The First Cut Is The Deepest... Sorry thats the only line I remember...

All since I got here, it has been run, run, run to this doctor, that doctor, all so concerned. My blood doesn't clot right, my heart doesn't pump right, untreated asthma, I'm anemic. Geez it's not that big a deal, makes me want another cigarette! It is what it is. Alright already!

On and on about informed consent. Yup got it! I wasn't withholding with my information originally, let's say I didn't puff my wares. Jody used car, as is, where it. If it goes arye, the blame rests with management. ME!

Yesterday I had a wonderful miracle. Tired of waiting, being bad, I went out by black sludge canal for a smoke. I wanted a walk adventure. I sasched down the street, in the distance three children were trying to get my attention. Nope won't go there, messing around in a new land overly friendly to kids is dangerously stupid.

I smiled at them and crossed the street to SevenEleven to window shop. I searched all the choices of what not. I settled on a needed 220vdc adapter set for my phone. Surgey early oops gotta go...

Waiting to pay, I looked down to see I had been adopted by three little shy admirers, two girls and a boy. They looked up at me, they looked at each, then down at my high heels. The little guy looked up at me so I smiled and winked. All three were grinning from ear to ear. He moved to stand tall beside me to show the girls how tall I was compared to him. They giggled and chattered, we a shared warm accepting smiles. My turn to pay. We bowed and out they went, having found what they were seeking.

Back on my way up the street my back was turned so they couldn't see the tears of joy flowing down my face. What a wonderful mom moment. Those three little smiles are indelible imprinted on my heart forever.

Adults think they are hip, slick and cool sneaking my picture, if I'm not in the mood I turn away and wreck the shot. Mostly I smile and strike a pose. Giggle. that really catches them off.

My little sumpin, sumpin is really starting to smart. My sleeping pill will fix that. Gnite all. Jody

I'm sending you my thoughts and prayers. They are flying across miles of land and sea and will hopefully arrive so that when you have achieved your goal they will be waiting to embrace you with warmth and love.

Gentle Hugs,

This afternoon is a coast. Floating on a cloud of morphine, watching Bangkok cloudy day from my tenth floor window.

Sort of watching the off-road races trying to learn anything of the Thai language. Singing and wiggling (can't dance just yet) to an Air1 webcast.

They brought mt little afternoon snack that comes in what looks like a present gift box, in a way it is.

Shhh... I'm scheming, I'm going to get dressed and see if I can sneak past the girls and go down to the first floor coffee shop. Hope I don't get busted. More later.

I dressed and put my drain bags under my skirt. I started to slip out but was greeted by what seems to be a volunteer group. They handed me a bottle of the best juice. No idea what it is. I'm saving the bottle until I can read Thai, then I will know what it is.

My second attempt I slipped though to the elevator, it only goes to the second floor. No problems with the steps. Got the coffee and back to my room. The nurses saw me return with no scolding, so I guess all of Bangkok is mine again.

That first adventure is enough for now. I'm already tuckered out.

I'm so glad it went well for you! already up and into mischief...

Um... That's an understatement. I just got busted big time! I got dressed, nurse said you going for walk? Yes.

I went down the elevator, no problem. Then met one of my off duty nurses on the second floor, told her I was going to cafe for tea. I slipped out the front and around the corner to have her coming out the employee door. I slipped from view until she made the parking lot.

I walked the 300' into SevenEleven, right into the door to two other nurses I know. Oops, guess it's shift change. I slid to the back of the store unnoticed. They left.

I found the box of tea I was after, then like a great big dummy I bought a fresh pack of L&Ms. I slipped down by the gaurd shack and smoked one. Instant wrong move!

My coochee started hurting immediately, my legs were rubber and a car pulled up and stopped. I think it may have been the nurses. I braced myself on a handrailing, as I came close to passing out. That smoke hit me like a sledgehammer. I had to keep moving or risk a big scene I didn't want.

I stepped inside the front door and found a chair, looking busy taking the wrapper off the tea box. Up the stairs, up the elevator, through the door to have a nurse waiting, someone had called ahead.

I was escorted to my room and dressed down about not leaving the floor. The intrigue was fun, the bone headed play is not.

