Looking for bra/breast advice

I'm wondering if there are any cost effective ways to help give my chest some curves without buying really expensive breast-forms! I also need advice on bra buying, I have no idea what to measure or what I should get, any help here would be appreciated! I'm looking forward to HRT and natural breasts (even if they are small) but for now I just want to be able to fill out some nice tops ;)

Slowly working on my outfits, but my body shape is still really awkwardly large :X

This is a great link to wiki-how on finding your size. Enjoy. http://www.wikihow.com/Measure-Your-Bra-Size

I especially like the idea that brands may vary. It is good to be aware of that. ?It seems to often be the case with women's clothing. Sometimes i think they say a size 12 is a 10 so when you try it on you'll feel good about yourself.

Hugs,

Charlize

There are tons of cheap ideas on how to create breast enhancement here in the forums. In my early days I used everything from cotton quilt batting directly in the bra cups to bird seed or rice in panty hose. Water balloons were OK in looks, but had their problems if I got near people with an evil sense of humor, and at least once when one burst spontaneously. (I can now say from personal experience that they really do not feel like real breasts although some people claim that they do.)

In the beginning, bras are strictly for holding your enhancers, so only the band size is really important to you. I would suggest getting some of the cheaper brands such as Hanes, Playtex, or Just My Size (JMS) bras with a band size two inches more than the measurement of a dressmakers tape on the bony part of you rib cage below your nipples. I would start off with a "C" cup in that size and in a while go for the next cup size up or down.

There's lots of cheap bras out there but, but the trick getting a good fitting without buying a lot of duds.

A trip to a crossdressing shop is still the best way besides making friends with local people who have the

experience. In southern New England there are many, just search the web.

I prefer padded sports bras that have pockets for the padding and hold whatever you use for a breastform. Many

women prefer them as they are comfortable and the bra straps are sexy.

You can make forms out of anything and control the size from anything from manboob on up by making many inserts,

including foam and silicone seal if you want a sculptured look. You could even make them on a 3D printer! Also,

don't forget the bottom. The rule is the more on the top, the more on the bottom. Two pieces of soft foam cut

into the shape of Africa is the most common DIY. There are plenty of youtube tutorials to look at. But, the most

important thing is to find safe LGBT venues to show off your fashion until your sure you have a good pass going.

I used to use these bras that advertise themselves as 'two size bigger' being underwired and padded to push up existing breast tissue. Nowadays I have found a company that provides bras for the smaller lady (Dainty Lady based in Uk) who provide bras that fit me well with the tissue that is there. The end result is a bra that fits and so is comfortable, non underwired (more comfortable) and has medium padding giving pushup so does show as, admitedly small but feminine, boobs. Maybe not for you but I work at maximising what I have rather than falsifying and running into problems with slipped forms etc. Don't forget that many cis women have small boobs so unless you particularly want them large, I think as long as they show you as a women that is enough.

Thanks for the tips girls, in a wonderful and unexpected turn of events my mom is actually going to help me with this as well

I measured myself and I'm about 40inches around so a 42 band size would be good? I've joined a local trans-support group that meets in a city near me but the next meeting I can attend wont be until later next month; hopefully they can help me out too!

Sup singly, a superintendent prevented a student within the transgender community from changing current name, to the new name in which the student identifies with, I don't know how far back this story goes, but if you Google it under Oklahoma along with "student name change" the article should pop up. I'm not transgender, but I can relate to the process of legally getting a name change done, it's a lot of paperwork from court, a lot of traveling, and expenses depending on the laws from each state.

No one seemed to pay attention to me other than a young woman who complimented me on my skirt and an older gentleman who smiled at me as we passed each other.

Wow, I guess it’s the dat to be in trouble.  I’ve been hit twice by the ASM today and it’s my day off.  Why didn’t you, followed latter with a where is the.  Made me realize that I do t want to continue working long enough to pay for it. I guess I’ll just to have to stick with my 20 year old car for now.   I suppose sooner or later only one of us won’t be able to drive anymore.  Since I am older you might think it would be me but at this time i am the one that does all the driving except when she goes to church or the store when I’m at work.  She hasn’t driven anywhere since February and hasn’t driven more than 10 miles in perhaps a year.  Yet the “good” car was purchased for her not for me because she couldn’t drive the Jeep which we bought strictly for her because she wanted it.  But it turned out I was the one that really liked it.  Can’t win.

Good morning :)   I have coffee today, but the cup keeps leaking (I guess the cap isn't able to fully seal or something), so I keep having to wipe up the sides lol   Almost finished all my missing work for school, which means if I do a bit more work, I should be out of trouble with my parents (not even that bad of trouble compared to when I was younger, more just an annoyance haha)

Sending good thoughts for you, Raine.

Good morning 😘   Finished packing up my kitchen and pantry for fumigation today. I also modified my backpack to make it day-centre compliant.  I was able to get almost 2 hrs sleep last night, so I'll survive. 😑

I'll be going to some Pride events as a spectator.  Maybe marching in a parade if they have open participation.    The event we'd prefer to go to is held in a small town with a population of less than 600.  They have a parade through all three blocks of their downtown area.  Unfortunately, this year it is on the same day as a memorial service for a friend who passed away this winter, so we'll have to miss it.  So our second choice is a larger town, population about 9000, a bit farther away.    And we are keeping our eyes open for other events in the general area as they are announced.   I dress a bit flashier than normal, with some trans bling, such as rainbow or trans flag earrings, a trans symbol pendant, and a handheld trans flag to wave.  Political sentiment is turning against us, but public sentiment here is still strongly on our side, so getting out and showing the flag, both literally and figuratively, is important.
