.    Nearly winter here, but it's a mild climate compared to what most of you experience. Even so, the best way to describe the mornings lately is...nipply! 😁

What I don’t like about the dealer working on my car, yes the put the paper mats on the floor, but why don’t they remove them when they bring my car to me?  And why do they always mess with my radio settings and my electronic dashboard settings?  I get them the way I want them and they seem to want them at factory default.  Leave things like you find them!  Why is that so difficult?  And don’t tell me it’s because the updated the computer! Every time!.  And no I haven’t figured out everything yet on the new car.  I can’t even get my key programmed to move my seat when I get in and out.  It’s supposed to move the seat, the mirrors, the steering wheel and several other things.  My old Eddie Bauer was easy to program but then it only programmed seat location and pedal location.   ok now that we’ve had our rousing knock on cars and dealer mechanics.  What else shall we talk about?  Bras?  Seems like an appropriate subject for most of us.  I have several different types. Two are famous store push-up padded to are more common everyday lightly padded ant one is a no padding no strap slip and the last one is a front close longline no padding.  Now that one supports the theory that I am now a B cup on my own. I’d prefer a C but then I’m not so sure my blouses would still fit without pulling.  Ah the problem we have as women.  And sizes are never ever the same.  Oh I’m a size ??  But men I need a large shirt and 36-30 pants and they always fit.   we can’t buy anything off the rack with confidence it will fit and I hate having to take it home to try one and return what doesn’t fit.   we’ll time to do my hair and leave.   love ya   Willow