If I don't post later it is probably because I'm strapped to the bed. Please notice no giggle. Dumb Jody

I second Cyndi, Jody,

Please don't overdo things this early on, it's just not worth the risk and especially while you're in a foreign country too. You want to be fit enough to travel home don't you? Don't you?

No more smokes for you until the doctor okays it! I love ya, Jody, but the most major surgery I've had was a walk in the park compared to GRS and a walk in the park is not called for just yet!

Glad you're doing well.

I'm being good today. I started my first floor walk at 3:30am. My little itsy bitzy was screaming for her morphine! A half an hour or so of walking calmed her way down. Checked my sugar all ok. Now weigh 103 bye bye Phatty Patty.

I went back to sleep, ate breakfast, another walk to promote leg healing circulation and it really does relieve the pain.

Getting in and out of bed is easier now. My red donut and I have an on again off again relationship.

I didn't ask for pain meds because they said something about the doctor coming at 10:00 to do something. Maybe release me??? I don't know.

Oh, yes, walking is good, but where you have help if you need it and not too much. No more overdoing, mkay?

They know this mare is galloping in the corral. My head is high, my nostrils flaired, my sparkling eyes twinkling with unpredictability, my mane bouncing in the breeze.

The best I can hold back is a fast trot. My pasture awaits, the adventure is unseen just over the next hill. My heavens are beckoning a bright new future. I won't run til I drop, I will rest when I need, I can't hold back, I'm not ever wired that way. Giggle. Hug. JodyAnn

JodyAnn Please follow instructions. I'm trying to do the same thing. I'm just home from an orchi. I can sit down now if i'm really careful. Considering how weak i feel i doubt i'll be able get back to playing on the farm for quite a few days. I don't want any of the complications.

Hugs,

I am thrilled! My surgeon answered a long list of questions. I passed the first test by sneaking out. He has told everyone my corral gate is open! No restrictions except to not overdo, listen to my body.

He explained specifically the ways I can tear my body up if I'm not careful. My packing comes out tomorrow. I'm healing super! The seeping into the drain has long since stopped.

All my day nurses and I have crazy fun!!! I've never been to a hospital where I haven't turned it upside down. I heal so well because I refuse not to.

Going to the hotel I will be bored and left to my own devices. Then I will have to be very, very careful. I'm so happy this was all given to me!

In my afternoon snack box they smuggled me in more milk, they know I love tea and cream, I'm drinking it with the greatest of joy in every cup! One more stroll before my afternoon nap. Time for my E shot first!

I had a horrible night! This packing has got to go!!! I floated off to sleep ok, then woke in the middle of the night to pure hell! The worst it's been. My packing was eating my you know what. Biting and itching and chewing unbearably.

My bed turned me into a sandwich and was knawing on me too. I was crying and asking for another shot. All I remember I kept saying: I hurt! I hurt! My nurse said No madame Jody, I cannot. She helped me from the jaws of my bed. I flopped down on the sofa, she covered me up and I cried my self to sleep.

Wow! That damn packing hurts. I actually slept good. I heard the door at about five. Still a witch, I only stuck my arm out from my blanket cocoon for my vitals. I didnt want to see or be seen. My coochee was asleep, God don't wake her...

...one eye woke up and peeked out the blanket. My breakfast sitting on the coffee table. OK damage accessment... Warm, much comfortable, poor little choochee still hurts like crazy. Food, yes hungry, oh wow! Ginger tea! My favorite. Jody you don't feel good but stop being a witch... Just as I thought that the door opened. My nurse knew I had a very rough nite. She took my vitals, gave me my shot and helped me up.

Still feeling like an ugly troll I wrapped my stolen United Airline blanket around my bedhead, after taking a selfie of how rotton I look. I took a two lap hallway walk ouching and whimpering the whole way. I AM NOT GOING TO LET THIS THING WHIP ME!!! my airline homemade hoodie hid my tears. The walk did me good to get out of self.

I came back to my room to find a fresh made bed and to my glorious surprise the morning copy of Bangkok News. They know how much I want to be a part of. This helps. Now I have to find a way to make amends for being last nights old hag. Love. Jody

Aww... How sweet you noticed! Yes, bright hot neon glowing pink!

My next installment is the packing coming out this afternoon and a much needed shower. I have time for a quick walk. Gotta run for now.

