Ok, I've written this one listening to the John Lennon/Plastic ono band album. In my blog I always put a video with the text I write so if you are so inclined listen to "isolation" by john lennon

Torture is an animal in a pen in our soul

Written like a cage for our dreams.

We keep it safe from the schemes,

safe from the war waged outside

When our friends try to kill the beast with arms open wide

Their words hits like artillery shells

And thus we dig foxholes in ourselves

If morsels of our soul disapear it's because the animal is near

It eat our happiness with apetite leaving only fear

And we feed it with twisted ideas, killer rationnals,

Prohibited ideals

In the end the animal will eat you whole...

It will feast with your fear in a satanical and cold last meal

Leaving you empty, leaving you choices

To die and let the animal eat a little part of those who grieve,

Or to resurect and destroy it

i'm not sure i understand the poem but i certainly know i don't want to be eaten. Fear put me at risk for way too long.
