Now I lay me down to sleep. What do you like to wear?

Who me? Well kids here is your bedtime story. When I was a young CD, with my spouse gone for the weekends, I would enjoy my slinky negligee.

Later living alone with my kids after the divorce of my second ex. I was transitioning nicely, so I treated myself to a long elegant nightgown mail ordered from Carol Wright Gifts. I looked wonderful in it, but is was so darn slippery in bed. Sort of like trying to snooze on the highly waxed hood of a car. Giggle. I think it is still in a box in storage as a keepsake.

These nights I now love my pink cotton night shirts. One is big and blousy, just at the knee. One is plenty short with cute cartoon type print, careful when you bend over Jody! And my favorite I have on as I write this, my pretty plain pink, just above the knee, gathered yoke type bustline that plunges a little. It's so comfy, my room mate always liked it on me as she said it flattered my curvey shape. Woo woo!

Now it's your turn to satisfy my curiosity. What do you like to wear to sleep? Hold the pictures please, no I won't give 8X10 autographed glossies. Even the guys can chime in here too, so what if you like your birthday suits?!? Snicker. Hug. JodyAnn

Nite,nite...Zzzzzzz...

For me it all depends on what kind of mood I am in that night. Some nights I sleep completely nude. Others a pair of panties. Others a nightgown. And at times my comfy PJs. With me, ya just never know what I'll be sleeping in. Most of the time even I don't know, until I'm actually getting in bed.

Seasons certainly play a role here. I'm presently wearing mid calf cotton nighties and socks as the temps drop. I've got a red, pink and green. They are so cozy when it's chilly.

In the summer i wear panties and a T.

Charlize

My hubbies t-shirts make the best un-restrictive sleep wear. I usually combo that with a pair of pajama bottoms or pajama shorts. in the summer tank tops and pajama shorts tend to be my go to. I have never had much of a preference in sleep wear generally what ever is handy.

I can't seem to do pajama pants, so it's usually a tank top and pajama shorts. I don't like anything too restrictive when I'm sleeping. Something cute, comfy and cotton.

"I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when its hot!

I wear my woolen undies in the winter when its not

And sometimes in the spring time, and sometimes in the fall

I crawl between the sheets with nothing on at all!!

For me a loose cotton nightgown. No buttons, short sleeves in the warm months, long sleeves in the winter. Pajamas for lounging OK for the evening. Many years ago when the ups and downs of my journey were common to my true self I would purge my female cloths time to time, but never my nightgowns Smile's...Sarah

What a great crowd for a party. We can all sing Vicky's song. Watch out and don't spill any milk in my bed. Watch the cookie crumbs as well. Oh no i'll never get any sleep. "Your boyfriend did what?" "Oh my, naughty boy"

Hugs,

Charlize

In the summer it is usually a cami top and panties. For the winter it is a cheap cami dress which makes a brilliant nightdress. I have three of them in different colours. If it gets really cold I have fleecy pyjamas.

(Back in male only days it was birthday suit :) )

During the winter I wear some night gowns. My wife gave me a nice blue gown as a Christmas present.

In the summer I don't wear anything.

usually I just sleep in underwear, since where i'm from the weather is really hot, but if I had the choice I would probably choose some silky pajamas.

It's nice to care about others but you need to live your life as you please. No one be your only source of happiness. Love yourself and don't look back. I lost over 40 family members it hurts but apparently, they didn't truly love me. True love will always be there through the thick and thin. I can honestly say that HRT has made me think in ways that I never thought I would. I get myself some shoes or clothes every month because retail therapy not only helps but it is a reward to myself to show love. I have over 100 dresses. I have a whole walk-in-closet full of clothes and 67 pairs of shoes. I love who I am. I was born in 84 so not all people in the 80's think that way. As far as the name just take your time and be happy with it. I knew I loved the name Ashley. Take care and welcome!

Congratulations Sam,   The common saying her once someone starts HRT is: “Enjoy the ride.”   Best wishes, stay positive and motivated    Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

WOW @Ashley0616 it’s good that you have skills to treat traumatic injuries, as well as the ability to remain calm while managing others needs to get yourself and the boys ready to go to the hospital. Proud mama bear skills. I’m glad that he’s doing well.    Meanwhile back at the ranch, we slept in and I’m just now finishing my 3rd cup of coffee.    Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.   Mindy🌈🐛🏳️‍⚧️🦋

Well yesterday was not fun. I was getting ready to make dinner and I hear screaming and crying. I look over and my son put his foot through glass. He gashed near his Achilles tendon. Thankfully that is intact. I didn't freeze for a second. All of my military training came into play. I doctored him up and got Jett ready and myself and we headed to the ER. He is doing ok today. He says he is in pain but doesn't need Tylenol. He is a tough cookie!

Hi,   It's seems today is my trans birthday.  I'm beyond excited. Just picked up my testogel from the pharmacy. Although I naturally have doubts as I'm sure do we all, they are rapidly disappearing. Yesterday I was so nervous I kept claiming I'm not trans, despite grinning like a fool knowing I can pick up my prescription the next day. I'm shaking and on the verge of happy tears. I will put on my first sachet this eve. Thanks so much to this forum and kind words from people. This is the first forum I found when I began seriously questioning.

While the Soviet Union did not end up being the source of all evil, I believe that history has shown that Joe McCarthy generally was right. There ARE all kinds of Marxists slithering around. And if that had been dealt with firmly 75 years ago (or more) the nation wouldn't be in the shape that it's in now.    And while I generally oppose the idea of intervening in foreign affairs, the world probably would have been better off if we had taken care of issues in Russia and defeated the Bolshevik Menace back in 1919. God bless the memory of Admiral Kolchak.   Getting back to project 2025, my belief is that Republican efforts are inappropriately focused on trans folks. A minority of a minority does not wreck a nation. But it is easier to focus on trans folks because they can look like they're doing something. They don't have to address the real problems, and really they don't want to address them because they would have to address themselves.  They would also need to admit that the 50 State version of the USA cannot be saved.

@Willow things went pretty well on Monday. I have been working on the project all week long. I've been hanging out with my husband a lot, since he said that nobody would mind because I'm working on company stuff. My work is going slowly, but it is going. Rather better than I had hoped.   I ended up waking up late this morning. After 18 months of only working on house chores, not really used to doing anything else. Actually a little bit tired

Getting back to this… I've seen objections to Critical Race Theory, but simply "critical theory" is a new one on me.  I think we need to be "critical" about a lot of things, or at least examine why we believe what we do about them.  If they stand up under scrutiny, great.  If not perhaps we need to look at something else.   Not all socialists are Soviet Russian Communists. I have read very little Marx myself.  That kind of writing bores me quickly.  But I think there are legitimate concerns about unfettered capitalism.  There are countries that seem to do well on a mixture of capitalism and socialism.  But I am no Tankie.   The Red Scare kinda morphed into the Lavender Scare, and now we have this Transgender Scare.   The thing is, most people are scared to get to know any of the people they are scared of. I'm not scared of evangelical christians.  But I am a little scared of what they seem ready to do to me, because they are scared of me. I am not a scary person - don't want to be.  I'm just an old trans woman trying to mind my own business, and get with what's left of my life. And the 2025 project seems to be designed to make that difficult.