Tender yes, we could help each other up and down. Giggle.

Awwwww Jody,

I'm so sorry that you had such an awful night. Don't worry about how you were with the nurses - they'll have experienced worse I can assure you. It could be that your 'coochie' was telling you that you have been doing too much too soon. I know that mine certainly lets me know when I've overdone things. Listen to her Jody.

My present has been unwrapped for me at 1:00pm! Now folks that was a weird and I cannot say at all painless. Some stinging, a few sharp pains while it tickled. I laughed while I cried but it was bearable, a means to an end.

They gave me a mirror. I'm puffy and very swollen, but it will be gorgeous! Just what I asked for. Right now she is in shades of bright red, to dark purple. One day soon she will be pretty pinkish-biege. I'm so very happy.

I can't quite put my knees together yet. That dumb packing and very wide adhesive tape from above my navel, down my thighs and around to my butt felt like I was walking with a basketball squeezed between my legs. Wet, clammy, itchy and oh yes so glad it's gone.

I got my motor!...I got my motor!... I got my motor!!! HAPPY DANCE!!! OK God, whatever comes next is cool with me!

Maybe a bikini wax for the anniversary of the pain. Giggle. JodyAnn

Good luck on selling your wife on the idea of a different car. This could be tougher than negotiating with a dealership.   My wife agreed to my taking profit out of the company to buy a used truck once we found out the 2014 F-250 I currently had with 267,244 miles on it was needing new torque converter solenoids and the DEF system is chocking up. We bought a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, Duramax 4X4, with 163,000 miles. LTZ Off Road package, power mirrors, chrome step boards, rear camera, exhaust brake, and air lift bags on the rear suspension. It belonged to a friend of mine who also owned a mobile training business.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

At the other end and in our favor is Julia Serano's analysis of the Cass Report Fiasco   https://juliaserano.medium.com/the-cass-review-wpath-files-and-the-perpetual-debate-over-gender-affirming-care-8f56d0c4d0c6   Serano is a Trans Woman and a molecular biologist herself, guess whose evaluation I honor.

That's great @MaeBe hopefully the company will offer your wife a moving package with the new job position. That's how I was transferred from the St. Louis Metro area to the Indianapolis Metro area. The company covered all the moving expenses, as well as a three week stay in an extended living hotel while we chose an area to build our current home.   Good Luck and make it a happy adventure.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

@Birdie is the day care in charge of your MyChart, Hospital, and Doctors as to how you are cared for? There has to be some way to prove that you were born intersex and have a choice on your chosen pronouns. I wish we could do more for you. Keep pushing forward.   Hugs,   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

The Republicans are not interested in compromising.  Johnson will be gone for compromising unless the Dems help him out.
    • Abigail Genevieve
Biden campaigned as the master negotiator, able to push legislation through Congress.   Whatever bill a Dem president, a Dem Senate, and a Rep House can agree on might be  more palatable than a bill with a R president, R Senate and R House given present attitudes. They are throwing away a chance.
    • Ivy
A bill like this would never get through congress, even if it were allowed to be voted on.

Ha, that's funny - I swear this is the one I used to use in high school to get around school blockers and play games. 😅🤦‍♀️   Though I'd be wary of using a free VPN today, if your only intent is bypassing censorship, I guess it works. Proton VPN also has a free tier with a limited selection of countries/servers. I feel more comfortable recommending them as they actively try to fight censorship with new evolving VPN protocols, and they protect your privacy. They are also directly funded by their paying customers. So there is really no downside to using their free tier over another free VPN that may not have the same goals/values.

That sounds pretty accurate. I'm just glad I don't use Windows anymore, as I basically consider Windows itself a virus/malware. Backups can absolutely save you from some types of malware like ransomware. However it's ideal to just not get infected by having smart browsing habits. It's been said, and very accurately so, that the best antivirus is you - even the best antivirus isn't 100% accurate in detecting bad stuff, if you go out looking for that stuff or browse carelessly.   I guess if you don't care and/or don't have sensitive data on your PC, then that's fine I suppose. I personally care a lot - personal accounts, private messages, and even my very presence on this site aren't necessarily things I want to be public knowledge. 🤓🫠
