I got to go out dressed in my forms, a nice pair of jeans and my pretty boot heels on Wed. granted it was only to the autoshop to drop off the car and then to Walmart to pick out a new bra. I carried a purse as well. It was totally awesome. I told my wife I felt naked without makeup. Tonight I got to dress up to the 9's and took a new picture for my avatar. I felt more girly than ever before this week. I got my new wigs and forms and I put my makeup on all by myself. My wife said I did a great job on it and I even picked out a great outfit. I am loving it and then my middle child said that it was like he had two moms when I was dressed up it made me feel great. my youngest wanted to walk around holding my hand all night my oldest still has some issues with the way I want to dress, but he is getting there.

It certainly sounds like your having a great time. Enjoy those clouds. Walking a few feet above the ground is even better than a pair of heels.

I'm glad you have the support of you wife and family. Don't forget your son is losing a dad so it will take him a bit more time to adjust. Perhaps you can spend extra time with him doing some somewhat male things despite your presentation. My son who is in his forties still loves it when we work together on some project but then again i'm a bit of a tomboy and still enjoy working the farm.

Hugs,

Charlize

just an update and a thank you for the wonderful thoughts and support. I have decided to meet my son in the middle and he is amendable to this. I have no desire to have my sex changed (I just like feeling pretty and the way dressing up makes me feel happy) and I really do enjoy doing guy things especially with my son. So, most weekends I am just dad no outward signs of Lynnette(I told him if he don't like me underdressing then don't ask if I am) and we do guy things like fishing or the shooting range or just a nice ride on the motorcycle and weds night I am dad when I take him to boyscout meetings and during the week I am Lynnette and he is fine with that. I believe this would be best for my relationship with him at this point and when he gets a little older I can bring out my Lynnette side on the weekends as well. He is adjusting but in his own time it is a bit of a shock for him because I was a manly man. I was a truck driver and biker and I told him Lynnette has always been there but it took me many years to let her out. My wife loves my softer side now that I have opened up and no longer afraid for her to see my softer side. I am no longer afraid to watch the girly shows when she is around I am no longer afraid to play my games as a girl avatar and I do love my Xbox and computer games but I always wanted to be a girl avatar and was afraid to it just felt right when I would create one and then have to erase it at the end. Life is good and now I get to actually live it to the fullest without fear of loosing my loved ones. My Parents have both passed away as well as my brother and sister so that is my only regret that they didn't get to see me smiling again and loving life. Sorry about the little rant but it feels soo good to get things off of my chest.

Hugs and Kisses XOXOXO

Lynnette - I love what you said about game avatars. I have unashamably played female avatars in Xbox, PS3 and PC games all the time. And I never delete them! The family are used to it. My current Skyrim playthrough has yet another female protagonist and she is awesome. She is my 'life' in the game. I totally identify with her. I have always played as a female. It is a really nice way to be the real me! I never play as a male.

The funny thing is, whereas most male gamers would get on with the action in the game, my having the PC version means I spend hours modding my game. And what am I doing? Hair, make up, tattoos, dresses, armour, speech, animations..... My long-suffering female avatar in Skyrim is actually spending most of her time in make-up rather than fighting.

In other words, she is more like a girl's make-believe dress-up doll than a violent game protagonist! I spend hours getting the right dress, the right looks, good hair, nice skin and make-up. Even down to exquisite polished nails and jewellery! It is completely ridiculous. Fortunately my family does not notice this. But for me it is absolute heaven! I love it.

still walking on clouds. I actually went out the other day in a dress. I was all dressed up with no where to go just like any other time. I just felt the urge to get dressed up, I wanted to feel pretty and dress in a new dress my wife had bought me. I put on makeup and one of my favorite wigs. My wife got off work early and decided to walk home so I was dressed up when she walked in the door. The first thing she said was you look pretty today. it really made my day. well we were watching T.V. when she said she needed some things from the store. Well she does not drive and the store is too far away for her to walk. I said let me change and I will take you. Well I got up and went in the bedroom and came right back out. I told her you know what it is dark out and I don't really need to get out I can just stay in the car with the kids. Even though I didn't have any interaction with the public it was still exhilarating. I went out for the first time in a dress. I go out all the time with jeans and if you look closely you can tell I have breast forms on, but this is the first time wearing a dress, makeup and a wig. This is one step closer to going out and interacting with the public. My wife said Baby steps are important when I feel the time is right she is and always will be there to support me. I do love her and I am so glad she is so supportive.

