Moom For Men - Extremely painful?

I've finally gotten along to using Moom For Men, and the results are less then satisfying. I understand that you're ripping hairs out, but is it supposed to make your eyes water? My general neck area is especially sensitive. I didn't even rip out the hairs, and the pain was enough to make me sit down and take a breather. I'm following the instructions as closely as possible, waited approximately two weeks for max hair growth.

I've removed the mustache hair with pain, so I know it's removeable, but I don't have enough growth to come close to 1/2 an inch in length.

What am I doing wrong? I can tape myself doing it and upload it, if it will help. If anyone has experience using Moom For Men, it'd be greatly appreciated. I already emailed the Breast Form Store, but I don't think I'll get a response until monday.

God Bless

I tried it on my stomache as well. It seems to be painfull no matter where I apply it.

I will admit, it's definitely less then waxing!!!

Is it like an epilator ? I use one of those on my legs but would never use it on my face or stomach. It did make me cry when i first used it but then again so did plucking my eyebrows. Mine is one i share with my wife so it is perhaps not as mean as the masculine version because i'll admit to being a sissy when it comes to pain. I also have no intention in manning up

Hugs,

Charlize

From Googleing I see it is a bit like waxing but with some thought to soothing the area. as such I might try on my body but would not go anywhere near my face or neck. I think I would stick with my epilator and try to improve things with it. The trouble with male hair is that it less fine than female so pulling out is more stressful to the skin.

It's for all purposes, a home waxing system. It's all natural and has only a few ingredients (all of which are organic), and it won't damage your skin. It's my attempt at being frugal for now, since laser and electrolysis are our of the question, and shaving just gets plain boring and a hassle. I've never had much of a pain tolerance either, at least to my standards. It could be because you're on HRT, and I'm not, and I may still have the thick skin regardless of how powerful my mind is. I see this "procedure" as a test of my pain tolerance, and a way to strengthen it. Also, how much I want it gone; both for being a female, and in general.

I asked the breast form store, and they told me that it wasn't designed for the face, yet I distinctly remember the introduction video showed someone getting her upper lip waxed. Though now I think about it; that was a girl.

oh well. The hair is gone for now. It's been growing back, and I'm surprised (although not unimpressed) to say that the hair definitely takes longer to grow, and is nowhere near as thick as it was before. I'll post back with results from a second waxing, but I highly recommend Moom for Men to anyone that can't afford (or doesn't want to!!) use laser or electrolysis. I can't say for sure because I've already done my first waxing, but I may have applied the moom too thickly (all you need is a very thin layer, not much at all) and that caused it to just tug on the hairs as opposed to ripping them out.

You're probably going to bleed too. I don't think there is anyway around it. I bled both facially, and on my chest. But as a general statement, it has worked very well, and was more then worth the cost. I highly recommend it to everyone especially those in early transition. I do have to disclaim though that it can be very painful, and it technically wasn't designed for facial hair, so YMMV, and it's to be used at your own risk (ergo I'm not responsible for you if it goes wrong!!!)

Just my two cents on Moom For Men.

God Bless

Good morning :)   I have coffee today, but the cup keeps leaking (I guess the cap isn't able to fully seal or something), so I keep having to wipe up the sides lol   Almost finished all my missing work for school, which means if I do a bit more work, I should be out of trouble with my parents (not even that bad of trouble compared to when I was younger, more just an annoyance haha)

Good morning 😘   Finished packing up my kitchen and pantry for fumigation today. I also modified my backpack to make it day-centre compliant.  I was able to get almost 2 hrs sleep last night, so I'll survive. 😑

I'll be going to some Pride events as a spectator.  Maybe marching in a parade if they have open participation.    The event we'd prefer to go to is held in a small town with a population of less than 600.  They have a parade through all three blocks of their downtown area.  Unfortunately, this year it is on the same day as a memorial service for a friend who passed away this winter, so we'll have to miss it.  So our second choice is a larger town, population about 9000, a bit farther away.    And we are keeping our eyes open for other events in the general area as they are announced.   I dress a bit flashier than normal, with some trans bling, such as rainbow or trans flag earrings, a trans symbol pendant, and a handheld trans flag to wave.  Political sentiment is turning against us, but public sentiment here is still strongly on our side, so getting out and showing the flag, both literally and figuratively, is important.

I had that going on with my last two partners who were 20 years older than me.  One of them looked older for her age as well.  I remember a couple times being in the grocery store a decade ago and having people ask "can I help you ladies with something?" and then I'd turn around with my red beard.  Well before I started transitioning, but my partner knew I was trans back then.   I struggle with this as well.  My music and political career can have a masculine edge to it that I don't like.  It's been really frustrating lately.  I don't like pushing myself on others or telling people what to do.  I've been running a website for 25 years and have virtually never tried to promote it or even look at any analytics.  I don't want to push it on anyone.  I put what I have on it and make it publicly available.  It's part of my production process.  It keeps me sane and if someone else can find it useful, then I'm happy to share.

I'm curious, but then if I am true to myself, I have a hard time being in crowds.  I love hearing great music, but being in an audience is such a turnoff for me that I don't go to concerts or bars.  I'm just very much a producer.  I actually like doing the dishes more than going to concerts because it's an active thing.

My therapist is trying a new tact. I've named my self protection self that ssays not eating or too much exercise because when I starting because oftrauma my protective self started and also at the time the name Shay came to me and is now part of my name.  It's not like having a split personality, just my primative self protection who is always there to help me. My therapist has Shay, me and him working as a team to assure her that I am safe and to start changing her role in my life so I protect me by eating right and exercising to maintain a heathy body. It is helping a little but we just started this a few weeks ago.
