Hello, Just Starting My Transition.

I am new here and just started to talk to a Therapist about my desire to transition(which I have not done yet, but wanting to start here very soon), I am 38 years young and located in the Michigan, I hope that I can meet new friends and help get some information and information about transitioning. I am very excited about being here and eager to start my journey.

Thank You, everyone so far is very nice which helps a lot with me beginning my transition. I do have a few questions though, I am looking to start growing my hair out more and until I can start on my HRT where I would get more of the desired look and feel of my hair, is there anything that would help with this that can start me on my way?, also I have not started to wax or shave yet my leg's or facial hair, and I know electrolysis is the way to go but until I go in that direction is there anything that you would recommend for me to get started before I go down that road?, Thanks again and it is so nice to be here.

I am Angie, twenty three months in transition,eighteen months living full time,with all documentation,saying I am a female.About the only thing we are not allowed to discuss

here,are the dosages of the drugs involved in transition.This is a very safe and supportive

Yes I am lucky and have a good job in the IT/Medical Field, nothing though is 100% for sure in today's world, but I am thankful for what I have right now and seems stable. I appreciate all the great encouragement so far from here which defiantly helps and makes it easier to feel comfortable and *open* my-self up to this new journey in my life. It just seems over-whelming right now in how to get started and where to start, I know that talking with a therapist was the right thing to do first and of course doing my homework from reading the forums and other TS educational sites helps as well but still not sure which is really the next direction for me in my transition, I am still learning though and really helps me to know that you girls are here for me when I need someone to talk with!~hugs!~
