Transphobia from a transwoman

This may sound trivial, but it has irritated me for months. Back in 2012 I was contacted by a transwoman who had seen my name on another site. We lived in the same city, she wanted to be friends. Without going into a lot of details, this person was very moody and sullen, and had an unpredictable temper that flared up for the most trivial of reasons. Still, we went on a number of trips to Electrology 3000 in Dallas together (I paid trip expenses because of her financial problems). She kept saying that she wanted to be friends(in between fits of rage), but finally I called it quits.

But what really rankled was that next time I traveled to Dallas she was in the waiting room, I ignored her, and went into the office to report in. I told the girl that I would rather wait there than go into the waiting room, to avoid my "friend". After a while the "friend" walks u to the window of the office and, with a smirk and a sneer on her face says, in an elaborately mocking tone "How are you today, C-I-N-D-Y". My name was said in exactly the same sarcastic tone that a transphobe would use in making fun of your female identity. I just said "Humpt", and then I went into electrolysis.

I wish i could say that all trans* people are wonderful and worthy of friendship. It sounds like you had a difficult experience. Fortunately i have met some great folks as well.

Sadly there are many people regardless of thier disposition or where they are in life have a bad attitude to others for what ever reason , and I have struck a few and been ignored and walked past and would not talk to me and was at a large meeting , so I just walked away and went and talk with others away from there ,

I just put it down to people being who they are and nothing in common I have my life with my real friends and I don't need to be bothered with those who , well you know not really good friends . you soon learn who your friends are
