PG Things you like to do when CD

Here are two odd things I enjoy doing while cross dressed:

1. Doing the dishes,

2. Walking down stairs.

Well, I'm not CD in public so that limits what I can do. :D

What are some normal things you find yourself enjoying more when dressed up?

These are not odd things at all. Part of cross dressing, at least for me, is doing the everyday things. I rarely go out myself, so staying home, doing laundry, washing dishes, making the bed, etc, are all fun things to do while dressed. Doing chores like this helps me get a better feel for acting feminine, and that carries over into everyday life. Although, I have not yet found a ladylike way to scoop out cat litter boxes ;-).

Hello from a fellow Virginian, by the way. Feel free to send a message to say hello.

I think I came to it the other way round lol

Starting from the washing up and cleaning then on to dressing to suit. That was one of the things which, interestingly, seemed to reduce any kind of guilt / worry when I did begin to start dressing around the house. If you live like a woman (stereotypically) then why not dress like one!

No issue with cat litter boxes though :) but they do have several cats next door so there are sometimes issues in the garden :(

I feel PG might be a little bit as a frame of mind at a given time, I mean, I find wearing the same cloths at different times has given me a different sense of being who I am? I'm kind of thinking before coming out and after? Before , my sense was confused sick and driven by societies stereo types . Since coming out and being free to allow myself to relax and explore what Cross Dressing could really be for me, I guess I kinda went from one extreme to another.

Ok, so the PG things I do since coming out ? LOL !!!!

Well that's simple "Everything" ! Like, I mean I have to try changing the oil in my truck , n when there was too much snow on the roof , well I had to get dressed for that! Painting, of course ! Ruined a perfectly good wig painting and found it kinda tuff standing on a ladder while I wore my high heel shoes :( Definitely have to sleep cross Dressed :) I really didn't have a big wardrobe to choose from so cloths didn't fit the task. :banghead:

Today things are settling down and I seem to have a desire to just be more normal minded about the things I do cross dressed

Think Lara might be growing up!!! I've had time to build up my wardrobe, so I can ware cloths more suited for the task lately.

All kidding aside, I just like being dressed as myself, even if I go out and cover my girls cloths with my man's cloths .

It's really very nice to do everything I normally need or want to do in a PG kind of way

I do chores dressed. Perhaps adding the dancing to it would make it even easier.

I go shopping and to Al-Anon CD.

I spend most of my time singing and dancing in the mirror. I find that it is the ultimate expression of my feminine feelings. I actually can sing, I have a wide vocal range and I am find it very easy to sing in a female voice when I am dressed up. All the music I singalong with is of female divas like Shirley Bassey. When I am not doing that I just like to lie on the bed and relax and watch the tv.

Random one this, but I once ironed a dress before putting it on. I was ironing in just my panties, bra and tights and I thought to myself "I quite like this", so I try to do all my ironing whilst dressed up.

I also love to sing and dance while dressed - a good vocalist like Christina Perri or A Fine Frenzy really puts me in the mood. And I sleep every night dressed (I have my own bedroom separate from my wife, so this works out well). And I read and post to this forum.

but I am in love with the ironing idea. I just got two new dresses, so.....

Love to all,

Courtney

This is a very cool and fun topic,.......I am new here and take this all quite seriously, but too much time on some of the forums can be a little intimidating and scary!..........I love to sit and watch tv, prepare a snack, and play with the cats and dogs. I will never forget the first time that I appeared in front of our lab dressed to the nines with make up and wig. She stopped and looked at me, seemingly not certain of who this person in her kitchen was. All I had to do was speak and she sniffed me and all was normal again. Of course, your dog will always love you! ( giggle )

You are more brave than I. It's only 60 here right now.

I was doing my best to get past the fear and shame i felt whenever i went out in public so when i went to therapy and later to my doctor i presented as the woman i felt myself to be.  There was a policy that one had to live as their chosen gender for a year prior to starting HRT.  In some ways that seemed almost right to me as one of the hardest things we do is the entry into society as ourselves.     Of course the way you dress is up to you but be assured that your doctor is there to support not denigrate your decision.   Hugs,   Charlize

And now wearing my hiking dress/swimsuit cover dress as I prepare to kayak back to my truck.

You are right, there are no actual 'roos in Tassie, just their smaller cousins like wallabies and pademelons. Devils are really cute. If you got to see the adults in full noise, you can easily understand why they got portrayed that way in the Looney Tunes cartoons! Emus, or 'bush chooks', have a habit of sneaking up on you and stealing food. I was at an open range zoo a few years ago and was holding a bag of pellets behind me to hide it from the emus in front of me, when one snuck up behind me and stole it. I've never jumped so high in my life! I almost needed to change my undies! 😆

wearing my bathing suit at a rocky beach. At the same lake as the one I fell into from the kayak a few weeks ago. Watson (my chihuahua) and I took a nice swim and sunbathed for a little while.

I searched for a bag that felt right and worked for me.  Eventually i found an old leather Coach bag.  I've carried it for over 10 years now.  Occasionally i use Lexol  to revitalize the leather as i did on the tac for horses years ago.  The leather has become soft and the clever fittings on the bag have preventing too much wear.  It's pretty big so perhaps i carry too much.   Hugs,   Charlize

Home crumbed chicken schnitzel, with scalloped potatoes, peas & corn.   We try to plan our dinner meals ahead for the week, so getting in early - tomorrow night will be lamb chump chops baked in the oven with a honey/soy marinade. In the same dish will be potato and pumpkin segments. The other veges will be string beans and cauliflower.

Yep.   I sometimes get busy on another forum which has a wide array of general interest subforums. Everything from politics to tech to money to sport. There have been plenty of times where I have quoted people and given examples which demonstrate why their posts were either bollocks or at least tangential to the thread title, only to have my reply hidden because it was deemed to be off-topic...yet their off-topic post that I quoted remained intact!    Freedom of speech per se should be upheld, BUT...is it just me, or does it sometimes seem like the biggest proponents of it prioritize their 'rights' over their responsibilities? Maybe it is just me, but does anyone else feel like there is a cohort of people out there (not here!) who defend their hate speech under the guise of free speech? Whether it be on an internet forum or in real life, there must be rules and regulations.   Our moderators here do a truly fantastic job, and this forum really is a rare treasure. What helps is that above everything that does get discussed including the differing opinions at times on non-core issues, we are all on the same side!

Good morning everyone,    It’s a dog life thing, with a puppy influence. We slept until 06:00 at which time Parker made his first soft bark from inside his crate. I got up and got ready to go outside so he could take care of business and potty. Then we played with his favorite toy 🧸 and tug of war and fetch. Coffee has finished brewing and my first cup is flavorful Folgers Black Silk.    I hope you have a wonderful day and can be who you were meant to be.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Self-compassion is simply the process of turning compassion inward. We're kind and understanding rather than harshly self-critical when we fail, make mistakes, or feel inadequate. We give ourselves support and encouragement rather than being cold or judgmental when challenges and difficulties arise in our lives.
