The brand I am wearing these days is Capezio and i picked it up in a dance shop. It is an xtra large and it fits fine for my Height.

Mondor is another good brand.

Closest to a bodysuit is my mom's one piece swimsuit, with a dark, flowery pattern and a skirt at the bottom of it. Haven't worn it all day...I've never worn feminine clothing for a full day, wish I could, just once maybe though.... I also want to fall asleep sometime being feminine.... oh well.

Hey melissabloch,

Funny thing, I have never considered bodysuites!! What a great idea! I always wear stockings and other womans undergarments. I also wear tops and skirts or woman's slacks when I do errands. For some reason, bodysuites never crossed my mind!!

Thanks melissa,

I now have some more things to get for my wardrobe!!!

Actually, I really like bodysuits; if you get the proper fit/size they can be comfy. I like them because they help give a bit of shape to my figure, and they have awesome support. I have two thin ones for summer and two made from thicker material for winter.

Here are some good places to look at:

These others have sizes for Tall women:

Old cross dresser - new real time dresser chiming in here.

Body suits - especially dancer brands - are fun - but can be (1) expensive (2) hard to use when nature calls!

I switched to leotard and upper garment as MOST dancers use. Also if you ruin the leotard, you still have the top.

And then I discovered camosile dressing - ones with spandex and a built in supprt band bra. These are upper, but can be combined with tights. They slenderize and provide an excellant place for silicone inserts, without having to worry about a bra. And they come with beautiful colors and fancy embroidry - or lace - yummm.

Just an idea.

Oh Yes!

Gorgeous to wear and very sexy. I buy Danskin leotards which fasten under the crotch. If you buy them a little small they stretch over your curves and hold you in in all the right places. They're a dream with tights.

I get a buzz just thinking about them !

Hi Lizzy,

Camosile dressing - that's new to me. Do you have any links where I can look it up?

Body suits are just so cool. They are great for layering outfits and are very comfy. I wear them when working in my garden and yard. Bending over they stay put, no ride up.

Wear them during exercise walking and core training, feel fabulous.

I keep a weeks worth here and wear them often. I bought mine at bodysuits.com ( Courtney Gregg, Rita Sommerer ), very good quality and made in USA (yeah !).

Hello All:

Well, I have always worn leotards and I love to wear leotards. I have even worn my leotards all day on the weekend.

My favorite brand of leotards is the GK Elite Brand. They are a Gymnastic Style leotard and they could be quite pricy but they are so comfortable.

Here is the link to GK to check out. http://www.gk-elitesportswear.com

GK Elite is endorsed by Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin from the 2008 Olympic Womens Gymnastic compotation.

Hope that this helps out

i wear leotards and tights everyday. i like danskin best but, capezio is just fine. i agree they are pricey but, i've found that cheaper typically means less quality. if i see something cute in a department store i'll buy them. in the summer i switch to lighter tops, panties and tights. Target has great prices and styles. i have a lifetime kidney issue that requires me to go on schedule four times a day. i'll agree that for most guys using the bathroom wear a leotard and tights is an issue if you are tucked away.

Here is an interesting looking japanese site for zentai suits. It will be of interest to those especially who are into anime cosplay.

http://ayame-store.jp/en_shop.html

I've always found those to be very interesting and I've wondered what they are like...

And, I might buy a leotard sometime soon. Not sure though... I might use it for working out but... The main appeal is the shape/feel on my body, not sure if it's really worth the cash or not...

I've never worn a bodysuit or leotard, but there is nothing better than the feeling of a good, silky bodybriefer. I've tried several different types and I personally think the ones by Luleh (Liquid Satin) that you can get from Macy's are the very best. I actually have 3 of them now, but I don't get a lot of oppportunities to wear them on a consistent basis. I've tried other brands as well and the only other one that comes close are the more vintage Olga brands, but they are very hard to find anymore.

Thank you. I am just used to seeing trans guys who pass at like... 6 months to 1 year, at the most 3 years. And I just don't meet the mark, all the way at 6 years. It is possible with time I will masculinize more, but it's frustrating when I'm "behind" and may never catch up. It threatens my mental health mostly, possibly my physical health if I'm visibly trans (though I don't ever go out alone).

