Life's Little Pleasures as a CD

Having a closet and dresser with my fem clothes in it and not having to hide them any more. Hanging up my lingerie on the clothes line and smelling how fresh they are when taken down. Painting my nails and staying on the nails not my fingers or toes. Practice pays off. Wiggling my freshly painted toenails. Seeing them peeking out of the toes of my shoes. Running my hands over freshly shaved legs and feeling how smooth they are. Getting into my lingerie and feeling the cool silkiness of it.The sound of my thighs rubbing together when wearing nylons.Crossing my legs and seeing the lace of my slip showing. The clicking of my heels and the pavement. The smell of freshly applied makeup and perfume. Looking in the mirror and seeing my fem self looking back. Being called ma'am. Getting hit on. Shopping!
Anyone got anything to add?

Anything to add? Wendae, I think you hit on all the very best stuff. How about the lipstick that is left on the coffee cup? The luxurious and sexy feel of nylons as you put them on? Having to pick up the hem of a long skirt as you climb the stairs? Zipping up the zipper on a pair of boots, or the back or side zipper on a dress or skirt?

As always, it's the little things that matter most. Here's to the little things. :)

I agree with the sexy feel of nylons. I would add to that the first sight of me in the mirror when I begin each dressing session. Would also add to that the thrill I get when I see all my pairs of pantyhose/tights stored in my hosiery drawer, admiring my legs in the mirror.

Recently I started using suspenders and 60 / 70 denier stockings due to the fact my silicone banded hold-ups were bringing me out in a rash (despite a careful clothes washing regime). I soon found I became a dab-hand at clipping up the suspenders and I managed to buy a belt on E-Bay that is my absolute favourite. Strong, flat satin panels and discreet enough under my work trousers. What heaven to feel it all there under my male outerwear. And sitting down and feeling those straps slide across my backside - hmm! After that - well boots, zipping up my boots and dresses, my camisoles, and - I give up. It's all just perfect!

I just love being femme - feeling the sensuality of good clothes and materials and wondering why on earth men have such rubbish to live with. Colour! Now there is another world of fun! I could go on forever.

Having the privilege of reading posts like these from like minded, accepting individuals is one of my little pleasures, and it brings me vast amounts of joy. Also, being able to relate to nearly every one of these.

Hi Vivian

Not so far as I know! I always wear discreet suspenders that are four strap and low-key. And I only wear them with thick black jeans that hide them. I do love wearing them!

Once warmer weather comes around it's back to boring socks and light trousers... :(

I dressed up as a "modern witch" on Halloween with thigh high kitty stockings, flirty pleated skirt, panties and a white top. I topped it off with a mask and witches hat. My wife and I had invited another couple over for trick or trite and had fun as the kids came to our door.

After the kids had finished coming to the door we all had super and played cards for the evening. I didn't take my skirt off until bed time. I felt wonderful for the entire evening and the next few days as well.

I love the feel of my feminine cloths and under ware. Life's great dressed. :)

Shopping and choosing clothing, lingerie. Sharing outfits with my GF. I love looking down at my toenails. The feel, smell, taste of lipstick. I was in Victorias this afternoon and sprayed on a nice mist, smelling and feeling pretty. Panties, silk or cotton, I wear them most all the time now. The "feel" of panties and pantie hose. The warmth of panty hose while on a deer stand and my hunting buddies have no clue (feel and naughtiness both I guess) Wearing pretty stockings, fishnets, patterns, the feel of them on my legs. A mid thigh length skirt, the openness, the breeze, the freedom. Trying on brassieres openly in the aisle at kohls. Picking myself out a pretty purse with my GF. Looking at myself in the mirror with wig and makeup. Seeing pics the GF took of me, one especially in exercise tights, a camo hoodie, wig, taken from behind while feeding my mule. Being told I am pretty. Being comfortable and accepting what I am. Wearing nice scents and not worrying about a feminine smell because they really do smell better. Looking at, appreciating and wearing the clothing I always wanted to but didn't always realize, hey, it's OK! Looking in my closets and drawers mixed with pretty things. The smiles that just come naturally to me while dressed. I have support, I am happier, I feel good, I feel pretty. Hard day? Dress as Destiny and it's gone. :) Destiny Lynn

If that happens, a lot of things I don't want to see might also be codified into law.  And some things that shouldn't be law might not get repealed.  To me, progress in one area isn't worth the price we'd have to pay in several other areas.     For me, voting on LGBTQ issues always ends up as an "out of the frying pan, but into the fire" sort of event.

Trying out a new wig. Got my reading glasses on. I've also got dark roots now - first time in years.

Thea, your post made me think of a comic named Chloe Petts whom I saw recently on Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda comedy special on Netflix. She is a cisgender masculine lesbian. She is brilliant and so funny. I was intrigued by her identification - specifically masculine, not butch. And it seems to me there is a difference.

Today I had a dr appt. When I checked in, I was asked my surname, which I gave. Apparently there were two patients with appointments at that time with that same surname. The receptionist asked, "Are you (my legal name which is feminine) or Paul?" I got such a kick out of it not being assumed I had the feminine name.

That must have felt affirming, albeit perhaps weirdly so. However, I'd construe that more broadly (no pun intended) as sexism rather than misogyny where the latter would imply contempt. Also, incidentally, I've heard chivalry referred to as "benevolent sexism".

My boss is in a panic. His business is a couple straws away from breaking a camel in half. He's just handling the stress very poorly.   My dad, though. He's handling things pretty well, as long as I continue to don't get massively offended by being called: son, boy, etc. His eldest is leaving the State and looks so different than he's been used to over the years. I haven't told him I'm on HRT, but to be fair the changes haven't been massive. I've always had boobs, more so after COVID weight gain and made more obvious with its loss, but now I'm not hiding them--and obviously wearing a bra. The estrogen has done some work, but nothing major (sadly). I think the biggest HRT changes have been my skin and a mild amount of fat redistribution.   Today I'm wearing my cheater, I almost have cleavage! :D I need to get another t-shirt bra to keep a good rotation. I only have two, one push-up, and the rest are unlined (great for Summer, but not great for my Summer wardrobe ).

I eat a ketogenic diet and have had no problems. I don't know about your case but I suspect it is the estrogen. Research the types of ways to take estrogen. Pay close attention to the bloodwork results. If they are not satisfactory, bring it up with your doctor. I take injectables, which are fully covered by insurance. It may not be the route for you, but something to consider. I emphasize to do your research and good luck. You can solve this. Be persistent.    Jennifer

I'm in a magenta blouse under a baby blue buttoned cardigan - still a little cool here in the northeast today - with dark blue jeans. Oh, and my favorite flame colored copper feather earrings.

What a wonderful photo! You look gorgeous!!!

White crop top and capri jeans ;) Finaly tricked the face id on my phone, "that's not you" lol.

This is my opinion, so take it for that. Fatigue is based more on what you eat. Eat a more healthy diet, and stay away from ultra-processed foods and that should help. Think of eating the way we did a couple hundred years ago before the industrial revolution. It's just a thought.   Jennifer

Welcome back, Jennifer! As a relative newbie to the forum and to transition, I look forward to getting to know you and share in your experiences.

I like the fact that you found support and have close members of your life. That is very important. No matter where you are on your journey, you have to have the support. Or you drift, and you question yourself.    Looking forward to your progress,   Jennifer
