Hello all:

wanted to say that lately I have been on a leotard buying spree and have been buying a lot of leotards and wearing a lot of leotards. I feel like that I cant stop and love them.

Anyone else ever had a attachment to clothes and have just gone crazy buying one particular piece and could not stop?

Thank You

Sometimes i do buy several similar items in a sort of spree. I found a great place for interesting socks and have shopped there several times over time. They just have such cute things. I probably have plenty of socks now but when they send me a promo i must admit to being tempted.

Hugs,

Charlize

Please - stop me buying corsets will you? I only ever wear them once and then it's on to the next one. Apart from that I just can't stop buying skirts....!

My winter time fare is tights and over the knee socks. If I'm not too distracted I even put clothes on on top too. Giggle. Frozen girls will let you know you missed something quick. Goes good with shorty shorts and a hoody.

Ooh, hot tea with whipping cream and a warm fire. Then that outfit is just plain sexy. Long warm hug. JodyAnn

Hello JodyAnn.

So you are a AZ person as well? Well, I really don't know about the leopard leotard. I am manily into the gymnastic leotards. the black short dress, or yes I want to get one.

Thanks

Hi Amy,

I have a hard time desiding which of my cloths are my favorite. I guess lacy panties but I also love bras, slips, cami's, pantyhose, skirts, tops dresses and I could go on.

Each day I have fun picking out which panties I will ware for the day. Some times it depends on what else I plan to ware. I like to be coordinated.

Hi Amy,

I went on a camping trip last week and I had a chance to stop at one of my fovorite stores, the Hanes, Bali, Legs discount store. While there I purchased 9 panties and three bras. They were all on sale at a very good price. Once I was at camp and had my tent set up I had a wonderful time trying them on and choosing which ones to ware for the rest of the day and weekend. I'm back home now and everything is put away in my underware drawer. What fun :).

Have fun and enjoy your favorite things.

Hugs

Sandra

I generally wear classic styles of blouses and skirts. When dressed up for formal occasions, I prefer straight- line dresses cut below the knees paired with classic pumps. I will occasionally wear my little black dresss with black papent heels.

I LOVE sweaters! Can't get enough of them in every style and color. It's the only thing I look forward to about colder weather. Oh, and tights too.

I am a huge fan of skinny jeans that come up past your waist right now. Also I love to wear sweaters with them and when I'm not wearing them it mostly skirts and dresses

Skinny jeans, wool/knitwear, and plain ankle boots - very androgynous. I love scarves too, but since I've never really worn them before it's taking a while to remember to wear them let alone get used to them!

I still haven't found any tops other than baggy t-shirts that I'm comfortable with, which is why I wear jumpers a lot.

One of my best friends does fashion at Uni and I plan to come out to her first - definitely going to help with the clothes situation!

For the past 5 years I have really been interested in the Lolita fashion. This has nothig to do with the book by Nobokov or the movie. This is based on either girls' clothing around the turn of the century and also the Rocco fashion of the previous century. It is very frilly, with lots of bows. It uses pastel colors, especially pink and blue. Patterns are often cakes, pastry, animals such as bunnies and teddy bears. Unlike modern fashion, with the the body is covered almost completely. Skirts and dresses are knee length or longer. Kneesocks or tigths are worn. Blouses are long sleave, and event the head is partly covered with a ribbon or some of other headgear. Shoes are roundish, with straps and bows. High heels can be worn but not very high. Flats are common. This is a very conservative, feminine style. Lotlita is a generic term. There are a variety of styles, such as Sweet Lotlita which is the most popular, like the one I decribed above. Gothic Lolita is more severe, using black and white.

A search on google should give you more info.

Oh, Lord, Amy please don't get me started on boots! I love boots. Not for any particular reason other than they always look so smart and feel so cosy and comfy when worn. I really enjoy the different designs and styles and have everything from ankle through to thigh boots! I'm not 'oddly' inclined over them, not in the least - I just really appreciate the fashions. the design work and the comfort of them! I am so sad not to be able to wear them all the time apart from when I dress. Men's shoes are unimaginative trash compared to the ladies' wear.

After that? Well, I love a beautiful skirt - so feminine and so many designs to set off tops - and boots.

Oh I give up. I like it all! There's nothing better than not being a male and being dressed.

We should submit all of the poetry from this site's Poetry Forum and see what they think of all that good stuff!    I'd love to frame their rejection letter.   Carolyn Marie

Your brother is the person who has decided that "sin" is involved because he has lost control of a part of his life by you taking on your authentic self.  It is not because you have committed any Sin per se, but because he is no longer controlling your life, evangelicism or other wise.  He is using formula words and ideas hoping to re-gain that control over you.  Your Roman Catholicism vs. his choices of religion would be enough to do it in many many cases.  Your being Trans is just one more area of his losing his control.   If your brother were also Roman Catholic, I suspect he would be the same way about you on just the Trans issue itself no matter what your priests would tell him -- he has lost control of your life and is afraid he has lost control of his life.    Family members of any religion who fear loss of control will often cite scriptures they believe support their Position.  If Bible verses are needed, Matthew. 10:34-8 which speaks of division in families over religion would be a casual point directed at your brother's control issues.

This might help. These are the grace and lace letters dealing with Christianity and transgenderism from someone who struggled with the "conflict".   https://www.digitaltransgenderarchive.net/catalog?f[collection_name_ssim][]=Grace+and+Lace+Letter&sort=dta_sortable_date_dtsi+asc%2C+title_primary_ssort+asc

Back again love conquers all I don’t think my wife and kids would hold me hostage but if I explain it right to them it might prove how much I’ve lived them over many years

I am an evangelical  I am also transgender.  This is an issue. I have read up on it.  I am not an expert, but I have done a lot of reading.   One thing I do not get about people who take that position is that evangelicals are all about salvation by faith alone by Christ alone by grace alone - unless you are transgender.  Then you cannot be saved, these say, unless you do the work of un-transgendering yourself.  Which is, practically, impossible.  I have read the "solutions" and I don't buy them, obviously, because they do not work.    In evangelicalism salvation is by faith alone, Christ alone, grace alone, without any merit of our own.  That means, to an evangelical, we come to Christ as we are,  in the words of a glorious hymn,   1 Just as I am, without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me, and that thou bidd'st me come to thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   2 Just as I am, and waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot, to thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   3 Just as I am, though tossed about with many a conflict, many a doubt, fightings and fears within, without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   4 Just as I am, thou wilt receive, wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; because thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come.   We do not clean ourselves up BEFORE we come to Christ.  We let Him clean us up AFTER we come to Him.    Those who insist that transgender people cannot be saved are actually preaching another Gospel, a Gospel of works, and have wandered away from the glorious Gospel into works.  That is strong but true.   Struggling with legalism and grace, I have found more of God's mercy and grace available to me because I struggle with being transgender and seeking His resolution of it.  Which, not having the struggle, I would not have needed to seek Him earnestly on this.

Eventually, (especially if you start T,) things will even out. The excitement you feel is from everything being so new. Finally knowing yourself and having others recognise you can be thrilling. However, because it is your natural state of being, eventually that wears off. There's nothing exciting about it anymore because it's "just you." (Which is a perfect thing to be!) This, however, can lead to disappointment. Trust me when I say however, that that disappointment and jarring reaction to wrong pronouns will go away, and you'll once again feel comfortable in yourself.

I love long hair. I'm wanting my hair to touch the floor. I guess we shall see how long it can get.

I wear a wig most of the time.  But I can get by with my natural (shoulder length) hair if I wear a hat or something to cover the mostly empty top. Unfortunately that train has left the station, sigh.
