Yikes. Hard to believe what i read there.

Now that is a person with major fashion problems. Do all the women in his congregation wear dresses and have long hair. I do hope he is bald or shaves his head so as not to be one of those perverted Spartans.

Hugs,

Charlize

You just can't argue with crazy and denying historical records. What a weird labyrinth that man's mind must be. Dark and twisted so he has to bend truth and semantics to fit it.

He could benefit from a lesson in the history of when some parts of the Bible were written and what the meaning of terms like breeches was at that time. But then I'm sure it would make no difference because "historical reality" doesn't fit his twisted needs.

If it were not so serious -

He is so expert in clothing he ought to be a woman :D

Even direct attacks on other religion, and obviously has little knowledge of dress of different races

The saddest part is all those sheep in the congregation are so asleep they will never do their own research or question him. The Jesus I know is not a white man in a Beemer and the Catholics I know are not all homosexual. I think God knows his heart and agenda. What about that again? Something about false prophets? Me thinks we see one coming now...

Aren't pants unisexual? I can buy them in the "women's" or the "men's" sections. Still waiting to see skirts in the men's.

There is a printed variation of the Geneva Bible used in the time of Oliver Cromwell known as The Breeches Bible because of a passage about Adam and Eve---

"Then the eies of them both were opfened, and they knewe that they were naked, and they sewed figge tree leaves together, and made themselves breeches."

The King James Version which was actually newer called the "breeches" "aprons". Altogether there are about 40 variations of the book each with their own "peculiarities". Many many years ago I actually did a college paper on the subject of the many variations and was glad the professor was an Episcopalian (which I was not at the time) who loved the point that taking the Bible literally lead to more problems than it solved. I got the deserved "B+" on it.

The sheer ignorance with respect to the history of clothing and culture is staggering.

Also, shoulder length hair isn't long in comparison when all the women leave their hair completely uncut.

This reminds me of the "paisley is the devil" website.

This reminds me of when I got hit with the bible and a "burn in hell if you aren't good" tract last year by a group from a bible college. Because I had some cute girl clothes on ??!! All the women had long hair tied up in a bun, all wore long skirts. All the guys had short hair, dress pants, long sleeve shirts. Such ridgid conformity can't be good, and why is it? Flawed dogma in my opinion.

Funny thing, I was discussing it in a meeting later, and a lady friend said those women were just mad because I had the pants the wished they could wear. Could be. Lighten up, my christian sisters! Enjoy the beauty and diversity

People then wore what many there still do, robes. This included the Romans. Pants were worn by people who rode horseback to the East starting in Iran. They also invented High Heels so that they could stand in the stirrups to shoot their bows! Romans and others used chariots and had no need for them. Romans who ruled Judea were clean shaven and wore short hair unlike the Zelots like Jesus and the Orthodox Jews still do.

I think there is some truth in this.  They intend to implement Project 2025, whether or not he spends his energies persecuting the Democrats who have been persecuting him (in his view, a debatable point) and does nothing else.   I have seen numerous accusations that the document is about "Trumpism", whatever that is, and is merely a vehicle for him to become dictator.  From what I have read so far, that is the same sort of truth as the Steele Dossier, denying the validity of a certain laptop, Schiff's non-existence evidence of collaboration and a host of other things, many directly from Biden, that are simply not true.   I will continue reading it.

      Who, precisely, are "they"?

Wife of mine pointed out that not getting a haircut for a month looks hideous - weird bald patches.  So back to super- short buzz cut.  This morning I braced, looking in the mirror.  I look like a woman trying to pass as a a guy, maybe  a small-breasted woman with enough T treatment to grow a mustache.    I would not believe me if I read what I write about me.  This is nuts.   White t-shirt: that they sell in the back of WM so you can tie-dye them or otherwise decorate them. They are thick and long lasting and slightly fitted, so that they could be a man's.  I like them.   Jeans, flip flops.   I will no longer point out these are women's.  What else would I wear?

That is all that is necessary. I did the same thing. I must have gotten something wrong.

Quite right mate! I have been letting my hair grow out again (I cut it all off when I was 18).    I'll never look this good:    But I'll aspire to look my best! ☺️

Yeah, if Trump wins, they'll just flip it again.
    • Ivy
Nope.  He is merely a tool for them to get a foot in the door.  Any other "conservative" president would be fine - on the off chance he doesn't actually run. Trump's "policies" change with his whims.  Look how he's trying to back peddle on abortion.  The only thing he stands for is himself.
