Well tonight I started using Efflora, a generic version of Vaniqua. Twice a day, four to six weeks to see results.

It's supposed to turn facial hair, notice I didn't say thick woolly beards, into fine soft slow growing girly peach fuzz. So what? No more regular shaving. Maybeee??? even waxing. I've been studying how that's done. Do it wrong, way bad day!

Why doesn't she just spend her money on electrolysis? I don't know, maybe I played with too many chemistry sets when I was a kid. Just to know if it can be done. Just to be different. Maybe I'm crazy?

This will take a while, I'll bump this thread then.

I often wonder about strange ideas like this. I'm not a scientist, just my own science project. So things I have wondered may never be known.

Like for instance: Can a pre-op successfully take Livetra for a bigger, well you know, after starting HRT? I could not find any information so I was too scared to personally try it. Even the drug manufacturers were tight lipped. In ten days I personally from experience will never know. Just another of my theories, the hypothesis I will not have proven. That idea forever goes to the shelf, I'll be post-op. Sigh...

Oh wait, I wonder if it would help a post-op. Just for a moment picture this; she meets a well endowed gentleman and desires him to help her dilate more naturally? She takes the Livetra to gain extra depth... Ooooh, touch my navel... touch my navel! Giggle. It's getting late and I'm only getting sillier. I have the pre flight jitters, so insomnia prevails.

Wow! This Efflora tightens my face better than mint mask and ot stays on. Maybe I found the fountain of youth? Go to bed Jody! OK tuck me in. Hug. JodyAnn

I'm sure you are excited dear one. i'm a few weeks away from a procedure myself and it tends to fill my mind at times. If that face stuff works let me know. It seems cruel that most of my body only has soft thin feminine hairs while my face can still be sandpaper. I keep thinking of climbing into the chair for some electric zaps but i haven't been found guilty yet.

Hi JodyAnn, please keep us posted on how that works. I have had 3 laser hair removal sessions to date and started HRT 3 weeks ago. My beard has thinned and grows far more slowly but still annoys me. If there is a way to get around the smell of burning hair I would be all for it.

Dateline Arizona,

Day two: Only a very small amount is required to do my whole face and neck. I washed my face from yesterday's two applications, shaved dry and then applied the morning amount. It rubs in like lotion. Five minutes about, it has absorbed and my makeup goes right over it. It feels sort of like foundation. I noticed the dry shave was smoother with less razor drag. Very small difference but noticeable.

The 1.5 gram tube costs $40, I bought two at $67, four only costs $119 and their are coupon discounts and free shipping. A whole bunch of information for Eflora is on the web. It is a prescription drug. For me mail-order is a huge savings from Walgreen's. Don't misrepresent, or try to pull a fast one and it always comes without a hitch.

I am also wondering if Eflora will help with electrolysis? I could slowly let my facial hair grow out for sessions, tweezing would be about the same as a genetic woman. The hair growth wound not be a dead give-away and out me. At the point the hair is removed with wax it will come in even slower. The hairs will be soft with no blunt ends so stubble is not a scratchy deterrent.

Quick update: I'm not planning daily reports, but today's tid bit.

Realizing this medication works slowly, I'm not tauting any immediate results. I have been able to make subtle changes already. I have stopped using my Dermablend concealer, the Eflora when rubbed in is moist enough for powders to stick to and looks just fine. A wonderfully small amount is needed full face so it could be more cost effective than I first thought.

Another cost factor maybe is less frequent need to purchase new razor blades. I use Schick Titanium at about $12 a month any decrease can be factored as a cost reduction of the medication. More when results actually show. Jody