I think out in a car is one of the first moves many of us make into the outer world. I remember the wind hitting my legs and how wonderful it felt to be feminine and myself in the outside world. It may seem a small step but it is also a big one. Enjoy

Hi Fiona,

My two boys are 10 and 6, my little girl is 4. When I was all dressed up the other day my daughter saw me kiss mom and got mad and said Lynnette could not kiss her mom only dad could. she knows we are the same person but it was so cute. I asked then what should I do if I wanted to kiss mom and she said just take off the wig and makeup.

Thank you Charlize, I really want to work up enough nerve to get on the bike wearing a pair of shorts though as a dress would not be appropriate riding attire. I have a Yamaha V-Star, but I will eventually work up the nerve to ride her as Lynnette though, Baby steps. I am so looking forward to my next outing in a dress though. I really do enjoy feeling the wind about my legs and the dress gently floating about them. It was exhilarating to say the least.

Hugs and Kisses XOXOXO

Walking on clouds indeed! I bought my first dress today, and am just wearing it at home by myself. It feels so natural and comfortable! I love it.

Someday I'll dare to wear this in public. I'lll start by dressing up for my boyfriend on Cinco de Mayo. I hope he likes it as much as I do. :)

Please note that you would need to send an email to receive the actual survey link.   Seeking Interview Participants for Research Study on Digital Spaces of Transgender Belonging What is the Study About? Over the past several decades, the Internet has fundamentally changed how trans people form community spaces, explore gender identity, and practice community care. You will receive $75 after participating in an interview as compensation for your time. Your participation in this interview is completely voluntary. If you choose to participate, you will be asked to reflect on your history with trans online communities and resources. This will head for a court case and the notable fact that the people opposing puberty blockers is that they have not revealed their source and its competence.  It will be present the evidence and let your "experts" sit on the grill above the hot coals.

Pretty typical for many nations.... corrupt police, and only great effort by the victim's family will eventually yield prosecution.  Conviction is uncertain, and sentencing even more so.

Welcome to Trans Pulse, Bobbi.  It's nice to meet you.  I remember well all the emotions you mentioned upon starting on this journey, about 15 years ago now.  It's an exciting, albeit scary time, and there will be many questions and decisions along the way.  Any way we can help, all you need to do is ask.  We'll be here for you.   HUGS   Carolyn Marie

Everyone is their own person and has their own way of operating in the world. Being “enough” isn’t for anyone to judge, outside of maybe our closest loved ones, and definitely not those that are trying to measure themselves high by cutting others down. They know I wouldn’t succeed for very long—or at all—keeping my life bifurcated as you, but I am happy you are content with where you’re at with yourself.

My kids are grown now.  I realize I don't know the half of what they did.  But my parents didn't know the half of what I did either.  It's just how it works.   You kinda know, but please spare me the details.

@MaeBe, Good luck and best wishes on the new start in the Great Northwest. I don’t know a parent that didn’t call out their kids for being drunk or high as rebellious teenagers. I just told my teens that they can’t kid a kidder, and I was a teenager early 1970s we could drink legally at 18 so I have tons of experience spotting drunk kids.    As for the poetry, I liked it.  We never have enough support bras or tee shirts in the rotation.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Oh my @KymmieL, I’m sorry you’re on the job hunt again. They didn’t seem to be a good fit for you anyway. You deserve to be treated fairly and not undermined by competing owners who don’t communicate well.    Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋
