A bike ride

I got home from work, jumped through a shower and then went to my room to get dressed so I could go visit some relatives. My intention was to grab just a t-shirt and regular jeans as I do every other day after work, but when the closet doors opened I found myself facing my softer self, and she wanted to get out of the closet a bit.

I pondered on this briefly, and then came to the conclusion that I have gotten dressed at their house before in my early days of dressing, it is winter here so the sun sets early, and that on my steel steed I would be wearing a helmet and bike jacket and moving so quick that no one would have the time to properly analyse me.

A pair of closed black ankle wedges, light blue bell-bottom jeans, breast forms, undies, long-sleeve black gypsy top and a silver necklace later, I hop on the motorcycle and head into the night. I sweat nervousness whenever a red light stopped me and every step of the way I felt an imaginary spotlight unnecessarily highlighting me.

I reach my relatives, and relatively quickly the regrets start surfacing. I didnt do any makeup so I look like pimple ridden bloke in women's clothing, what if they find it too weird or if I mismatched my clothing again. For the first while I was sitting there uneasily wondering what they were thinking of this. As the night went on however, I found myself just acting mostly as normal and becoming more comfortable and they were very much just treating me as always, they weren't even phased by the look.

Several cups of coffee and three hours of lovely conversation later I finally went home, now with less worries over who coud see what or read me and more concern regarding changing gears on my bike with the wedges.

It's not much, but those were my first moments outside four walls while dressed, and it felt good, and admittedly a little bit cold.

Sounds thrilling! Haven't ridden a bike in years, and never dressed female. Used to go into the garage and sit on my bike, imagining what it would be like. Glad you had fun!

I put my bike up a while ago but your post makes me want to get new tires and take the old girl for a ride with the new girl riding. Glad things worked out. Maybe next time to be warmer you should wear some panty hose under the jeans.

Hugs,

Charlize

Pantyhose are a good idea. I should've thought of that. Thank you for that suggestion Charlize. I'm fairly certain this adventure opened a door I can't entirely close again. I already feel like I'd like to dress and ride somewhere where there's a little coffee shop of sorts or something and get out publicly, walk around so I can feel the wedges and get used to that stride.

Riding a bike is very much central to my life. Above all else, gender, age, career, I consider myself a biker. Today it's raining and hailing and still I commuted to work and clients with my baby. Admittedly I look like a wet mop and my socks are sloshing in my shoes but I love every second of it. Even after having survived two accidents I can't get enough. If I can be a biker chick that looks semi decent as well that would be lovely hehe. Only trouble I'm having is that I love dresses and they don't go that we'll with a bike. Not unless you're into advertising XD

In the beginning I kinda feared the love of bikes was some sort of indication that I was too masculine to be trans or anything like that, made me feel invalidated. Hearing you ladies talking about wanting to ride makes me feel better.

My bike is not motorized, at least not yet, though it does seem to be getting more difficult going up the hills here in Cin'ti. I were pants even if en femme, sometimes with a skirt underneath for after, especially in the winter. The hazards of the road do tend to take one's mind off of lesser matters. I have been hit three times in the left shoulder by mirrors. The drivers, of course, never stopped.

Be safe, be happy,

I wear a Delimira Mastectomy sleep bra with Vollence sleep rated breast forms. The form fit inside pockets so they don't touch your skin. I bought the bras on Amazon and found the forms on eBay. They were much less expensive than buying through the other sources.

I wore an olive corduroy coverall dress with a navy blue shirt underneath.

@LittleSamCongratulations on one of the biggest decisions. Looking forward to your progress.

I don't wear a bra to bed.  The girls aren't big enough to need it, but still enough to appreciate.  Just a flannel nightgown suits me fine.

You're welcome. I'm here quite often if you need me.

Yeah, that is the point.  And of course they can be proud of themselves for saving humanity.   Yeah.  That would be scary.  I'd find a bush somewhere like our GOP governor candidate recommends.  So far I've gotten away with the women's.  I've been told I pass better than I realize.  But it would only take one a55h0le.   This is all so stupid.  I mean, who gets off on hanging out in a bathroom?
    • Ashley0616
Oh yes. It was not fun cleaning it up but he is better.

As I read this one, it is only for school bathrooms.  I hope he has signed a bill to triple the number of "security monitors" on the campuses and up their pay considerably, not to mention some other costly stuff.  Only way is for every school employee, to know the birth certificate information of each student by memory which will require 3 additional months of salary for them all.  It appears the enforcement relies on parental reports obtained from their children which opens so much up.  The kids will end up ALL with wet or soiled underwear while the parents go at each other with weapons over "family honor" over false calls based on childish name calling.

I agree. This law is impractical and impossible to evenly enforce without such ridiculous measures in place. What it will do is stigmatize the trans community in Oklahoma and nothing more but ofc, that’s the only point of it.   If I was in that state and needed a restroom, there’s no chance I’d ever step foot in the men’s restroom because of some law. I know I’m not alone in that thinking. This law won’t stand the test of time.

I asked AI to create an image of myself 30 years younger based off my avatar on another site and this was the result:     Wow! I am amazed how close it got my 30 year old face!