Boss is happy with everything with me and said I will be the only one that works on one customer's truck. This customer saw me clean a small grease spot in the inter of his Kenworh last week,on the steering wheel.A new customer too,saw me walk out with my tub o' towels wiping that grease stain off. This one,he cannot stand a grease spot in the interior.

Yeah, I am grieving the man I "should" have been. He will never exist, especially not in my youth. But I don't know how to healthily go about it instead of fixating on the life that could have been.

Sorry it took me a while to respond!    I would like to get to know you. :) I only have mental disabilities. Schizoaffective disorder, depression, and anxiety. The last two are severe and very treatment-resistant. I did have physical problems for some time, but it was caused by an antipsychotic medication (Invega). It basically crippled me, muscle weakness/fatigue, basically could barely walk (used mobility devices) and doctors were useless since they didn't suspect the medication I was on! I've finally ditched antipsychotics (hopefully for good, unless my symptoms come back). I usually don't share like this, especially in person, but hey, I'm anonymous. :)   I'm not expecting reciprocation at all btw, these things are personal. There is more to us than disabilities, so tell me about yourself if you still wanna talk!

thanks for the insight ... good to know things are being well thought-out ... it is no easy topic for sure, as many of us on here have been wrestling with this stuff for years and decades...

@KymmieLWOW! He is absolutely horrible! Definitely one of the worst boss's.
    • KymmieL
Well the boss is at it again. They misplaced a work order thinking I was the last one who had it, yesterday morning. I know where it is. Last thing I did with it was put it back on the counter. He accused me a couple times of having it last and put it somewhere. Come to find out, the other boss (his wife) had taken it. she put the work order paper in the recycle box.   Has he apologized about the accusations. He!! no. I am waiting for hadies to get frost bit.   So that was my morning.  But it is finally warming up here. currently 63 and windy.   Hugs, Kymmie

I am gender fluid, leaning heavily towards trans masc. My eldest is male and despite all the "stuff" we deal with with him (autism, speech delay, etc) I found him to be easy to raise. When my middle kid (female) was born, literally the first words out of my mouth were "I don't know how to raise a girl!" And I really felt I didn't know. She showed me. She's still showing me how to exist as comfortable and completely secure in her gender expression. It is entirely awe inspiring to see all three of them feel so settled in their bodies in ways that I never, ever felt or feel to this day.

That sounded like an awesome opportunity to dress as your actual self. I have to say I'm a little jealous lol. I never got compliments from people and definitely haven't been kissed. I can imagine that part was still really nice and boosted your confidence.

I've been absent so much lately I feel as if I'll never catch up. Too much going on in our lives that's kept me away from the keyboard. and limited my time as "me."   I am so looking forward to your post on how you arrange your life. I know that I won't ever be able to fully transition so finding some happy balance is crucial for me.

Mae, you are so sweet for making this comment.   Desert Fox, you are so right.  I always knew that even though I was part-time, my motivation was way more complicated than a simple desire to wear women's clothes.   Your question is a timely one because in my next post, I am going to talk about how compartmentalized my life is, and the short answer is yes.  I have friends who only know Sally, friends who only my male persona, and a rare few that know both.

@EasyE With my background in Behavioral Sciences I do go to actual conferences for the medical and psychological professionals that deal with Trans Youth, and in those conferences, the ethics of "too fast" versus "too slow and restrictive" are a heavy concern.  There is very thoughtful sharing among the participants for making professional judgments that the therapist is comfortable with without being afraid of what is "too soon" or "not soon enough" to advance to medical prescription therapies. The ethics of what constitute reasonable caution or unreasonable delay are deeply at play in those situations, with the idea to prevent harm while alleviating the patient's stress and other issues.  This type of conference fulfills Continuing Education license requirements that most states and other areas have.  From them the therapist may seem to "speed up" their evaluation process, but it is based on the accumulated experience of colleagues, just as is true in other professions and yes, even trades.
